You can either install the update manually by downloading the updated theme package from themeforest, or you can use the Envato Market WordPress Plugin https://envato.com/market-plugin/ Do not delete any of the theme required plugins or you will loose all associated data, like reactions and images. My only request/question at the moment is that I’d love if you guys could make a way for users to trade their credits/gems for items inside a store. I saw that you’ll integrate WooCommerce in one of the next updates, but it would be perfect if users could buy items with their credits as well, e.g. giftcards (it is one of the main reasons I will use this theme for). Hi saboora65, we are not seeing the purchased tag with your username, for future reference, please post with the purchase account. Anyway, the BP better messages plugin is optional (NOT mandatory), you don’t have to use it, you can just deactivate the plugin and use the budypress messages system.
Sorry to contact you yet again but I have one last question I hope you could answer (I’ve checked previous comments).
I understand BuddyPress does not include moderation tools and so you would need a plugin for that. Any additional plugins would require integration with your theme and is outside your support. I also know your team is focused on the next big feature update ( Woocommerce integration). Some older comments you mentioned implementing user suggestions. With all of this said, is there an update planned to include moderation tools before the end of 2021?
This is very important to ensure users do not upload “illegal” or other “offensive images” that would damage a community’s brand. These communities can become large and a user reporting feature helps to track and delete such content and users. I wish your team well.
We’ve sent the theme to the devs of the “Block, Suspend, Report for BuddyPress” plugin for them to make an integration, but we don’t have an ETA because they are the ones that are doing the development. Best Regards!

If that’s the case, sorry, but that’s not possible at the moment because BuddyPress is giving the theme features like allowing people to change profile info, avatars, covers, etc. Or do you wanna keep the profile pages but remove the ability of people to post status updates/have newsfeeds? - I know how to translate the theme. However, will a ‘switch’ become available in upcoming updates, so you may switch languages? Just like the light/dark theme switch?

- Sadly, there are no plans to add multi-language at the moment. - bbPress doesn’t have the option for that, only images and links, anyway, for things like that it’s recommended to host those files outside - Can you show us a screen of this? because we checked the live demo and we see all OK. Is this theme incompatible with font awesome? No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get my fontawesome icons to work and I know that I’m doing it correctly because they work on other themes. Is there a way to replace the icons on the theme with font awesome icons?

To keep the design style constant throughout the design, please remember that we included a list of different icons for you to select to, for example, change on the sidebar. I have checked your comment section and have yet to find a solution. I have installed your theme with all plugins, and I have ensured it is fully updated. Below are my issues:
1) There is no newsfeed. (no page, menu item, or location on the theme). 2) There are no icons for the left sidebar navigation menu items. 3) There are many features missing from your demo ( https://odindesignthemes.com/vikinger-dark/newsfeed.html ) such as: newsfeed sidebar widgets ( quest progress bar, stats, banner boxes), as well as user activity post – blog feed & polls. 4) Participant are not being displayed when leaving a comment.
All plugins within my Wordpress Network are up to date and I cannot see any options to enable a newsfeed or all of these other stat related widgets. I look forward to your email.

While most of the demo content was imported, key important features were not. The activity message does not allow you to add hash tags, insert gifs or add polls.
There are key “sidebar widgets” missing on the newsfeed like: Profile completion, featured badges, visual user stat box, groups tabbed by – newest, popular, active and a few other features. Then there is the overview page completely missing… This page beautifully displays all kinds of user stats that take your theme to the next level! Although, this much data could pose a major problem on large networks with limited server resources.
I would like to know why these features are shown in your demo but not included? Worse yet, they don’t appear to be listed in your roadmap or highlighted as currently not in the present build. There maybe a few plugins or toggles I’m missing so clarification on what features are actually being sold would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi drew577, we think that you are confusing the WordPress version https://themeforest.net/item/vikinger-buddypress-and-gamipress-social-community/28612259 with the HTML one: https://themeforest.net/item/vikinger-social-community-and-marketplace-html-template/25715500 please keep in mind that this are two different versions (if you check out the WP DEMO you’ll see that everything in the live preview is included), that’s why the first banner in the description says so: both versions have different features, for example, this one has a full gamification with credits that the HTML doesn’t have due to the WP capabilities. Your theme really does stand out above the rest which leads to wishful thinking when viewing the demos with the same name (future content planned or expanded functionality by additional free/premium plugins). People have asked you about BuddyBoss “Platform” integration recently. I want to pose a few specific questions for the benefit of people such as myself.
1) Are there any plans to integrate BuddyBoss Platform with your Vikinger Theme?
2) Many of us are not developers and so we have no idea how much time and energy need to be poured into integrating the BuddyBoss Platform. “If” your team was to work on this, what kind of timeframe would we be looking at ( 3 months, 6 months 1 year etc)?
3) We understand you do not offer any customization services. However, is it possible to hire a developer to integrate bare minimum features of your theme or the HTML version with the BuddyBoss Platform ( groups, messages, profile user data) etc? And (if you had to guess) what would be the average cost of such a job?
4) The BuddyBoss Platform and Theme offer a widget that shows your avatar and a drop-down menu of all it features (groups messages, profile, account). While your theme “does offer” the same functionality, it replaces the avatar with a plain gear icon which is not as appealing. Are there any plans to allows users to set their avatar image instead?

I’m no developer but I keep hearing BuddyBoss is better than BuddyPress in terms of performance. Can you give me an idea of how large of an active community bbpress and BuddyPress can support? I am well aware it depends on a good hosting provider but I want to avoid any poor code and support from locking me into a situation I cannot resolve without hiring a team of developers to fix.
