Would love to discuss some small customizations.
I want the stream box on the users profile. It should just pull twitch ID from users profile entry. I also would like to include two additional social icons on their profile. Playstation and Nintendo
another cool idea would be to have a page of all user videos that show videos, trending user videos and where people can “sub” to a user.

Is it possible to change and redesign the algorithm the main feed(Activity Feed) shows posts and activities to each member(e.g. not only based on the time a post is published but based on users attributes, favorites and behaviors during the time)? if yes please guide me more on how to use it together with React Element embedded in the theme.

Thank you, Btw is there any predesigned WP plugin to personalize the feed surfing experience for the users just in order not to make them feel frustrated by scrolling forcefully to see every stuff posted since the very beginning every time they return back? If yes would you please mention it here?
(I’m specifically pointing to UX in terms of showing the users posts based on the recency, view frequency of the posts and also their willingness to see different categories of posts and subjects)

Doing this things in order is very important for the process as failing to correctly setup BuddyPress may lead to errors or styling issues. If you install the latest version, you can see all steps in the “Getting Started” tab

Hi, Awesome theme! Quick question: 1. can this theme have multi tier groups? For example Game A have a page of Group A1, A2, A3 and Game B have their own group B1, B2, B3 etc. 2. Is the group list have some kind of short code that we can use to display it in some other pages? 3. Can we add group information or 1 page of group info in group profile?

Hi zoinofrancesco007, that space if meant to be used with some logo, (like the vikinger logo) so it’s prepared for smaller ones (without text, almost square) in our latest update we added the option for adding separate logos, one for the loading page (which can be bigger) one for the login/register page (that can also be wider) and the smaller one (that need to be smaller). Hi! I love the new functionality to have partial access to website for not logged users. But it is possible to give more access without login? I mean… I want to give free total access to the blog (and so, posts and categories, not only pages). Also for SEO reasons. But maintaining the mandatory login for buddypress pages (personal profiles, activities etc…). Do you think it’s possible?

That’s because BuddyPress only has the option of social for members only, not groups. The group ones were manually coded and added by us. If you wanna add more you’ll need to do it via code. Regarding the 404s, please keep in mind that the demo import does it with the English names, so for example, for the newsfeed section, the sidebar newsfeed icon will link to “yoursite/activity” if you have it in another language, the link will appear broken. To fix this you simply need to replace the link via the menu tab https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NdLjVp4dT8 to lead to the correct activity page (the one you have in the pages section of the WP panel).
Anyway, if after this you continue having issues, send us an email to our support account and our team will assist you.

Hi frankgraper, sadly, there’s no frontend option, the WordPress blog feature works from the backend and they have an already really powerful editor with lots of blocks and features (and constantly getting updates).
If you don’t want to grant access to the complete backend features to someone, remember that you also have the option to give users the role of “Editor”, “Author”, or “Contributor” https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/ which allows them to write blog posts from the backend but “locks” some of the other features.

Are you planning on adding Moderation?
There are plenty of Open Source and Paid BuddyPress plugins available for Community / User Moderation that you can integrate with your theme at Low or No cost.
It’s super critical to have Moderation abilities to be able to ban / disable “Bad Users”, IP, etc. for the Admin to handle this Professionally.
Some times it can become a legal issue if people start uploading “Lewd Images”, NSFW or Illegal Digital Content, etc. into your community and Admin has no way of handling this from the Control Panel.
Please put some serious thought to this if you plan on people building large and safe communities using your software.
