Hello I just purchased the theme and everything looks perfect – my only issue, and i’ve never experienced this before, is when I put the files on a live server and change index.html to index.php I get a 404 error. But everything works perfectly on a test environment using MAMP Pro.
I’m not sure why the .php is returning a 404 error on a live server but .html works fine. We have various other PHP applications on our server so I’m certain it isn’t the server.
Please help me out as I need it to run .php!

I have submitted a ticket but it is definitely not a server glitch – I’ve just placed a variety of other PHP applications and basic files inside the same directory and they work perfect on the live server and the local server. Only when I put the AppKit > Bootstrap 5.x > Code on a live server and change index.html to index.php it doesn’t work. So something is preventing it in your files from loading.

very interested in purchasing this… need to ask a few questions.. looking to run this in a web view for react native, any issues with that? can the sidebar menu be set to always open on larger devices like tablets? what does this look like on a regular desktop / laptop? The demo only shows it in a simulated mobile device. Also does this have or can you add any drag drop capability for components?

I love this but I’m a bit confused, assume this is not connected to a WP site using rest api? I wanted a PWA site and this is great but not if there isn’t a backend CMS. We have a lot of news and I need a way to add the daily without having to mess with code all the time – am I missing the point here?

If you are referring to the Shop / Store Pages, Appkit is only a Site Template, it must be converted to a WordPress Theme or a Commerce CMS for these pages to have purchasing functionality. Hi, thank for theme. In cordova app, imported/embedded htmls like left-menu, footer-menu and swipe left to back page its not work. Menus show empty. Hey. Thanks for a great bootstrap based product. This is exactly what is ideal for integration into any CMS.
There are a couple of questions:
1. How do I disable PWA generation for IOS only? But leave for android.
2. The documentation says that when using a template in php CMS, you must disable var isAJAX
I tested both the value (var isAJAX = true; and var isAJAX = false;) and in general var isAJAX = true; visually gives an increase in speed, but strongly caches the content of pages.
In this case, var isAJAX = true; there is a problem if the domain is of the third level (and not, as usual, the second). In this case, the page is loaded empty and without a forced manual reload does not update its content.
Otherwise, everything is super.

However this should work perfectly with any CMS if you follow the documentation and place your custom JavaScript in the custom.js file inside the init_template() function.
