I have import the data to wordpress but the featured thumbnail images are not showing up for the portfolio and journal site.

1. Try reselecting a post thumbnail.
2. If you are using a caching plugin, clear the cache.
3. Try disabling CDN

Hi, I managed to solve the URL issue but not the featured image. I do not have a cache plugin and could not find the CDN function.
When I import the theme data, the featured image was not showing already.

Try adding a post thumbnail manually.
And try disabling CDN (“Image Accelerator” by JetPack)

You can edit social links by going to Appearance->Customize->Theme Settings->Social.
I could not get it appear at the bottom left of the footer – just like your template. Thanks

Make sure the Kirki plugin is installed and activated. Then go to Appearance->Customize->Theme Settings->Social and add social media links. Screenshot

Try importing data using the WordPress import tool:
1. Go to Tools->Import and run WordPress importer

before I buy the theme I would like to know the following.
1. How does the site perform with a lot of image content? Does it load all in the beginning or are there any optimizations done to support a lot of content? 2. Is the main page duplicateable? Can I have the slider twice? 3. Can I have sub portfolios, meaning architecture & photography and both have their on page with an index. 4. Is there a style setup for submenus, as it’s not showing in the demo. 5. Can I use the gallery that you show in theme elements, also in the portfolio page or only in the journal page? 6. Scrolling is not working on the slider? I can write the .js function, but wondered whats the reason, that it’s not included. 7. The images are a bit too small on the phone, but I can fix that easily with css, or do you load the content in a special or hardcoded and fixed way?

1) The conversions from the cover to the image was feasible.
2- screenshots, I wonder if it’s easier/legal for me to provide you with the site URL. So you can see for yourself where images may be off particularly in mobile view and perhaps assist/instruct me accordingly. If screenshots are still the option I will do so later this week.
3,4) (social icons etc) I'm not fussed. I'm happy with the template default options. I'm no web developer. But have persisted and managed to get my site up using your template and instructions.Cheers Si

I have enjoyed working on this theme for my personal site.
Ive installed and its almost perfect.
The trouble I face are: 1) is the images on home 2 are not consistent in sizes 2) the mobile view of home page is a bit distorted and hard for me organise. 3) I cont seem to add instagram link to “share” function
Lastly, are there options to display social media as icons on page instead of words. -im not too fussed on this but just asking.
I hope to hear from you or better still to have you support which i trust more than external sources.
Overall I have enjoyed this theme and hope to use it to profile me long-term.

2. What exactly is distorted and hard organise for your? Can you provide a screenshot?
3-4. That’s impossible. However, if you are a developer, you can override the template file located at template-parts/global/social-sharing.php to change the text to an icon. Look at line 66.

I’m using a child theme and I’m trying to change some arrow icons. I have copied and modified “inc/classes/class-icons.php” in the child theme folder, but it’s not working. If I change the code in parent theme works, if I change the icons code in the child theme it’s not working.
How can I change the icons using the child theme?

You can change the font size with CSS. Go to Appearance>Customize>Additional CSS and add the following:

}

Just replace 4vw and 36px with your values.
