I am thinking of purchasing this product. When I view the demo page on my iphone, the video thumbnails do not show up and are blank in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Is this a bug? Will it be fixed?

Hi 97429478, we just checked and the thumbnails on Chrome and Firefox and are showing correctly. Regarding Safari, please keep in mind that as mentioned in the description, the only compatible browsers at the moment are Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Regarding react, you’ll need react knowledge in order to customize it because you’ll need to make the changes via code. If you don’t have experience with this, then we don’t recommend it. About react I have a few customizations I want to do after I buy it, so I quoted a technician. I was told “code is in reactjs and only theme developers can modify that one. Is it possible to make changes to reactjs?

Hi boza44! We really haven’t tested what you are mentioning so we can’t say for sure. The feeds are powered by the BuddyPress plugin, but the theme doesn’t have that features that you’re looking for.( image previews) Please keep in mind that in any case, support can’t help with customizations. I mean, institutes should pay for creating accounts and let them introduce their course on their pages, and users ( Registered or not Registered ) can see or write a review about their course. An important thing is the ability to create a category for their courses and their institutes. I would be so happy if you tell me is it possible to do it with the theme or not or if you could help me with what to use.

1) I’m from Brazil, would it be possible to translate the theme into Portuguese? Would it be possible to do this through the source code or some plugin? (translate all content and not just part of it)
2) What is the difference between the following themes: [Vikinger – Social Community and Marketplace HTML Template] and [Vikinger – BuddyPress and GamiPress Social Community]
3) I saw that in the theme [Vikinger – Social Community and Marketplace HTML Template] some plugins are needed to make it work, are these plugins included or do I need to buy them separately?

Hi fabioazer! 1- The theme is translation ready, but you’ll need to edit the .po file (translation file) in order to do it. There’s no way to translate all content at the same time, you’ll need to translate the strings. 2- Please keep in mind that the HTML and WP are both different versions, each with different features. Each one has different pages and are in different categories, so please be sure to check the live demo of the version you want. HTML is generally for devs and the WP is for people that have WordPress knowledge as it’s required in order to customize the theme. 3- HTML is non-functional, so if you don’t have coding experience, we don’t recommend it as all changes must be made by customizing code. If you don’t have HTML or WP experience, then we don’t recommend any of the two. Best Regards!
Hi, great author. I got some questions when enjoying this great artwork. Question 1) In Demo, there are differences between the two achievement types, that is : unlocking quest may cause its icon image changing from a grey common one to a colorful unique one. while badge’s icon image is always a colorful one before and after being unlocked. Is it a GamiPress native feature that I can configure, or a special feature enpowered by the theme. Question 2) Badge icon is shown with each user listed on the members page, while quest icon is not. Does it mean, only the first/primary achievement type can be shown there? Expecting your reply. Thanks!
Hi mrgmrg thanks! Quests work like that as a feature of the theme, not GamiPress. Regarding showing badges, yes, they are the only ones that are shown, but remember that you can customize any way you want via the GamiPress plugin. Best Regards!

If you don’t want to grant access to the complete backend features to someone, remember that you also have the option to give users the role of “Editor”, “Author”, or “Contributor” https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/ which allows them to write blog posts from the backend but “locks” some of the other features.

You can verify your currently installed theme version in any of the theme backend pages and WordPress “Appearance” -> “Themes” page.
1) All GamiPress limit texts are available in the “vikinger/languages/vikinger.pot” file, update your localized files to get the latest version changes.
2) There is no error, as the changelog describes: “Fixed Twitch links being processed for embed on activity posts”. Support for twitch embedds will be added with the Twitch Integration update.

I download new files from themeforest now, then check theme – vikinger – vikinger – languages – vikinger.pot and open it PoEdit and search words weekly, yearly, monthly and Unlimited and no match, no anything… Your team say in email, that they add them in next update, but no, there is no these words in pot file and now you say all gamipress text is there, but guess what they are not

That is because you are looking for the wrong strings, you can see that the award limit strings are available in the latest version of the “vikinger.pot” file. We rechecked this and guess what, they are in the update! Here’s the proof:

Okey, now I update old pot to new one and I see that what you show in screenshot, but they are not same words, I still translated them and words weekly, yearly, monthly and Unlimited in english?
per month words is in admin, but in pages its monthly. So I quess they are diffrend words?

We accessed your site and noticed that you don’t have the latest version of the theme installed (v.1.6.4).
If you don’t update the theme to the latest version, you won’t get the changes introduced in it.
Please update your theme to the latest version, you can easily do it via the WordPress backend “Appearance” -> “Themes”, when uploading the new theme zip file you will be asked to replace with the updated version.

Blog post will remain from back panel due to the functionalities and updating features that the WP post editor gives. If you were looking for those features, then we don’t recommend it as it will require custom work in order to achieve what you need (and due to Envato’s Support Rules, we can’t help with customizations).
