Hi there, I just went in to edit a page in the backend and it’s blank. After speaking with my domain host we determined it was the “Grenada Gutenberg Blocks” causing the issue. Once deactivated I can go into the backend, but obviously I don’t have the blocks anymore, and everything is in code. Is there a way to fix this?

Mine is 1.0, I donwloaded and installed the latest Grenada child theme so as not to affect any customizations. But that didn’t change anything, maybe I’ve done it wrong and should create a ticket for you guys to help update everything to the latest version?

Hi there, the bottom ‘next project’ navigation is designed to include all portfolio items. Easiest is to hide it (CSS) or custom work to exclude some elements from the list. Thanks
Hi! Thanks a lot for your quick response! The CSS will hide all elements of the list. What I want is to hide only the one I removed from the sideshow, it is logical that if an item does not appear in the slideshow it does not appear in the list of projects either.

Yes, true, however when you enter a portfolio item page (which contains next project navigation at the bottom) you can come from a showcase slider, portfolio grid or some other page, so filtered items may be different.
In any case, we can help you hardcode the items to exclude in the next navigation code if you provide wp admin access in a private ticket on clapat.ticksy.com make sure we have full rights using Appearance -> Editor

I know I don’t have support any longer. But just noticed on my site, on this portfolio page below, even though the media in the Bar Raised, Friendship Goals and More than Medals section are supposed to be self hosted videos, it’s not letting me play them.
Where as the School of Excellence ones do play. Is this because of the way they are set up in the columns?

Hello, unfortunately there is little we can do in this regard, that area above the carousel on mobile responds to swiping by two elements: vertical page scrolling and carousel horizontal swiping. So if you swipe diagonally as I can see from the video these two elements will overlap. Thanks

Which .xml import is better to have the full experience as the demos (the gutenberg one or the wpbakery one) and if i choose the wpbakery is it necessary to add these classes from the documentation so everything looks the same as the demo? Does gutenberg have a visual builder also and are there any limitations if you go with it? Thanks.

Is there a way of forcing all images to retain the same width when uploaded in a portfolio image block? I’m uploading images that have the same width but different heights. I then apply the ‘full’ setting to each one of them and publish but when I view them on the live site, the widths of the images do not align in the column. It’s as though the height is affecting how they are displayed something. Any thoughts on why this might be happening?

How do you get the narrow text block (as shown on the Novaroom item – first para)? Mine just appears as full width whenever I add a text block with no way of changing the width of container. I’ve looked at the source code and it looks like the div has a ‘small” class associated with it but I couldn’t find a list of useable classes and I was hoping it would really just be a predefined block style. Any help would be great. thanks

Just purchased and setup the portfolio items but the links don’t seem to work. I don’t want the grenada_portfolio prefix to appear so I’ve altered the slug and the permalinks which should point to the correct page but I’m just getting a 404 error. Is there a way of just having the portfolio item link to the corresponding slug?

to… www.xxx.com/xxx

You can go to theme options -> portfolio options to change the custom slug. Just enter your own and after saving the changes go to Settings -> Permalinks and press ‘Save’ to refresh them.
In order to completely remove it you may want to use a plugin:

When I do that I get the 404 error still. What should the setting be on when I go into settings / permalinks? It is on custom currently (with the category shortcode in).
Your method does apply the new permalink to the home page slider but upon clicking, it doesn’t register that the actual portfolio item is situated at the new location.
Sounds like a pb with refreshing the permalinks. Go to Settings -> Permalinks and press ‘Save’ to refresh them. If the problem still persists plz open a private ticket on clapat.ticksy.com and provide wp admin access.
So, I tried it again but changed the ‘common settings’ to ‘Day and name’ which worked. It didn’t work with any of the other settings. Perhaps that’s a bug? Thought it would be helpful to share in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

hi, for some strange reason iframes/embeds are blocking page scrolling. I’m trying to add a youtube video, but since youtube embed is also using iframe, I can’t scroll the page while the cursor is hovering on it. Can you guide me to fix this? Thanks.

try disable smooth scrolling in customizer -> general settings. Since it hijacks scroll events it will not work over iframes since it cannot capture them (iframe can be considered as a different HTML document embedded in the current scrolling document). Thanks

‘Portfolio Template’ is not an option in the dropdown templates. All I have is Default, Blog and Showcase templates. So how to I activate that template or access it?
