I just bought the theme and after setting it up, its still showing the default theme “prosilver”. Is FLATBOOTS compatible with phpBB 3.3.3 because that is the version on my C-panel?

so you need to go to ACP, Board settings and set the theme FLATBOOTS as default and checkmark the override for guests
Few points as well for you seeing as you are there,
1) did you install the BBcore? 2) did you install the Fancy Lazy topics loader extension? 3) register on sitesplat.com which is the dedicated support forum 4) make sure to check the docs even if it’s a quick reading

Hi WL, yup of course. A a matter of fact I’m the only author here on the phpBB section who support all phpBB releases. They are also all included in the main download.
When signing up, country time selection field appears. Can we remove this place? Will it automatically select the person’s region when we remove it? Is this zone time selection button mandatory?

Hi, after i installed Fancy Lazy Topics Loader when i go to enablet it i get this message: SiteSplat BBcore does not exist! Download the BBcore and copy the BBcore folder into your sitesplat extension folder. Before to install this i had no meesage..BBcore was just fine but after… And i have on top header when im logged in as admin this mesasge:

Pre purchase question. I currently have the Milk theme and enjoy the side bar and ease of customization if you will. I really like what I am seeing with your theme and am wondering if a few things are possible. Does this theme have a light mode/dark mode that is user selectable? Is it possible to add buttons for unread posts, my posts etc..? Can you add likes to posts? And finally is it possible to have a chat room for people to talk real time? Sorry for the long post, current theme is good but i need more and I am not a programmer.

make sure you use the file from the correct folder from your downalod. For example, “phpBB3.3”.
you will see all the different folders there that follow the main phpBB versions.

Hi, I am helping a friend who purchased this theme for a forum for a .org and its community. I have setup a staging site as to see if I can get this theme working away from the hosting provider.. but it’s completely broken. I have phpBB3.3.1, on php7.1 all the “REQUIRED prerequisites” and when I activate sitepslat I then get phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/ext/sitesplat/BBCore/event/listener.php on line 70: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given, at the top of the page and in the admin section, when I go to styles, the website completely fails. I am quite surprised this is so broken. I have been a member of this site for 10 years and purchased many themes for many sites over the years. This has been the only out of the box broken theme I have come across. What’s the story…
never mind, It was going back to 7.1, I missed installing php7.1-curl. this broke it conoletely. It should check for the plugins and fail gracefully. Still getting the warning in the debug, but thats not much of an issue..

The purchaser is busy and does not have the time, and I don’t have access to the purchase code. The site in question is http://isdcf.com/forum/ The problem in a nutshell is that certain TEXT areas are being displayed as a localisation replacement field. so where it would have text “Bootstrap Framework” it has “FLATBOOTS_INTRO” in its spot. Or the “BOOTSTRAP_VERSION” instead of “3.3.6”. I’m still trying to get access to the php error logs. You know whats its like trying to help .org organisations.

Hello, I used the Milk theme from Planet Styles and asked 2 Fiverr freelancers, on separate occasions, to customize the theme for my phpBB 3.3 website. For whatever reason, their theme results in a vertical alignment problem for all my categories and forums, meaning that, for example, a category or forum named,
U.S. Based Groups on Animal Welfare
appears as

or a category or forum, for example, named
Health, Medical, & Viruses
appears as
Health, Medical,
& Viruses
As stated, the same problem comes up even using 2 different Fiverr freelancers on separate tries to have my site customized with their theme. Do you think your theme will solve this particular problem?

let me be honest, as you are not the first person to run into issues either. I had to help many clients in your situation not only for customization issues but also for other forum issues raised with the use of their theme panel and sidebar extension.
The milk theme does not follow valid HTML standards, its a child theme that inherits from Prosilver (default phpBB theme) and many more Im not even going to bother listing…
Unfortunately it is sold as a premium theme and clients like you fall in that trap thinking they are buying a nice premium that is customizable and easy to interact with.
Second, Fieverr its a pretty bad site to get work from. Lots of bad actors there.
