Great Theme, thanks. the flex-direction-nav don`t move back if different sized imgs (horizontal and vertical imgs) are uploaded. Is there any solution?
I see you’re out of action at the moment, so this request isn’t urgent, but just wondering if I can somehow fix the following problem: when I go into a blog post, the post heading is cramped up right close to the top of the slider images and is also aligned to the body text below, rather than the image of the slider images, so the placement looks very odd. Can I add some CSS to change the blog heading so that it sits below the slider images, above the body copy of the post? I found the code in the Editor and made the changes to ‘Send us a mail’ so problem fixed. You may want to change the code so it reads ‘Send us a message’ – just a suggestion

another thing i’m noticing – sometimes when i add a portfolio item…. when you click on the thumbnail – it says “no posts found” am i directing it to the wrong place? www.sugarandtype.com/portfolio
This happens because of your permalink settings. I guess you have some page and some category with same slug. You should change permalink settings, or change slugs of these items…
i had a page that had the same slug – so i changed it – but it still doesn’t show….. any thoughts?

no, normal blog posts should work just fine.
Just to be sure if this is slug related, try to use default (ugly one) permalink settings and if there is no “no posts found” message it is 100% slug/permalink related.

Images should be added as Extra images and they will be shown in the slider on right hand side…

images should be at least 627pc wide. You shouldn’t worry about their size, because this theme is responsive. Of course, best practice is to have all images same sized

there’s a black bar (good) but then there’s a smaller bar within the black bar – do you see that? (sugarandtype.com)

this smaller bar is for widgets too. It’s ideal for Text widgets with copyright info or similar…

In the single portfolio page view (i.e. after you have clicked the link from the album) the photo displayed is enlarged. My original photo is 500px but is being enlarged to what looks like 600px. Can I control this somehow?

sorry, but no. This is responsive template, so every image is 100% wide. Only solution is to upload bigger images (627px at least for portfolio Extra images)

Firstly great template. I have a quick question. I like the top menu with the page scrolling under but when the scroll activates I d like to header bar to be 105 pixels because my logo has a lot of text. I cant see it in style.css where to set the height of the headerbar

I m editing locally.
Is the very top menu and I have activated “Show Pinned menu on scroll” in the theme panel.
When I scroll the page down the logo is bigger than the headerbar? Your logo size is 35 px mine is 100 px. I took off the margin-top for the logo and made it 5 px not 35 but I m stuck I can not work out how to change Show Pinned menu on scroll height?

It’s very hard to test theme with so many plugins In my opinion you should ask plugin creators why it doesn’t work with our theme.

ps: funny thing is everyone thinks I’m on some tropical beach where I enjoy drinking cocktails .
Truth is I’m in the hospital waiting for knee surgery (which is also cool, because I’ll be able to go to tropical beaches (and run in the sand) in the future )

I have just started putting together a clients website using your theme. It has been going pretty smoothly, however, I am having troubles with making a custom sidebar.
Using text widgets, I have some text, then a border divider, then I want to have an image as a link.
The image appears and the link works using the coding I have put in, but the footer gets “sucked up” underneath the image??
Here is a link to the page that the issue is with http://enlighteningfilms.com.au/about-us/Not sure if it is the coding or the wp template that is causing the trouble.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

From the source I can see some extra unclosed DIV tags which breaks the layout. Have you used shortcodes in Text widget? It looks you can’t use it in our theme and I’ll try to figure it out.
