Ok, What I want to do, is to use the “contact” template ( or any other template, for example “blog”) with a Sidebar, but when i add a Sidebar from “select Sidebar” nothing comes out. Only way i can get a sidebar is using the template “page with Sidebar”
I dont knot exactly how to explain it on a screenshot
You have to add widgets to sidebar using Appearance > widgets

I understand the customization for the gallery thumbnails is a little more complicated, but can you at least point me in the right direction. I’ve had some success modifying the screen.css and custom.js files but the last thing is just some blurry issues with the thumbnail images now.

I agree with JMC1973 saying that special character was supported in the last version of your theme. I did not change the font since then. So I don’t think the problem come from the fonts itself but more like a .php or script file opened not as an UTF8 and saved then. (i’m not a document encoding specialist but just trying to solve this)
I’ve tried to remove line 61 from the wp-config to see what happened. The font in the slider of the home page appears correctly when i do that but makes all other special characters of the site f* up. (Hope this infos will help)

I deactivated the theme and then deleted it like you said. Then I downloaded the 1.8 version. But now the dk.zip will not load? I can figure it out, is there something I am missing?

Sorry theme custom font is not support your language characters.
Anyway, I think you should fix it, because it is not notified in the theme’s specifications, neither the help file.
And before the last update there wasn’t a problem.

Whenever I select full screen with caption option for the home page it crops the image that i have in the gallery, how do I avoid the crop?
Open DK admin > Blog Portfolio > Enable/disable auto fit image to screen (if select Full Screen template) and disable this option.

Which version of theme you have?
I am using DK version 1.8 and my WP is version 3.4.2. I am seeing this problem on multiple browsers, so I don’t think it’s a plugin issue. Please advise, thanks.
Well demo site has DK version 1.8 and WP 3 .4.2 too and it works fine, you saw before purchased so I don’t think it’s theme issue. Make sure you update theme correctly or do FRESH install for Wordpress and theme.
In the manual/index.html file, it states the following re: creating a gallery:
“First you have to create a gallery. From your admin sidebar, open Galleries > Add New. You will get add new gallery form. Enter gallery title and description then click “Publish”.
Now you have 1 empty gallery. Next you have to add images to this gallery. From gallery admin page. Click on “Add New” next to “Gallery Images” text.
Then select images you want to upload to this gallery…”

1. When I am in the wp-admin console, I have a left menu section/widget entitled “Galleries.” Does everyone have this? Is this part of the DK theme, or is this a part of core Wordpress?
2. I can create a new gallery in here no problem. But Clicking “Add New” to add images to the gallery does not work. Clicking the “Add New” button does absolutely nothing. Why? (I turned off my pop-up blocker, so that’s not it.)
