Thank you for your patience, you can make the post sticky by following these steps:
On the post edit screen, look towards the right-hand sidebar where you will see your document settings. Click on ‘Status and Visibility’ option first.
Now you will see a checkbox option for ‘Stick to the Front Page.’ Simply check the box to make the post sticky and then save or publish your post.

Please give me instructions to install the theme like the demo them. I used the One Click Demo Import plugin and select Demo Content/writting.xml. I got an error message: 500. Hello, I would like my header to resemble the style on https://www.challies.com. I want a top bar with my logo on the left side and the menu on the right side. Is that possible with the Writing theme?
I would also love to have the “header” space above the posts archive where I can put a tag line and photo of myself like Challies has. Any help you can offer? Would I need to tweak the code to do this?
Hi, I figured out the issue with the header/top bar. Now I’m having trouble getting my sidebar to respond to my customization. My custom html is not showing up in the sidebar. Neither are my categories. Any help?

Sorry I don’t understand Russian but I used Google Translate You can change language to Russian from (Settings > General > Site Language) and to translate the theme, you can translate it using Loco Translate plugin.

I updated my Wordpress (v. 5.6) and used the famous Hummingbird plugin (by WPMU DEV, v. 2.7.0) to optimize the site according to the results of Google PageSpeed Insights. Among these improvements, there is “minifying” and changing the cache time of js/css files. However, with this change, the website layout when accessing from mobile devices is strange, with the top menu being “all loaded” and leaving little space on the screen to read the content of the website / blog. By clicking on the top right icon, the menu collapses (shrinks), but I understand that the menu should come like this by default.
Can you help me, please?
