Mainly our item is a WordPress theme and we are providing a custom WHMCS template by matching our theme. If you want to use WHMCS for billing then you need to buy a WHMCS license to use WHMCS.

Our provided WHMCS template is already compatible with the WHMCS 8.2.x. Because we are providing a child theme of the WHMCS twenty-one theme and there is nothing to update in our child theme to make it compatible with the WHMCS 8.2.x. However, we will update our item within the next couple of weeks.
