Hi there, I originally downloaded the theme as the free file of the month while ago… I just installed it in my WP… Looking good so r fay but… is it possible to update to version 1.1 ? Another thing.. Menu is missing, I followed manual instructions adding css style, added to main menu and stuff but not working… any advice on this?

Sorry, for free downloaded items the updates and support is not included. The current version is 1.3 and that version is on our demo and it is running on the latest version of WP.
The only way to get lifetime updates and 6 months support is to buy a regular license.

All our themes are working with latest WordPress version and always must work. So, we will keep updating all our themes to work always with latest version of WP and PHP but we will not add additional features – themes will stay as they are.

If you are asking for a full blog page (https://demo.cocobasic.com/fabius-wp/demo-1/blog/) – that page is “hard” coded (it is not created using Page Builder) and some smaller changes can be done via CSS (I can help you with that).
But, if you want to change the layout (bigger modification) the only way will be to change source files or to try some plugin for that (plugin which will allow you to edit the Blog page).

Well, this is a problem. WHY is it “hard” coded? Shouldn’t you have allowed this to be editable, with Elementor as the rest of the site is, as you’re selling it to people with different needs and use cases? I shouldn’t HAVE to change the source files.. of which you didn’t bother to tell me what source files require changing… Furthermore, changing said source files would negate any further updates as the new files would overwrite my changes. Additionally, you did not provide a plugin recommendation which would do what you suggested. I need to you answer my original question as though YOU were asking the question. Fully, completely and without need for further questions.

It is email from Envato (from Envato server) and you should “fix” that – you may miss important emails from them (like theme updates alert).
I asked you to open a support ticket if you have more questions – you have ignored that.
In my previous post I have provide you a “generic” answer because I don’t know what EXACTLY you want to do with the blog layout. And if I don’t ask questions and get feedback from you – I can not help you (I still can’t read minds).
Case 1:
If you want just some small modifications (like to have 2/3 post items in the row) – that can be done with custom CSS and for this case you don’t need to edit any source files or to use any custom plugin.
Case 2:
If you want to do some bigger modification (to change order of title and featured image or something like that) – in that case you will need to change source files. You can make all changes in CHILD theme and you will lifetime safe from upcoming updates – it will not override your custom code.
Case 3:
If you want totally to change a layout, you can try some plugin for that (there are a lot of free plugins). One of them which you can try – https://wordpress.org/plugins/bloglentor-for-elementor/

1. New. The Ajax view of Portfolio items has stopped working. “Undefined” is displayed where the post should be. 2. Old. Is there a fix for the lower background circle yet?

1. It is fixed in latest version couple days ago (re-download from ThemeForest latest version).
2. It is not a bug. That is a “limitation” – the circle can not be lower than the lowest point of content on the last page. I don’t know how many section customer will have, what will be the order of the page, will the Contact be the last one, will he add more circles there and so on so on… Only point is that the latest circle should not be to far down/lower (you can move them more up via Elementor or just remove from there).
And that is all because the circles are not images, they are actually HTML elements (div’s) – on that way you can easy change color, size, move position, duplicate circles BUT on other side there is a limitation which I have explained above.

Sorry, no by default. There need to be done some CSS and JS modification. Also, maybe there will need to be done some more modifications about the layout it self because the section title (About, Service, etc…) is also placed by default on left side (vertical text) and there will be overlapping with menu.

You are uploading the wrong file. Unzip the downloaded file and search for THEME / fabius-wp.zip – that is a installation file which you need to upload.

It looks like the demo content is not imported at all. Check Dashboard > Pages and check if there is OnePage page. If not, try again to import demo content.
If the importing demo content fails, you will need to check with your server/host provider why you can not import demo content (probably it has to do with folder/file permission).

I had just once or twice same/similar situation and as I know the problem/bug was on client server side – if I am not wrong, it has to do something with file/folder (read/write) permissions.

Set a YouTube video and select Vimeo in select list. There is some bug (I am not sure if that is related to Elementor or to YouTube).

Hey! First off, thanks a ton for sharing this theme. I’m facing an issue – the section headers like “About”, “Blog” etc overlap with the content in that section. Is there a workaround to this? I played around with padding and margins, but that didn’t seem to work.

In theory, margins should be a fix for that but again you will a lot of “empty space” between sections.
Another solution is to try to use smaller font for headers.
Or at the end, to remove totally the headers and/or to create a new headers which will be “regular” (horizontal text, not vertical) on beginning of section.

All is there (plugins are inside the theme). When you install the theme you will get alert with required plugins and just need to install them and activate.
I am suggesting to try again (if you have some other our theme maybe there is some plugin conflict).

The blog page is default one (not part of Elementor) and menu on the right is “hard coded” there – that is the default (and the only place for the menu – it is not a sidebar).
Sidebar (widgets) area is placed by default in the footer (that is included with the theme). If you want to have one extra widget area below the menu (on the right side of the screen) I can help you to include that there.
