Hello, i love this theme! I have a question, when I add a new element like Gallery, it aligns it to the left and there are no options to center it. Can you help me center that item? The same thing happened when I added a video, it is aligned to the left and there is no option to center it.

Insert shortcode [sx_icon class=”fa fa-2x fa-facebook”] in the SX Section, then select it and create link via pop-up toolbar, or select existing shortcode. Just like create link from any text.

How can i update this theme with the latest version without missing my own design?
To update a theme, you usually need to uninstall the old version and install the new one in the admin interface, or overwrite all files using FTP. Site content and settings will not change. If you have changed the theme files, then you need to overwrite everything except the files that you changed, but there is no guarantee that everything will work correctly. In last update this files was be changed: assets/js/script-bundle.min.js, assets/js/script-bundle.js, assets/js/widgeta/video-bg.js, widgets/skrollex-video-bg-widget.php. You can try to overwrite only this files.
Looking to buy this theme.. but wanted to know if the builder is WP Builder or which one is it? thank you
All demo pages are made by the free version of Layers. The theme is also Gutenberg compatible. Gutenberg is the default WordPress editor. You can create pages in it as well and use blocks from the WordPress repository.

The theme is now loading super slowly on iPhone and iPad, it seems like the page behind the loading screen loads instantly but we still have to watch the loading animation for 8-10 seconds what is horrible. What can be the issue? link www.theblu.hu

Most likely the preloader is waiting for images or videos to load. If your mobile device has a slow internet connection, then this may be the cause of the problem.
All of our content is optimized already, and for me looks like all the content loaded and the preloader is just spinning for nothing. What else can cause a problem? is there any way to turn off the preloader?

My Wordpress site just updated to version 5.7.2. Now many of my backgrounds are not displaying. They are still in the SX Sections, but they are not displaying. I’d be grateful for any advice as everything looks terrible now haha!
The update seems to have impacted the Display Color Overlay for the sections. I’m readjusting them all. This may fix the problem.
The update could not affect this in any way.
I’ve had someone make a couple of changes to the code for my site, now I’m wondering if when I upload the latest theme update, will I lose the changes that I’ve made? For example, I moved the social media icons from left to the top menu bar. Will this revert back to original position when I update the theme?

If you changed the code in the theme files, then after the update the changes will be lost. All theme files will be overwritten. Site content and settings will not change. But you can try not to update the theme completely. You can try to update only assets/js/script-bundle.min.js, assets/js/script-bundle.js, assets/js/widgeta/video-bg.js, widgets/skrollex-video-bg-widget.php

You can use third party plugins for this purpose. In pages that are created using the Layers editor or presets, you can use plugins that work as shortcodes or widgets. In pages that are created by the standard WordPress editor you can use plugins that work as blocks or shortcodes. The theme has not been tested with such plugins, I cannot recommend a specific one.

Hi There. First of all, your theme is amazing and I’m very happy with it at the moment, great work !
Now, the site I’m building is for a music studio. I’d like to embed a soundcloud player in one of the SX Sections via the iframe code supplied. When I paste the code in source mode in the media block part of a column, the player shows fine. However it is resized to a certain height, and I can’t change it, even when changing the code in source mode.
If I embed a player for a single song, it’s perfectly fine, but if I try to embed a playlist, the player is “cropped” and it shows like a single song, the entire bottom part (the playlist) doesn’t appear.
It does appear correctly though in the media block rich editor preview, so the code is right, and I suspect it’s auto-formatted when displayed on the site ?

Your second screenshot looks like the problem is not with CSS. It looks like SoundCloud produces content in this format. If you provide a link to your page, then perhaps it will be clearer to me what the reason is.
You can see the SC widgets in the “Ecoutez notre travail” section.
Change <iframe... to <iframe style="height: 300px;"... in the embed code to fix this issue.

One last question, while I have you. Any easy (or kind of easy) way to increase the space / margin between columns ?
I’m just trying to make the site look less full, lighter to the eye. Exemple here: https://ibb.co/0ZpgSy3 (section “Notre Savoir-Faire”).So I have in this example 3 columns set at 8 of 24 width, then one 24 of 24 with the parallax image, then again one 24 of 24 with text and a button. Two things (maybe same or similar code required):
1 – adding empty horizontal space between the text columns and the image one.
Adding empty columns in between seems to do the trick but I understand it’s not ideal, so asking for another way… At other areas in the site, to add space between sentences in a paragraph I tried
in source mode but same, it didn’t work. Tried a spacer plugin, which also didn’t work, so I don’t know where to look.
2 – reducing the width of the image column for instance, I’d make it for instance 20 of 24 witdh and add 2 empty columns before and after, both at 2 of 24 witdh. Total width would be respected but again, empty columns ok ?

Change 28 as you want.Do not use empty columns to format your layout, as it can give unpredictable results on mobile devices or when resizing the window.

Theme is not tested with shopping plugins.
I have a client site that has used the Skrollex theme for several years. The host is now requiring a PHP update and when I perform this update past 7.2 it breaks all of the SX sections and serves a PHP error for outdated commands in specific code lines.
I’ve checked that my version of Layers is up to date and I’ve reinstalled the most recent version of Skrollex and it’s still creating the errors whenever I update past PHP version 7.2, any guidance for this update would be appreciated.

My website is very close to go-live (yesterday :grin). Just one issue hoping you can help me with.
On the page https://makeitcommunications.com/bookings/ if you click Buy Tickets you will notice that the next page loses it header section eg some css margin/padding kicks in and you are not able to click the No. of tickets dropdown.
I am pretty sure it is to do with my bad css which I put in place so that when you click on a menu item via # id it jumps to correct place and shows the header section correctly, which works ok for Home Screen but not with this bookings page and the iFrame. I am not sure how to fix this. If I remove the padding-top below the main home page does not work well.
eg .view > .fg { padding-top: 55px !important; }
.fg { padding-top: 0px !important; padding-bottom: 15px !important; }
Same behaviour occurs on the Home page at the bottom there is the booking iFrame

You should relocate page elements to enable either touch the content inside iframe and image will rotate, or touch page outside iframe and page will be scrolled.
Perhaps I did not quite understand what the question is. But I saw only one problem from your first link. The top of content area was overlapped by an invisible overlay, and for this reason the links, buttons, and dropdowns at the top of the iframe did not work. Now it is fixed via CSS.

When I click contact on menu then book it works as expected, it is only the behaviour of the Buy Tickets button or Next Button and dynamic loading of the html.

Ask a third party developer how to prevent this behavior. Third party scripts scroll the parent document so that the top of the iframe is aligned with the top of the browser window. Therefore, the top of the iframe is overlapped by the menu. I can only say that this is only done when the link in the iframe has #top at the end. It is not related to theme styles or scripts.
Most likely you will need to make some settings or maybe add custom css or script inside the iframe.
Also, I think that if you remove the scripts that are loaded from a third-party server in the parent document, then this behavior will disappear, but I do not know what these scripts are for. Perhaps something will stop working after that.

This is the response from Ticket Tailor. “The issue is that the your website navigation header is position: fixed and uses z-index property which places it above the normal rendering of the page. This is the reason you have to scroll up to see header in the widget. I’m afraid that this is not in our power to fix. Possibly the navigation could hide until the user scrolls? I wish we could help more but this is not something related to our product.”

but I cannot see where it says it does not work with fixed positioning navigation headers that use z-index. (I thought most menus work this way!)

Their product scrolls the page incorrectly, hoping that there are no fixed elements at the top. They can of course fix it if they want to. For example, they can add option to set indent. Because the parent document is scrolled, then only scripts that are loaded into the parent document can do this. And since scrolling occurs on a click inside the iframe, this can only be done by scripts that are loaded from the same domain from which the iframe is loaded. Theme scripts cannot access document within the iframe and cannot handle clicks within the iframe or change anything within the iframe. Browser security policies do not allow this.

You have error messages in the browser console “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404”. Too many images cannot be downloadedloaded from your site and from instagram. The preloader is waiting to load.
To view browser console in Chrome press Command+Option+J (Mac) or Control+Shift+J (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS).
Most likely your page contains images that have been removed.
It seems the theme has lost a lot of my images. They are no longer showing in my media library. Why would this happen? The images were mine.
The theme does not remove anything from the Media Library. This happened for some other reason.

Most often this is due to caching. Try disabling all plugins. If it does not help, then you need to look at what is written in the error log at the time of saving the data. Ask your hosting provider where to view the error log.
