Hello, I have enjoyed making a website with your great WordPress Theme! Your portfolio navigation system is great too. But I would like to decide which portfolio page to appear on each page. There are only two options for us now, “Backwards” or “Forwards”. Could you tell me some CSS for that? This system is a very good idea when we want to lead customers to other pages naturally. But, it would be much much better if we would have chosen which page to lead on each page.

This is something not achievable via CSS and has to be implemented in PHP when we’re querying DB for prev/next posts in file /wp-content/themes/rhye/template-parts/nav/nav-portfolio-auto-scroll.php I’ll consider this feature for the next theme update. I guess I can make it the same way we override header/footer styles per specific page (via Elementor Document Settings panel).
For now you can use this plugin Intuitive Custom Posts Order. It does provide a convenient way to sort posts in admin panel and virtually you can decide which portfolio post will be considered as “next” for the bottom navigation.
Hello again! I’ve implemented the manual posts selection feature for bottom navigation in the latest theme & core plugin updates. Please make sure to update both ones and you’ll get these extra overriding fields in Elementor -> Document Settings -> Page Bottom Navigation panel.

I tried to find the “extra overriding fields but I couldn’t find it. My Rhye Child is version 2.5.4. Is it the latest version? And I’ve updated all plugins I have, except for Advanced Custom Fields PRO. It requires a license key for the Updates!

While it’s not really mandatory and won’t bring anything new, you can still update ACF Pro (without license key) as described here: ACF Pro: Updating Plugin
After removed lazy load.. still the all the image getting load very late.. and lazy load functionlity there..

If I can’t get wpforms to work with your Theme, which is one of the most used contact plugins, I would have to ask for a refund because I don’t want to use an Ajax theme with some pages with Ajax and others without Ajax. I prefer to use my usual Theme which is free.

All the mailing WordPress plugin share the same PHP function to send mails. If it doesn’t work correctly, then it probably points to the web-server and/or domain misconfiguration (DKIM/SPF keys, etc).
Theme provides only visual styling for the input fields and buttons. If you have issues with the mailing functionality, it’s better to ask CF7 support.
But this plugin doesn’t work with your AJAX. What could I do to solve this?
You can try to figure out the re-initialization string of the plugin in JavaScript and use it. Theme is not officialiy compatible with this plugin out of the box and it’s unlikely that it will be supported in future.

Hello! You can use standard Elementor’s “Video” widget or place a section with a video background. Both variants allow autoplaying muted videos.
But Rhye’s widgets are note autoplaying ?

As you may seen from the demo there is no dynamic widget for displaying blog posts. However you may alter a post type in the existing “Portfolio Masonry Grid” widget to display posts instead of portfolio items. This feature is documented here: Changing Post Type in Dynamic Widgets

The feature you’re asking for is not a part of the theme default customization options and involves some PHP coding and understanding of what is actually happening. Such requests are normally outside of the technical support scope.

Hello! Thanks. Updating theme to the latest version won’t lead to an automatic update of the core plugin. In the download pack you need to unzip rhye.zip theme archive, locate this file /rhye/plugins/rhye-core.zip and upload it to WordPress in Plugins admin page.

Regarding “browser tab” title. The site title is controlled by WordPress (or a SEO plugin), not by an active theme. Make sure the title is set in WordPress -> Settings -> General panel. And check if the title is not overridden by a 3rd-party SEO Plugin (if you’re using any).

Hello. Rhye theme itself should work fine on PHP 8. However you may still encounter warnings/errors with the most of WordPress plugins (including the ones that are recommended by theme) as PHP 8 compatibility is still in beta.
