Hello and congratulations for the original design. Is there a particular reason why you decided to remove the widgets-block-editor? If I were to reactivate it, would this cause problems?

Is it compatible with Turkish language?
Hey yusufmah,
Thanks for your interest in Hydra.
We include full translation support for Hydra, so you can add translations for any language, including Turkish. We also include a customizer option to enable support for extended character sets, so Turkish characters will display correctly.
Presale question. I suppose that newsletter functionality depends on Mailchimp. Is there any option (even with an extra fee) to use other newsletter providers suchs as mailerlite? Thank you in advance
Hey cutxo,
Thanks for your interest in Hydra.
The newsletter functionality will technically support any service that provides a HTML embeddable form, however we only include styling support for MailChimp forms currently. We do provide a customization service if you do need assistance with adding styling support for other services, feel free to get in contact via our support site for more information.

Hi,
I was browsing around and saw that you have an update in the pipeline. I know predicting when is very difficult, but could you provide any info on WHAT the update might include? I’m searching for a new theme and would like to know if there are any big feature changes coming that would make this more useful for me.
Thanks!
EDIT: I wanted to add to this that I’d also consider having you customize this a bit to fit my specific needs if you’re available for such work.
Hey dcburnquist,
Thanks for your interest in Hydra.
The next update to Hydra will be a backend update and maintenance release, so won’t include any major functionality changes. Regarding customizations, we do offer this as an additional service, for more information on this you can get in contact via our support site under the ‘Customizations’ section.
Thanks. I opened an initial ticket and I’ll await your response.
Any plans for doing an basic update for all us, old users to maintain wordpress compatibility?
Hey edgethemes,
The current version of Hydra is compatible with the latest WordPress 5.7 release. We’re currently not aware of any compatibility issues, if you are experiencing any please open a ticket via our support site so we can investigate. If your support license has expired you can still submit via the ‘Bug Report’ category. We do have a theme update in progress for Hydra but don’t have a release date to share at the moment.
Great theme. Any chance to bring it to Ghost?
Hey t_raukamp,
Thanks for your comments. We don’t have plans for a Ghost version of Hydra currently, but possibly in the future.

pre-sales qn:
1. Does the theme offer infinite scrolling in single posts? 2. Also is there a way to test out the theme (or let’s say we buy and if it doesn’t work for us – we will ask for a refund within 36 hours)?
Look fwd to.
Hey asin,
Thanks for your interest in Hydra.
1. Hydra includes infinite scrolling functionality for the post list, but not for single posts.
2. Unfortunately we can’t offer a theme trial – we are however available to answer any pre-sale queries that you may have to ensure the theme fits your project before you purchase. The best way to get in contact for this would be our support site under the ‘Presale Queries’ category.
it is good
Hey thekarimun,
Thanks for your comments and interest in Hydra!
Kemaren saya order theme onyx. Very goooooooodddddd alirochmad.com
Your theme has a bug, check the demo via mobile. Go to menu and see the “Latest Posts” section. It’s fine on homepage, but there are big gaps between latest posts on post pages.
Hey Jarda322,
Thanks for letting us know of this. I have made note for this to be corrected in the next theme update.
Hey omri4229,
Thanks for your interest in Hydra.
Hydra is primarily a blogging theme, as such I don’t believe it would fit your use case here based on your provided example. Hydra uses a unique fullpage column layout, so while it does include both header and footer sections, these are not placed across the entire top and bottom of the page. The header is along the left side, and the footer is at the bottom of the content section (which by default is the right side).
Wordpress 5.3 compatible?
Hey Jarda322,
Hydra is compatible with WordPress 5.3 – at the time of writing we are running this version on our theme live demo.

Is just me or I can see two H1 tags on a post page?
First H1: <h1 class="header-title-logo" />
Second H1: <h1 class="cover-title" />
The first one should be removed.
Hey Jarda322,
That is correct, the first is the site title and second the post title. Having multiple H1 elements is perfectly valid and SEO compliant according to Google. It’s a dated and incorrect theory that a page must only have a single H1 element.

Hi,
Can you check, if Hydra is compatible with “Subscribe to Comments Reloaded” plugin, please?
No emails are subscribed to the mailing list of this plugin.
Hey Jarda322,
Unfortunately we can’t provide support for third-party plugins which are not bundled with the theme. I recommend contacting the plugin author if your are experiencing issues with a particular plugin.
With that being said, I have just tested the mentioned plugin with Hydra, and it seems to be functioning as intended regarding subscriptions.
Where can I add PHP code, so the HTML result will be put just after <FORM> comment tag? Comments.php doesn’t have simple code and do know how to insert the code. The resulting HTML should be inside FORM tag.
Please refer to the ‘Support’ section of the included theme documentation.
