Hi, I’m testing both chrome and firefox on windows. Chrome up to date : Google Chrome est à jour Version 87.0.4280.88 (Build officiel) (64 bits) Firefox up to date : 84.0b8 (64 bits) Same issue on both browsers… I don’t understand ! :/

I am having trouble with the video functions showing up in MailChimp. (Only the image with no video functionality) I edit the template and download the HTML like normal but when I import the code it doesn’t show up. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

My apologies for the trouble. Unfortunately, Mailchimp doesn’t support the video feature in templates and doesn’t let it go through.
You will have to use a different email service provider from any of the few following:
- Campaign monitor - Mailster - Active campaign - Freshmail - iContact - Vertical Response - Constant contact - Get Response - Zoho Campaigns

- You can edit Kinetic on Constant Contact and in Robust Editor both. We recommend you use the Robust Editor to edit the template and then upload to Constant Contact: https://robust.email/templates?name=kinetic

This email template is very unstable, not 100% responsive and the online template editor is difficult to use/unstable. I spent days trying to edit (multiple times) and configure but was unable to download the template because my purchase code was ‘invalid’. When I finally got to download the template using a temp purchase code provided to me by the plugin author, the template did not look good on both Mailster and Mailchimp. It also looked really bad on other email platforms (Outlook in particular). I did get a lot of support from Basit but it did not fix the issues. It was really painful having to start again but at least I got my email newsletter out in 1 day instead of wasting 1 week trying to get the video, accordion and other ‘interactive’ elements out. How do I get a refund?
I just purchased your template, took it into the template builder to save it and then dropped the code right into GetResponse and I am seeing no kinetic activity from any of them. Despite the documentation it does not seem clear to me how to use this accurately. Can you please describe what I am missing here? I want to customize it, but won’t proceed until I know the code provided as-is actually functions…

- The updated GetResponse template preview doesn’t seem to support the Interactive module(s) of Kinetic and I’ve tested that It is working as normal in supported Email Clients once the template is sent through GetResponse.
The email clients that currently support interactivity are:
- Apple Mail 7 - Apple Mail 8 - Outlook 2011 for Mac - Outlook 2016 for Mac - Mozilla Thunderbird - iPad and iPad mini iOS - iPhone iOS - Android - Windows Mobile
- Please use the Robust Template Editor to edit the interactive modules.

1. The video is currently supported in the following email clients:
- Apple Mail - Thunderbird (Newest version) - iOS 10, Native Client - Samsung Galaxy, Native Client
A fallback image will appear in non-supported email clients
2. The video should be self hosted in .mp4 and .ogg format. We can assist you with this and host your video on our server. All you have to do is send us your video URL either it be on YouTube or anywhere else.

Hello. I bought your template a couple of days ago. There are some issues with the Mailchimp version of it. When I import it into Mailchimp the interactive carousel somehow gets broken and doesn’t work in the newsletter that we send from Mailchimp. There also are some problems with the Expendable interactive modules and the icons doesn’t show. I was able to get the icons to show by downloading them and uploading them to our server and then changing the url in the html-code, but I don’t know if that is the proper way to do this. Could you be so kind to look into this and give me an answer?

Hi Basit, Thank you for good support, quick solution to the problem and explanation why it doesn’t work in all e-mail clients. A couple of day ago we used your template from Mailchimp and I am very pleased with the professional looking design and will continue to use it in upcoming campaign newsletters – even though we decided not to use the “carousel” and the “expendable interactive modules”. Maybe later when more e-mail clients support it.
