@Crumina, Thanks for your provided solution, but that wont work either. No blogpage was setup under settings/read screen. Seite has blog template assigned. Any changes to grid style via customizer have no effect.

Then probably you have individual settings in the metaboxes of your blog page. Edit the page and check if you have some layout chosen under the Blog Options tab https://support.crumina.net/help-center/articles/69/70/291/blog-page#blog-options

customizer -> blogstyle -> layoutoptions are not working properly. The layout stays in classic style, the other options (grid etc) are not working. Can’t update the theme to our clients with these issues.

You should remove your blog page from Settings>Reading>Posts page dropdown section https://prnt.sc/1dtmflj . When you select some page there, the default WordPress blog layout is applied and you can’t change it in the theme options. It is not a theme bug, but a WordPress feature.

We are asking for Support, and “Crumina” instead of fixing the issues, says to us “I don’t know which question to start with….It seems you have a hard time adjusting the theme. Probably it doesn’t meet your requirements and you would like to look for some other theme.”
1. We are NOT having hard time adjusting your theme. 2. The problem is your theme has MANY ISSUES. 3. So, instead of fixing your issues, they would rather NOT fix the issues, and then say its MY fault because I dont “know the theme”. – INCORRECT.

Unfortunately, we can’trecommend any of paid membership plugins. Social network functionaity is provided by the Youzify plugin in the theme. It would be better to ask this question its authors https://codecanyon.net/item/youzer-new-wordpress-user-profiles-era/19716647/comments

We need to know what exactly you are doing when the error occurs. It seems you are trying to edit a non-editable page with WP Bakery page builder https://support.crumina.net/help-center/articles/69/72/456/non-editable-pages
If I am wrong, please submit a ticket and provide us with the detailed information how you get the error. Also please send us your website URL with your WP-admin login and password to let us check your settings.

by the way, i switch the WP Bakery page builder off, I just use Elementor but I think the issue is not related to the editor.
Ok, it looks like a Youzify bug. We will have to report it to the Youzify author.
Anyway, please submit a ticket by this link https://support.crumina.net and include your server error.log in it. We need it to report the issue to the Youzify author.

There is NO “utouch.zip” in our downloadable files!

I see you own Olympus instead of Utouch. Did you mean the Olympus.zip? Any way, the installable zip is located inside the “Theme in that folder” directory. Such folder structure is the same in every Crumina theme. I hope this time your update is trouble-free. As from the last 5 months, every update brings the problem. Now I am scared to update. Till now no smooth experience. I feel buying your theme is like that I bought problem which keeps me busy to solve the problems after updates. Waste of Time and waste of money.

Hi It’s possible to get feed section like instagram style only posts instead all activities like group created , cover photo changed. Using ur theme
In members section any options there to sync contact , and find suggest frds .

You can limit the feed to display only posts. It will be more like a Facebook style. So you can have media and text in them. There is also a sidebar in the feed by default, that is impossible to hide within the Youzify settings.
As for the members section, there is no option to sync contacts.

1. Yes, it is possible to limit post types in the feed within the Youzify settings.
2. There is a Youzify “Friends Suggestion” widget in the Appearance> Widgets section.
3. Unfortunately, there is no such feature in the theme.

1. There is no such functionality in the them by default, and unfotunately, we don’t know, how to make it possible.
2. You can upload any type of images, including GIF, but most likely animation won’t work, as images are getting resized.

It use page builder blocks for youzer/buddypress sections or only in pages?
Gutenberg can be used with no problems or it will have some incompatibilities?
It’s possible to make private the community so that non registered visitors can’t access to the “social layer”.
We plan to use it with wpml multilanguage plugin, you know if there’s some incompatibility?
You have some list of plugins that are incompatible with this theme?

No, there are no page builder blocks fr youzify and buddyPress, only for regular pages.
There must be no problems with Gutenberg. It is compatible with the theme.
Yes, you can make community private with the content restriction option.
The theme itself should have any incompatibilities with WPML. But we can hardly imaging how it would work in the social pages. There may be issues with BuddyPress. But we haven’t tested WPML with it, so we can’t be sure at 100%.
No, unfortunately, we don’t have a list of incompatible plugins.

As we know Youzify or BuddyPress authors don’t have plans for implementing such a feature. That’s why it won’t appear in Olympus in nearest time.

one more theme update with error as always. keep getting notifications to update extension even after updating the extension
Thanks for your comment. Please note that theme update is not related with extensions update. It’s two separate processes. Update extensions one more time and I believe issue will be resolved.
