I am testing the beta theme on my new SEO Books website https://seobooks.net/ . The speed upgrade is reticules good :D

I have found a few problems, once I edit a product and i go to my website i get server error 500, this is usually fixed after few seconds. And another problem i have found, when i enable php 8 i cant upload product images nothing happens when i click change image.

Hello… I’m reading your excellent documentation and in “Product Assignment & Product Rules” you say…: “NOTE Since version 3.0.32 new options for Min Stock and Max Stock have been added. You can now fine tune…” There is no such option in your demos with version 3.1.8. Only Min & Max Quantity. I was hoping that there is an option that don’t allow the customer to put more products in the basket that I have available in stock… Is there such an option elsewhere ? Thank you…

Min/Max Stock options are present in the product rules, but these only dictate what products to show in that Products Module. The option has nothing to do with products added to the shopping cart.

But Opencart should have option to disable checkout for out of stock products in Opencart > System > Settings > Options > Stock Checkout…

I was hoping for a stopping mechanism in the product page… A mechanism to prevent the customer to add the 6th item if I have 5 items in stock…

That isn’t available natively unfortunately.

hi there, I’ve been waiting for the new version for the last few months. Do you know by when the skins will be adapted to work with the new version? Also: I have 2 licences for journal, but with expired support. I want to update 1 site with the new version. The developer would first install it on his pc and server so it is adapted for my shop, and tested, before switching it to the main domain. would it work ok? and can I just extend the support once you’ve got the skins working with the new system, or is it better to pay extra and get the new licence?

Please don’t count down to any specific date. We want to be absolutely clear there is no specific dates for any demo release, just rough estimates which can shift.

If something can be released earlier the better, if not it will happen when possible.

As you said 8 days ago “a month at most”, which means ‘not more than a month’, hence it was rather specific. Not really believable based on how long it’s been taking you, but I hoped that this time you would keep it, since you were rather specific with the time by which it would be ready

I know but it’s not just up to me, there’s much more work behind the scenes and too many factors the relesease depends on. So estimates are estimated, can be earlier or later, but do check back, we will update periodically.

i had downloaded Fluxstore Pro then i install there extension in my website, after that i don’t want to use this extension, i had deleted it , but after deleted i see my website arabic version have problems 1- in language menu the flag had changed and the arabic text is double 2- i see in arabic version the website is not change to RTL 3- beside the price is write this text (110decimal_point00) 4- in arabic version some texts are hidden or show in english

please how to restore my website again or you can check it if still have some files of Fluxstore extension

Hi, unfortunately we can only provide support for default Opencart implementations, we do not cover other 3rd party extensions compatibility. You should consult with the extension developer or use Journal on a clean Opencart setup as it fully supports RTL in the storefront.

how i change email field to non-request ?

Hi, we don’t understand your question but if you’re asking how to make the e-mail field not required on the register page that’s not possible, email is the one used to create accounts and log in.

I want the email field on the order page not to be non required . On the chekout pag Not all my clients have an email address

There is no such option in Journal nor Opencart, removing email field may break the checkout mechanism, please consult with an Opencart developer for more information about this.

Hi, I am trying to find where the translation for the countdown of the discounted price is. I found on journal where it says “the offer expires in” in the product card but i am looking to change the “day” “hour” “min” “sec” to another language and i cannot find where those are.. can you help me? thank you

I am using cloudways server with 32 GB Ram and 7 TB bandwidth still site is taking lot of CPU usage.

I had installed opencart lightning trial plugin but seems that is also not happening.

Currently there are more than 2Lacs products and many categories as well.

Please suggest if opencart lightning is useful or default opencart minifiers can help.

Also how can i reduce the CPU utilization.

waiting for v 3.2, when it will be publishing? Actually Im planning to re-publish my site with uplcoming new version.

It will definitely come this month, but again you can use the beta as it will be a continuation of that. The only reason for the delay is the recreation of all demos on the new version – that is not quite easy to do but the underlying theme engine is the same.

Hi, that will only be available in our new Journal 3.2 version, currently in beta. We still don’t have a release date but it’s coming very soon.

Hi, I have removed “add to cart”, “wishlist”, “compare” buttons from the thumnail grid but I can still see them in the source code. How can I remove them from the admin login? Hi, those are only hidden from view and we cannot provide custom code modifications, but the core file for the product listing is in: catalog/view/theme/journal3/template/journal3/products.twig

Hi, based on the reported issue we can’t say what it is without looking at the store, you need to provide a link to the page in question.

But most likely there is some interference from other extensions or caching. We would have to troubleshoot all these possible interferences because there is nothing wrong with the slider, this issue is isolated on your end so 99.99% is caused by other factors.

Yeah update seems to be improvement, but next generation thing are with SVG, include support to add inline code to add for icons or banners, I know there is RAW HTML thing but specially add for icons.

Also there should be DEMO 12 which include are new changes and it should be so much perfect e.g. you can make demo of AMAZON.

How can we get support on our forrest theme when we do not have our purchange code… Third party has made the extension on our site and not given the code to us.

When ‘add to cart’ or ‘buy now’ button is clicked, the button is stuck with perpetual ‘loading’. I know it’s not a standard problem but here is what I captured from Chrome that I believe is the cause:

I have disabled all installed extensions and when I search for gkdEctTrack it appears that Journal 3 is what this gkdEctTrack refers to. Any ideas?

Solved. gkdEctTrack is Complete SEO Pack. When Google Analytics is opened on the extension this error would occur
