Do you know how I find out the longitude / latitude for the google map? If I go to google and find my location and copy it e.g. NAME , TOWN, UK and then put into the js file it won’t load in ie9 but will in firefox.

Thanks for the response. I tried all that and it still failed. What else could be wrong? I changed nothing in the style, js, or otherwise.
Try to set preload option to false in background slider settings in js/noel-scripts.js file:

Hi is there a reason why the preview theme doesn’t work the project example plug in ie9? I can’t see any thumbnails.
I checked Noel demo in IE9 and also switched to IE8 mode, and projects work just fine. Try to clear cache and let browser re-download everything.
All I get is the logo. It works beautifully in Firefox and Chrome.

If site does not load further than the logo screen, then you can try following: - try to clear browser cache - if it does not help, you may redownload the files from themeforest and only copy js/jquery.backslider.min.js file to your installation (I made few updates to the Noel template recently, and in one of theme I fixed some problems with background slider).
Also you may want to set “min-height:450px” for #sidenav DIV in css/style.css. This will make menu the same height as content.
Hey, nice work here. How do I make it work in IE7 ? Many of my intended target are still on ancient equipment.

You have very old version of Backslider plugin (v1.3). Please download this JS file http://themes.gravitysign.com/noel/wp-content/themes/noel/js/jquery.backslider.min.js and upload it using FTP to this folder wp-content/themes/noel/js/ in your WP install. Then clear browser cache and check site in IE9 again

Hello! back again with a new question. I am trying to upload pictures to display In the gallery, however I cannot find the proper folder and the gallery.html doesn’t seem to make sense, it has codes and img descriptions, but they dont seem to match what’s on the actual site, so where can I upload/replace photos In the gallery?
This is what the gallery.html looks like, the 3 images in that code do not seem to relate to the actual gallery page because there are like 7 pictures on the live page itself. thank you for your help.

Hello! Site background changer expects 4 images. But inly 3 of them are available. Seems images/slide1.jpg is missing.

Hi this is just great ! ! ! One question., how does it work with the search engines in the code I can see some div´s with ajax that links to the about.html, news.html etc…but works like iframe. How the search engine reads the content ??

Thanks for interest to my template! There is actually no need to use ajax to load sections, but this is a nice option though. You can put every section code directly inside of index.html instead of loading with ajax, and make crawlers read them.

There seems to be a cross browser issue for me. It times out for IE 9 and the latest version of Chrome Version 22.0.1229.79 m does not load any content at all for any of the pages. It does however work in Firefox.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for question. Actually this template has complex design and therefore making it portable to the mobile devices was not the first goal. But since I uploaded it to themeforest I already received two requests about making it responsive. So now I’m looking for a possible way to make it responsive or at least make it look better on mobile devices.

i know this is not “responsive” but in general every website made in html is possible to see from a smartphone. your template IS IMPOSSIBLE to see it, i can’t read the text, i can’t zoom in….i don’t understand why!!
I have HTC Desire and I can view site when I hold phone in landscape mode. Yes, I totally agree that there are some problems with scroll on small screens. Mostly because the menu scrolls with native scrollbars, but main content has custom scrollbars. Also you can’t zoom site because I disabled zoom in code. I have plains to make my site responsive in nearest future, what will resolve this sort of problems.

Well, what you can do is to look in images/ folder and subfolders and replace photos with yours; then open html files and replace text. However my advice is to find someone who can do this for you, if you really don’t know what to do.
any chance that youll make this theme responsive for mobile devices in the future?

Fancybox plugin would require some setup to play youtube videos. There is a lot of examples in Internet or I can give you the code.

great! Also, quick big with the update. When I open index.html in safari it doesnt let me view the pages. It works just fine in firefox. However, when i upload the files to a server it works in safari. Not a big deal because i can preview it in firefox and it works in safari when i upload it, but just thought i would let you know. I know such problem exist in Chrome, that it doesn’t load pages with ajax if site is opened from disk
