After updating the theme I try to update the included plugins like WPBakery Page Builder. These should be included and could always be updated via Appearance – Install Plugins. Now it says: “Automatically updates for the plugin are available to the clients with a valid support period – you can renew it here. To update manually, visit our customer center to download the latest version.”
Manually updating is not an option, because as a webmaster I manage the updates for my clients and I don’t have access to their customer center accounts.
Why did you block these updates via WordPress?
You must have a valid support package to update theme and all required plugins via your WP dashboard + get support. If you don’t, then you can download the latest theme version in your account here on TF and update it manually.
We don’t need support, only the “future updates” that are included and were always available via WordPress. You chose to block it to make extra money. That’s a change of conditions.
Ans I already explained, that manually updating is not an option, because then my clients have to do that themselves, while they hire me for updates, so they don’t have to worry about it.

Previously it was always possible to update the included plugins via Appearance – Install plugins after updating the theme (using the Envato Market plugin). Now you require the clients to get a support subscription to perform these updates. So that has changed. If this was unintentional, please fix it. If it was intentional, please explain!
It’s not our plugin “Envato Market plugin”. We never changed the terms, they always were the same. We’ve already explained.
The Envato Market plugin is an official Envato plugin (as you might have guessed from the name) and can be found here: https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/
It’s used to update the themes and plugins that are sold via Envato (like you are doing). It needs an active license where updates are included.
This always worked until you changed the update process by cutting out the possibility to update the included plugins.
Saying you have explained, while you didn’t, doesn’t make you right.

Can you please update the changelog when you publish an update of the theme? Latest version is 2.1.6, while the changelog stops at 2.1.4 on https://help.gt3themes.com/soho-pro-photography-portfolio-wordpress-theme/?section=changelog-sohopro

This was not a caching issue on my side. You just added the info for 2.1.6 and should say that you did instead of blaming the browser cache. The info for 2.1.5 is still missing.
It was intermediate update without global changes. All the changes are included in the version 2.1.6
Is this the most recent update – 2.1.3 ? I have encountered several bugs namely vids not playing & header tabs not being able to be clicked OR when clicked, a black overlay screen pops up. My developer has been assisting me on this but I’d like an answer back before I purchase another support/license.

It shows an update BUT there is NO UPDATE button. WP Bakery is still failing to update…SMH “the issue is for theme it’s showing that the update is available but no update is showing.”

Will it be possible to update to the latest version and keep all of the previous content/edits in place. I haven’t edited any theme files. Hi I’m looking to set a full width column in the footer via the widgets configuration. I select a 100% column inside the footer, but it always create a column with the class “vc_column_container vc_col-sm-3” instead of “vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12”, occuping only one part of the fotter, not all of it.

That is unfortunate. Other theme designers are more flexible and provide updates for the integrated plugins faster.
Before release a theme update we have to test the new plugin version compatibility with our theme. It can take some time to do that.
And please note that it’s not correct to claim that someone does something and others don’t. We do such things that other designers don’t. Thanks for understanding.

Hello! You would not get a benefit from any freebie because to get theme updates, support etc you must have the license code. Freebie means a temporary test drive for the product.
Other Authors give full updates. I have tested a lot of freebies wordpress themes over the years but never faced this “asking for the key thing”. anyways…
