You can see on the article pages in the demo that there are many social sharing buttons (more can be enabled/disabled) that allow your users to share them on social media. ThemeForest standard license gives your lifetime updates, but you have to renew support to get help or ask support related questions after 6 months (you can learn more here).

And yes, all demos shown on the live preview of CheerUp are available with the purchase.

By default, it will take on the main color set in Customizer (accent color) and you can set it for your site. Our support can also help you set it to any different color you want if you don’t wish to attach it to main/accent color. But we won’t be able to help change it per item individually (it will be the same for all items).

By default you can use ads in header when using one of the many header styles that support them, in the sidebar, in the footer etc. If you want to go advanced, you can build the homepage fully using WPBakery (see Magazine and Lifestyle demo for example) and even insert ads between blocks of posts. For articles, if you want to place between paragraphs, WP Insert and WP Advanced Ads plugins are both supported.

All themes on Envato Market follow the same Standard license that allows single website per license. The only exception is when there are subsites that are part of the sub-sections of the same network, for example, food subdomain of the main magazine site.

So in short, one license allows usage on one site.

Thanks for writing to us. As per our legal consultant, the Instagram widget isn’t a problem as Instagram CDN itself is compliant with GDPR. We may implement the feature in future, for other reasons. Google Fonts is also compliant but a few have raised doubts about it. However, this can be addressed wit the Self-Host Google Fonts plugin as mentioned in docs. However, since we can’t provide legal advice, you will have to consult your own on the matter.

thanks for your response. Is it possible that your legal consultant will share a bit more in detail why the Instagram CDN is compliant? The problems here are no different than with Google Fonts. If the website queries the Instagram CDN, Instagram/Facebook will get access to the visitors IP addresses, which is personal information according to GDPR and requires consent. Also there is no data processing agreement with the Instagram CDN.

I think in order to be sure, the same logic need to be implemented for your theme, like other Instagram widgets are doing (like Instagram Feed Pro, they only show locally cached images, until the user clicks on the cookie banner: https://smashballoon.com/doc/instagram-feed-gdpr-compliance/). Or in case of doubt the Banyard IG widget need to be disabled to be really GDPR compliant.

You mentioned you may implement that. Is that foreseeable in the near future?

If you’re looking for a special bbPress integration, sorry we don’t have that in this theme, so it will just use the plugin default styles. You can take a look at our other theme SmartMag which has bbPress integration shows a forum example under features menu on the live previews.
