Please note that Pawsitive theme does not support Elementor – so you can not use Elementor with the theme.

Although you can use Gutenberg, you will not be able to replicate the layouts from the demo pages with Gutenberg since custom page elements are not mapped for Gutenberg. You will be able to use it for blog posts though.

The theme works fully only with Bold Builder in the background.

Related to import of existing posts, once you install the theme and import demo content, you can import your blog posts using third party plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-import/ or similar

Why are you using your own drag and drop instead of Elementor? The reason I ask is that it makes it more difficult in future to change to a different theme. And actually I have that problem to face with my current Newspaper Theme because it has it’s own drag and drop called tagDiv.

Our page builder gave us much more versatility, flexibility and control over the layouts and designs comparing to Elementor. Although great when building simple to moderate layouts, we have found Elementor quite rigid in implementation of complex layouts (nested and sub elements).
