I just tried to upload the zip file for my shopify store, and it says: zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template “layout/theme.liquid”

No need to worry, extract the file you downloaded from ThemeForest.
In this package include: guides, licensing, samples data and source. You need choose one of all options which you want in SOURCE folder and set up for your website.

YourTheme_v1.0.0.zip.
Step 2: Click folder
YourTheme_v1.0.0, and then click folder Theme-Packages.
Step 3: Click folder
source and select file .zip you want.

I keep receiving this error “theme error found. The following error was found in assets/engo-customize.scss.liquid Issue detecred: stylesheet took too long to compile. Update theme code to decrease compilation time. Contact your theme’s support team to fix this error”. Thanks for your support

Hi, Q1: I have some issues with the Color option. I want to add Tortoise and floral as a color option so that I can filter my products. But I think the Stera theme has no color option for tortoise. So I want to set my png picture as a background. But I don`t know how to manage this.
Q2： I want to add another filter option with pictures. Is that possible? I wanna name it as shapes.

I think I had some issues with login and registration. It reporting a CORS policy error after I add my domain. Homepage allows only 25 sections, you need to delete the sections to have add more sections

In the envato page, said it contains the html and css files, and only have the liquid files.. I dont want to use the shopify app, I want to adapt teh html files in visual studio

All themes must render to html, css, js to display in the browser. In this case, Shopify’s .liquid is a .html in your browser.
Also, in the theme-packages there are guides offline with .html, .css..js file!

You just need to upload the theme .zip with the homepage you want. It is exactly like our demo (layout, functions, color…etc)!
