Hi, congrats on the theme! Do you know why the slider stopped working and also the hero photo on posts? this happened since last update. sliders just show a gray background and the loading circle forever. Thanks!

Hi, my author’s profile pics aren’t showing up in their bios on each blog post. It’s just a blank screen. I contacted Gravatar and they said it was a theme issue. Is there a way to fix it?

But I can confirm that Gravatar works fine with the theme. They just palmed it off as a theme issue as it’s easier to deflect blame so you ask someone else instead of really investigating what the issue is

Another question for you, you answered to a post that there would be a way to save individual Tipi blocks and load them in another page (rather than exporting the whole page layout), and it would be added to V4. I’ve looked everywhere but no luck, has it actually been added?

Thanks for the latest update, it fixed some of text display issues with the Dark/Day mode view, but other parts remain affected:

Yeah this is actually a bigger issue than it seems, basically if you set a site to be dark by default via theme background options, etc, and then you want to give visitors an option to change it to light, it’s a lot more complicated than having a light site with dark mode. This will be patched up eventually, but it will take a bit longer due to the complexity!

Hey Chris, the thing is, I didnt change the background to dark since I imported the demo layout and tackled it as is, I wanted to make sure it adheres to the Dark/Light switch option, so yes the default layout should at least be compatible with the switch view mode, but if the users opt to set their backgrounds to dark mode, ten they’ll have to deal with the outcome.

Thanks for checking out Zeen – the Robots Homepage specifically is a Tipi Builder exclusive layout and can’t be done in Gutenberg. However, if you use Zeen Robots and use Tipi Builder on the homepage, you can still use Gutenberg on all other pages/posts if you desire.

Is there a way to have the page editor use the background color of the website? I have an issue where the text is VERY hard to read in edit mode because my theme is quite dark and the default Wordpress block editor has a white background…

For example, in your Volar demo, on the left side of the header you have 3 social media links: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. What if you want to add a link to a Flipboard magazine? In this case you will need a Flipboard icon and an option to add the link for it.

Hi! Just wanted to ask that the theme does minify CSS, JS, HTML. Should I disable it if I’m using Cloudflare’s Auto Minify or can they both work fine together?

The theme can only use its own minified JS/CSS files. You should use both options as a theme can’t (shouldn’t!) try to minify plugin or other external files.

The theme hasn’t been officially tested with that plugin, but I’m sure it’ll work fine. If you have any issues with Zeen + the plugin, you can open a ticket in the Codetipi support system and it’ll be looked into and fixed if possible.

Hi I hope you can help. Zeen seem to be messing up big time. This is particularly after new update and with the Tipi builder. I have been trying to edit pages but I am not allowed to add any text or try to save edits at all. I have numerous screenshots to show you but there is no way of uploading it here. I cannot open a support ticket as my support expired and have to beg for support here. I am trying various ways to see how it can be resolved and tried in 5 browsers and does not work at all. I have tried to add a headline, quote or anything where text is, but the editor does not even show. Clicking in the text space just does a wonky dance and the block jumps around on the page. I have tried editing the search bar to change its colour, but I cannot do that either. Additionally images does not show or selective images shows when its convenient for them. I cannot colour text or fonts and just a mess for now, and beyond frustrating… Please advise and assist in this regard. My thanks

I then again tried to open a support ticket and voila – same response “Sorry, support for this Envato Market purchase code has expired. You will need to extend support or purchase a new license”. NEW BUYERS BE AWARE: So you are saying I am stuck with a valid purchased product but if I do not pay you more I cannot get help with a Theme that is not working on my site. I hope YOU who read this, learn from this experience in deciding if it is worth buying this Theme and 6 months down the line you are stuck if something goes wrong. This is the problem with developers and greed. YOU NEEDED US to get you to this point and now that you have your 4000+ sales we are ok to be discarded because new suckers will buy your theme on the reputation we helped you built. If this was a pre-sales thing you would have jumped through hoops. It is beyond unprofessional and downright disgusting and after 25 years of doing this, it is my first time devs wont even offer an iota of insight of what could be causing the tipi builder to not work. It is only you that can solve this and there are thousands of developers who offer their support unequivocally for even the thousands of free Wordpress plugins. I hope this ends with a consideration for your loyal customers, of which I have been – and it helps to change your mind for New Buyers of your Theme.

I’m sorry you feel this way, but this is Themeforest support policy – nothing to do with Codetipi.
With that being said, the theme and Tipi Builder are working 100% well on the demo sites, as well as the local development sites and no other users have reported the issue you describe, so it’s highly likely an isolated issue on your site and needs to be investigated. It is impossible to do that type of thing via this extremely basic comments system – which is why there’s a proper support system ( https://codetipi.ticksy.com ) with advanced features to make support possible such as threaded conversations, private responses to share sensitive credentials, upload attachment/screenshot features to quickly show things, etc.
As well, it’s important to keep in mind that a huge percentage of user reported issues are not due to the theme, that’s why they need to be investigated properly to know the source of the issue. This is why Themeforest support policy is the way it is.

Hey there, loving the Woo options, I see Product Categories are now in the Woo Filter, that’s great as it was a request I made, but the Filter itself could still do with a few improvements:
-Every use of the Filter reloads the Shop page and closes the Filter, is it possible to just have it change the results in the background in “real time”, so to speak?
-I am not able to change the language of the “Close(X)” text in the upper right of the Filter overlay. A simple cross like the one in the Mobile Menu would be much better.
-In the Widget area there is a Widget called Active Product Filters that can be inserted in the Woocommerce Filters Area, but one appears by default (in English) at the top of the Filter overlay when a selection is made, and you guessed it, I cannot change the language of this one either.
-Having colored circles in the Filter Products by Attributes filter as an option would be great, as “Color” is a very common attribute.

Currently you can add the “sponsored” tag to the front end of a post, at the top, indicating that the content is a sponsored post. However, we would like the similar yellow tag on the front end of post lists and grids. As we run a news website, it is important that we differentiate between sponsored and non-sponsored content.
Also, it is possible to change the text of the “sponsored” tag, and also the tag colour? Lastly, the sponsor logo that you can upload doesn’t have a limitation or a styling per say. Can we set it such that its a fixed sized, round in shape and all? Its fine if its not possible, but was hoping to render similar to how you have shown the article.

Thanks for checking out Zeen and apologies for the delayed response.
The theme doesn’t have any automatic news aggregator functionality out of the box, so you will need a plugin to achieve that. Any News Aggregator plugin that works on the default theme (TwentyTwenty for example) will work the same on Zeen – so if you have a favorite plugin, test it there to know if it’ll work in Zeen.

I have a simple question. On the homepage of the Wild demo, I am using your full screen post layout, which is beautiful by the way. However it looks like it is darkening the image a tad bit. Is there a way to not darken this? I can’t find it in the Tipi Builder options. Maybe a CSS code I can paste for this?

By post type, do you mean standard/gallery/video/audio? If so, yeah the theme is compatible with those post formats and you just need to set it to the desired one when editing the post. The option is in the Gutenberg right sidebar, or in the classic editor publish metabox.
If you want to change the layout of a particular post, then yeah, just scroll down to the Zeen Options metabox > Layout tab. In there you can change the width and whether to show a sidebar for the post/page.
