I am interested in purchasing the Kleaner WordPress Theme and need some clarifications before proceeding:
1. Demo Import & Page Selection If I import the demo content, will my site look exactly like the live preview, including all sections, fonts, colors, and layouts? Do I have the option to select specific pages or sections to import instead of the full demo? For example, if I want only the homepage from Demo 2 and the about page from Demo 3, is that possible? Can I build my site page by page, selecting sections individually, or is the demo only available as a full import?
2. Homepage Setup After importing the demo, how do I set a specific homepage? Some users have reported getting a “404. Nothing here” error when trying to edit with Elementor. How can I prevent this? If I import multiple demo homepages, can I switch between them easily without breaking my design?
3. Customization & Elementor Issues Are all sections of the theme fully customizable with Elementor, or are there any limitations where I need to modify theme files manually? Some users have reported conflicts between Elementor and the theme. Have these issues been addressed in the latest update? What is the best way to prevent errors like the “recent-projects-widget.php” fatal error when updating the theme and Elementor?
4. SEO & URL Customization How can I remove “blog” from the URL path? For example, instead of https://website.com/blog/project/fleche-blanche-elementor/, I want it to be https://website.com/project/fleche-blanche-elementor/. Does the theme support custom SEO-friendly URL structures without requiring additional plugins?
5. Performance Optimization & Dynamic Elements Does the theme include performance optimization features (lazy loading, caching, or minification), or do I need to install external plugins? Some users reported issues with dynamic text in Elementor moving content up and down unexpectedly when scrolling. Has this issue been resolved, or is there a setting to fix this behavior?
6. Plugin Compatibility & Updates Are premium plugins like Elementor Pro or WPBakery included, or do I need to purchase them separately? How often do you release theme updates, and are plugin updates included? If I experience issues after updating Elementor, do you provide fixes quickly, or would I need to manually adjust the theme files?
7. Contact Form Issues Some users mentioned that the contact form is not working, even after switching to other form plugins like Forminator. Is this a known issue, and what is the recommended solution?
8. Video Background & Media Issues Can I use a YouTube video as a background for my homepage? If so, how do I ensure it loops continuously without showing random video suggestions when it ends? Thanks so much for your interest. I’d be happy to help and answer your questions:
1. The theme includes a one click demo import option, which lets you import a complete demo. It’s not possible to pick and choose specific pages to import, once you choose a demo, the full version of it will be added to your site. Please note that demo images aren’t included and will be replaced with grey placeholders. If you like the demo images, we can share a link to the stock photo collection so you can purchase them separately.
2. Each demo comes with one predefined homepage, which will automatically be set as your site’s homepage. If you’d prefer to use a different page instead, you can easily change it under Settings → Reading in your WordPress dashboard. Note: homepages from other demo’s can’t be selected.
3. This theme uses WPBakery Page Builder and currently doesn’t support Elementor. We might consider adding Elementor compatibility in the future, but there’s no set timeline for that yet.
4. The appearance of ”/blog/” in your single post URLs isn’t controlled by the theme, it’s a WordPress setting. You can change this under Settings → Permalinks in your dashboard.
5. Performance features like caching or minification aren’t built into the theme itself, but you can easily add them using popular plugins like WP Fastest Cache or Autoptimize. Just a heads-up: it’s important to test what works best for your site.
6. WPBakery Page Builder is bundled with the theme, so there’s no need to purchase it separately. Most plugins can be updated directly from the Plugins tab in your dashboard. For plugins included with the theme, we release updates when the theme is updated. If needed, you can delete and reinstall those plugins to get the latest versions directly. Just to confirm again: Elementor is not included with this theme.
7. If you’re having trouble with your contact form emails, it’s most likely a server configuration issue, not theme-related. Often, mail servers block contact form submissions by default. A quick fix is to install and configure an SMTP plugin, which helps ensure that form submissions are delivered properly via your domain’s mail server.
8. WPBakery Page Builder has a built-in feature that lets you add YouTube videos as background to rows. These will loop automatically and won’t show related videos at the end. I tested this myself on mobile and didn’t run into any issues, the video played automatically as expected.
9. We’ve been active on ThemeForest for nearly 10 years, and we’ve responded to every single message, almost always within the same day. If you ever encounter a bug or an issue caused by the theme, we’ll absolutely help out, even if your support license has expired. That said, for ongoing support or help with general questions outside of bugs, we kindly ask that you renew your support license to keep things fair for everyone.
Just a couple of additional details that might be helpful to know:
- The theme uses WPBakery Page Builder as its main page builder, not Elementor.
- The header and footer areas aren’t edited with WPBakery. Instead, they’re managed through the WordPress Customizer and the native WordPress widgets.

Unfortunately SEO optimization is not covered by theme support, my support is limited on this subject.
In short: It is entirely up to Google to decide whether or not to index pages on your website, this has nothing to do with the theme or settings.
Make sure you install a popular SEO plugin and make every page you want to be indexed as valuable as possible for searchers by writing optimized SEO texts. Optimize as much points as possible the SEO plugin suggest for each post and page. But remember: even then, Google may still not consider the page valuable enough and not index it.
When I search your website URL in Google with ‘site:’ in front of the URL, I see that many of your pages are actually indexed as they appear in the results. If you want certain pages to score higher in Google, you are talking about SEO optimization and unfortunately I cannot help you with that.

Hello, I am recieivng this error mesage? I updated the theme then deactivated all plugins. I know it is the tool kit that is the issue. Do you have a fix for it?

GM Curious after that update, now I am getting an error message when you view my projects, although they are all there. Could you please navigate to Settings → Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard, ensure that the Permalink structure is set to “Post name”, and then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page? This will flush the permalinks and may resolve the issue.

Hello, When updating to the latest version of the template, the logo is not visible on a mobile device. I know it’s the template because I’ve tested deactivating everything except the template and that’s when it happens. :-/

Do the theme support PHP 8? I’m running The Kleaner QTVersion: 1.9.3 and the theme works great in PHP 7 but when I move to 8 the theme fails.

The theme is tested on PHP 8.0 and 8.1. I’ve just tested it again on my local theme installation but couldn’t find any issues on these PHP versions.
After updating the theme can you check if you have updated the following plugins as well, under Appearance -> Install Plugins:
- Advanced Custom Fields PRO
- Booked
- The Kleaner Toolkit
Then, check if Booked version 2.3.5 is installed on your website. If version 2.4 is installed please delete the plugin from your website and reinstall the plugin under Appearance -> Install Plugins, this will automatically install version 2.3.5

I have not purchase your theme. Nevertheless would like to ask pre-sale questions, and these are what I would like to achieve on my website using your theme.
1. I would let the customers select date and time from the calendar you provided .
2. After these, I would like my customer be able to add the types of cleaning they want, with an option to mention sizes of such as carpet, floor, single room, double room, etc. And an item such as Oven, and BBQ, single size, double, medium, large, extra-large, where they can mention height, width, depth, length, thickness etc. The same goes for any of the services such as windows cleaning, etc.
May be questionnaire type with drop down, but the answer option be text box form.
3. Now they have their desire date and time, and added the services they want. Here I would like to display on the page of all these, plus the fees, GST/tax, and give them option to check it out finally. In check out page, they need to enter their personal details including email and home address, and credit card details.
4. As soon as payment has been made successfully, or unsuccessfully, I would like to have then an email notification including an invoice.
I hope these things works as well in shopping page if I would sell any product?
5. Also I have seen you have “Send a Message” option, is this mean customers can send us a text message in to our phone?
6. Also I have seen you have an option to “live edit”, with drag and drop options. Will I be able to resize footer/header/body/page/sliders, without the need to be a developers? I found out most of these drag and drop are just a cheater, as I cannot resize header/footer etc.
7. Are these plugin paid or free version you had included?

1. The only way visitors can select a day and time in the appointment calendar is how it is displayed on the appointment page of our theme demo.
Other ways to select a day/time slot is not available unfortunately.
2. You can add custom field types to the booking modal that will appear after you selected a day and specific time slot. Available field types are: radio buttons, checkboxes, dropdown field and text/textarea
Note that the custom fields don’t do anything else than showing the entered data in the email you receive from a booking.
3. Unfortunately this is not possible.
4. A message will be send the the email address of the website administrator and the person that booked the appointment. This is a simple email with a logo and the day, time and entered details. Unfortunately there is no invoice functionality within this appointment calendar.
5. The “Send a Message” is part of the contact form and messages will be send to the entered email address. The contact form have no connection with the appointment calendar and both are separate functionalities.
6. The page builder used in the theme is the WP Bakery Page Builder and you can enable the live editor to edit the content section (body) of each page.
The footer can be created as well with the page builder, we made a custom integration for this. The header can’t be edited with the page builder.
The slider is a simple widget that can be added to the body of the page builder but don’t have many settings to keep it light weight.
7. The WP Bakery Page Builder and Booked Appointment plugin are premium plugins but comes with the theme for free.

For bundled plugins that comes with the theme you don’t need to have a license. To update the WPBakery Page Builder plugin to the latest version please update the theme first.

If you follow the steps in the theme update article I linked before nothing will happen. Theme updates will not affect or delete any of that. Also after using the demo importer this will not be deleted when updating the theme.
However, we always recommend to install a backup plugin (like UpdraftPlus) and create a backup just in case something goes wrong.

Our theme includes those type of options as well. The theme in the video you’ve send are added to a separate option page that requires you to go back and forth to see the changes.
We have added all options to the customizer area (instead of a separate option page) that allows to directly preview the changes in your browser while you change them which will work way more efficient.

I am having issue displaying the logo when using SSL certificate. This is the info i have:
An image with an insecure url of “http://www.xxxxxxx.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/web-logo1.png” was loaded on line: 697 of https://www.xxxxxxx.com.au/. This URL will need to be updated to use a secure URL for your padlock to return.

If you have installed an SSL certificate on your server you also need to configure your WordPress installation for the secure HTTPS connection.
Before going through the steps below really make sure the front-end and back-end of your website are both accessible through HTTPS
1. Go to Settings -> General and change the “WordPress Address” and “Site URL” by replacing http to https
2. Go to Appearance -> Customize -> Logo / Site Identity and click the remove button at the logo option, then re-add the logo again so the correct path will be saved in the database
3. If you still see the insecure notice in the browser console the best option is to install the Really Simple SSL plugin and activate it via Settings -> SSL by clicking the “Go ahead, activate SSL” button
