I Follow the video step to setup the Theme, everything is smooth, but after I imported everything, i try to access to “Profile Info” page, the pages loads and then return Blank page, nothing appeared, all other pages is normal.
I try to create new account, entered all user profile info inside the WP admin panel, still cannot see the profile info page with info, how can i fix that?

Hi, this is fantastic theme though I have installed it and am looking through it testing the functionality and I can not work out why the user is unable to edit their profile info. When I try and load that page it just comes up blank.
I do not have any third party plugins installed, just the plugins required to run the theme. Have I not configured something I correctly?

I have a question that bugs though. I’m trying to customize the app bundle but my knowledge of Javascript is limited.
On line 33940 i’m trying to change the color of each avatar progress circle. Since I’m trying to condition the color depending on the user, I would like to change the call to «vk-avatar-gradient » and call the entry user ID instead. I found the variable « this.props.user.id » but it doesn’t seem to work.
Here’s what i tried to achieve :
small: { color: “url(#”this.props.user.id“)”, trailColor: vikinger_constants.colors[“—color-progressbar-underline”], strokeWidth: 8, trailWidth: 8, svgStyle: { width: “40px”, height: “40px” } },
And same for every size

Hi Erike87, the theme hasn’t been tested with that plugin. Please keep in mind that, due to the really custom nature of the design (that has things like a custom slider with icon tabs in the profile pages instead of the classic BP row of links in order to make it look different than the average BP theme) plugins that may work in a vanilla theme, may require some code customization in order to integrate them. You can use the included child theme to add your translation (or customizations) so it won’t be replaced when the parent theme is updated.

Hi. I’ve noticed that points/achievement unlocks, etc are not showing in the Activity Feed.
They do show up with basic vanilla themes activated. I’m using the Gamipress-Buddypress Integration plugin. I know it’s been mentioned that Vikinger supports standard Gamipress features but this is a free add-on and Buddypress is a vital part of the theme so so surely that should be included? It seems that you do have this plugin activated because in some of the screenshots in the docs the option to show the Achievements on the Activity Feed is there. How can I get the Gamipress unlocks to show on the Activity Feed.
Secondly, There are widgets for showing the Badges and Quests on the Profiles, but how do we get our own custom achievements to show there? Are we supposed to import the demo content and edit those? Isn’t there another way to include our own existing Gamipress content?
Finally, please can you add the ability to add custom profile tabs with our own custom content, like shortcodes. Youzer/Youzify has that and it’s the biggest feature that I feel Vikiger is missing. Thanks.

1- The achievements/credits unlocks aren’t displayed in the feed basically to avoid cluttering it. Seeing that some credits are awarded every time someone posts a post update, the feed will quickly fill with GamiPress status updates, If you have any further questions about this, please send us an email to our support account (you can find all the info inside the theme) with screenshots of the issue and a link and credentials to your site so our team can help you.
2- The widgets show the badges/quests/credits that are included in the demo import. You can import the demo content and then edit them, or just follow the steps in the docs in order to create your own. For now there’s no way to change the widgets without modifying the code.
3- We’ll pass this to the dev team, we can’t promise anything at the moment because we’re currently working on other updates, but if something changes, we’ll let you know! Please keep in mind that Youzer already has 4 years worth of updates, and this theme, just a few months!

1) Hi. That’s good to hear, thanks. As I do think it should be optional for us whether we want to show Gamipress activity updates. By the way, the image in question was here:

2) You mention following the docs to create our own achievements etc but how would we get them to show up on the widget? It’s pointless to create our own if we can’t customise which ones show on the profile/widgets. I’m fairly comfortable with editing code. Which file/s would I need to customise to add my own?
3) I understand, but again, if I were to add the extra tabs myself which file/s must I customise? I already know how to add custom tabs and content to vanilla Buddypress installs, but they don’t show up as tabs when Vikinger is installed.

1- Yes, with the next update you’ll be able to chose what you wanna show from the backend (like the image you’re showing) and they will appear in the profile/newsfeed.

3- We already had plans to add more compatibility for when people add plugins that have links in the profile that show in the vanilla theme but not in this one (this is mainly because, as you can see, the theme has a really custom design (for example the profile tabs slider), but we’re working on it!

Tho I would like also to try and have different Log-Ins for the Community Members and people who would have the role and have their separate pages as Sellers, They would be Store sellers related to the Niche, so is it maybe available with the Theme to have 2 different Log in options which will then trigger the pages to look different??

I’m trying to figure out how to make the default avatars work instead of the ones from the front end. Any way to do that? Mine I have loaded via URL into the user profiles(works like default avatars).
I am scouring the code but maybe you could point me where to look or how to do this?
I’m using a plugin to login to a social media account and it doesn’t import avatars or profile images and instead loads them from external CDNs meaning a web address. This theme refuses to see them as a profile image and I’ve tinkered with the code for hours from plugin to this and cannot get the theme to show the avatar images on the front end of the site. They show just fine and are linked in the admin panel within the user edit area.
