Page Links To – Bug? With next post auto loading
In Valenti I used the plugin “Page Links To” to directly link the post to an external website, without the user needed to click twice for the same result.
Now I noticed that the auto loading next post get stuck if he loaded such a post in.
Could this be fixed?

Using it for years now. In Zeen you have the option to load the next post once you have reached the end of the post that you have been looking at.
Once an article is loaded that is using that plugin. The zeen auto loader seems to get stuck and doesn’t load any post. I don’t have support any more. I just wanted to notify you about this, as this plugin is a popular plugin.
Ah I see, I’m not 100% sure but it definitely sounds like that plugin is probably doing something very custom/unique to make the change/redirect and that would be the root of the issue, don’t know if the theme can bypass it.
So i’m using a sidebar on my homepage on two sections.
Is it possible to clone the “Zeen: stylish articles” ? Because once i insert them in both sections, i’m not able change the amount. One only needs to show 10 and the second section needs to show 40 articles so the whole page is filled and doesn’t has a white gap after the 10 articles.
So maybe to clone “Zeen: stylish articles” to “Zeen: stylish articles 2” I’m able to config this how I want?

Are you referring to the Zeen Stylish Articles widget? If so, adding the widget twice allows you to edit each one as you wish. You should be able to set one to show 10 and another 40 articles.

I will try it again, but it didn’t work.
Another question is there a tool like you write in your zeen docs for featured images. To change all post layouts to the default setting of zeen post layouts?
As some post keep their layout settings from valenti. as I have 7000+ posts it’s to much to manually find and change them one by one to the theme default post layout setting.
If I need to run something in the DB (mysql) just let me know.

Yeah there is a way to do that, the steps will be added to the docs in the next update. Until then you can open a ticket and the support team can help you with it so you don’t have to do it manually.

FOR THE FEATURED HERO IMAGES DO
Go to the plugin page in your backend and select all posts. Then for the Field Name enter: zeen_hero_design Then for the Value enter: 99 Then run the plugin and done.
FOR THE POST DEFAULT LAYOUT Go to the plugin page in your backend and select all posts. Then for the Field Name enter: zeen_article_layout Then for the Value enter: 99 Then run the plugin and done.
I only bumb into the fact that i only can do 200 posts. There is no next page in this plugin. Any one knows how to fix this for all your post content?
Via the plugin php file Is was able to change the post per page to 1000 and a few lines below increase the page number each time and save the file again.
Not sure how you are able to do this in an other way.

1- That is done in the Tipi Builder. Simply edit the page in the builder and you can edit that.

Ah you mean manually increase reaction values to your posts so that they aren’t zero?

Ah okay, that requires editing post custom field values. Open a ticket and ask it be forwarded to Chris, he can help with this. Just ensure to specific if you want to manually tweak it for a few existing posts manually or if you want to do it forever automatically for new posts. As I think the new posts method would be more complicated.

You need to share your url and explain what exactly you are referring to, as it depends on what you’re referring to exactly. You will need to open a ticket for that type of support though as I mentioned.

You’re welcome. I think that site isn’t setting a video url as the video post format, it’s just enabling the video post format option but then manually inserting the video url to the top of the post article, that’s how I think they’re doing that.
Hi, I’ve built my last website with Elementor. It resulted in extremely inflated code. And though I’ve managed to optimize the speed, I doubt that kind of code is a good thing regarding to SEO.
No I’m about to use Zeen. You’re also using a page-builder there… Will it affect the sites’s code in a similar way? If not, how is it different.
And: Could I use Zeen without the sitebuilder? Or use it and later convert to static HTML using a plugin…?

That is a common issue with 3rd party builders like Elementor. I personally don’t use it on any of my personal sites either!
The Tipi Builder is very different. If you look at the speed and code of the Tipi Builder, you’ll notice how exceptionally clean and light it all is! That’s why all the Zeen demos have near perfect scores (lots of them have 100/100 speed scores).
You can of course use Zeen without it too, you don’t need it if you just want a standard homepage. The theme options > Blog page controls the layout of standard homepages, so you can still make it look beautiful

You’re right, Goodreads is a social platform for book readers. Each user gets a bespoke profile URL which has updates on books they’ve read and reviews. Would love to be able to point site visitors to a profile!

I would like to make a suggestion for your future update: please add a Flipboard icon for social media! I have already suggested this in the forums and email it to your suggestions email since last year. We really need Flipboard for the Zeen social widget.

Yes, Flipboard has profiles, you only need to add a field where the user can add the Flipboard profile/magazine link. Been using your theme for more than a year and I LOVE IT but lately whenever I click any link it goes blank with a X arrow at the right top corner. Do i need to update the theme to avoid this? Loving this theme quite a bit. Really intuitive and nicely designed. I was wondering, is there a way to underline or bold words that have been hyperlinked? At the moment, when I’ve linked with a word, it looks no different to the rest of the text. I’d love for an underline function.

Yeah you can indeed do that, go to Theme Options > Typography > Underline Options. And you’ll see some nice options to set up the links underline design, including colors, thickness and what to do on mouse hover.

You’re welcome. I was referring to the video background playing at the top of the SKL demo, I was just pointing out how you can have videos running in the background.
But in terms of normal background images, yeah, you can 100% do that Featured Destination layout in Zeen. You can also do the “Do you love to travel” block layout too. They are super easy to do in Zeen too

Hi Guys, I just bought your theme and let me say it si a definitive weapon a beautiful, well designed, friendly and a very complete template I was waiting for years. Thnaks for your amazing work. I wrote because I can’t sort one thing out. The subtitle of the home page is not showing in the megamenu and I don’t know how to let it work. And that is no bother at all! But the reason is because the megamenus are coded to not output the subtitle on purpose (to keep it all looking extra clean design-wise). However, I’ll ensure that a new option is added in one of the upcoming updates to allow for this to be possible. Check the changelog of each update, as it will be mentioned once it’s done.

Thank you guys for the prompt reply and again, your theme is really fantastic. Just a thing to clarify, because sometimes I do explain very badly myself, sorry about that. If I use as main item of the megamenu, a category, I can see both the Main Title and the Subtitle. If I choose to see just the subtitle, I can do it easily from the megamenu options. It is enough to unflag the “show the Main title” option from the backend and when I pass the mouse on the menu, it shows just the subtitle. Now, I would like to do the same, but not with the category, but with a page, in this case with the Home page. I need to toggle the Home Label when the megamenu window is opening, and use instead a subtitle. I think, There is a glitch with the template, as this option isn’t enabling when I choose to use some specific pages to be featured in the megamenu, but it works if I just choose for example the latest posts.. I don’t want to waste your time, but I think it could also useful for improving the theme and maybe deliver a Better Template to all your customers. Do you think you can dig it for me? If you need I can let you access my website or send the screenshots that surely can better explain this little glitch. Thank you again Guys.. in any case, you have created a masterpiece. Ivano

Oh I see, let me confirm I understand what you mean – you want to set a megamenu with pages (using ids) and you want to still show a subtitle above them? Where would this subtitle come from exactly, are you hoping that adding a main page as the menu item would pull the Zeen subtitle on that page? Is that it?
