Hello. For some reason the MobileMenu is not displaying properly and the whole mobile view is broken. This has been going on for a few weeks now, and I still cannot figure out what is causing it.

It’s not being responsive even though the parameter is set.

I know you can add videos in the blog section. However, in the portfolio section, can I add videos there too or is it photos only? I ask because I do 2D digital animation and I want be able to have a video portfolio. Also, can social media icons be added to the header section (specifically the “Nilssen” and “Thorian” thome pages? Thanks.

You can add both images and videos to the portfolio singles.

The social icons can be added to some standard header layouts, like the main home page (Magnus).

For the “clients” element, is it text only or can I use company logos?

Dear all,

At this moment I use Kalos theme version 1.0. Right now it’s working with PHP 7.4. After one month it will expire and I have to update to PHP 8 at least. Please do you have a solution for this problem? Because we tried alot of options but unfortunately nothing works at this moment. We have only 4v week to solve this problem.

Compatibility with PHP 8 will be added in the next update. At the moment we don’t have any ETA when this update will come out, however you will be notified via email when the new update is online on ThemeForest.

Hi, We are having an issue with Firefox where the images are not loading in the correct size/grid style when first landing on the pages. If I refresh the page, the correct style is then applied. This is only happening with Firefox. Tested with Chrome and Safari, and it seems all OK. I’m using the Justified Gallery template What can we do about this? Thanks!

I bought the Kalos theme. Is there a way to show the caption or description of an image in the portfolio when it opens in a Lightbox?

Problem1. After latest woocommerce 4.4.1 mandatory update, site layout has been partially messed up. Requires update? but >>

Problem2. Site crashes after trying to update from v.1.1 to v.1.3 using ftp method. Message errore says something about meta-box.

Not sure what do next.

It sounds like you have not updated the theme and its plugins correctly. Please make sure that you are running PHP version 7 or higher.

Try reinstalling Mikado Core plugin by following these steps:

- Connect to your server using your FTP credentials,

- Navigate to wp-content/plugins and delete the mikado-core folder with its content

- Go to WP admin -> Appearance -> Install Plugins, find MikadoCore plugin there, install & activate it.

Thank you so much!,will give this procedure a try. Actually I didn’t delete the mikado-core folder, but I did create a new theme folder copying the fresh files, and then renamed it.

hi, was looking using your theme for a talent management/model agency. Their website must feature models portfolios in portrait mode. Which portfolio style I can use that would suit for this model agency?

Hi, I updated wordpress, I went from version 5.0.4 to 5.2.4. I wanted to update my V.1.1 theme to version 1.2, unfortunately, following your instructions below, it does not work. the site is no longer displayed. Instructions followed: Updating Kalos

You can update your theme by performing the following steps:

Download the latest theme .zip file from ThemeForest
Extract it and locate kalos.zip
Extract kalos.zip and locate the kalos folder
Copy / Replace the contents of the kalos folder to the / wp-content / themes / kalos folder of your web site.

What should I do for the update to work please? (I can not post a ticket, my support has expired, and I followed your instructions to the letter.)

Please try these steps:

Download the latest theme .zip file from ThemeForest
Extract it and locate kalos.zip
Extract kalos.zip and locate the kalos folder
Copy/Replace the contents of the kalos folder to the /wp-content/themes/kalos folder of your web site.

You need to delete the core plugin before updating the theme. If it still breaks, you need to delete the core plugin manually from your server. If the site remains broken, you then start deleting all theme plugins one by one until your site comes back up, then install the new versions of the deleted plugins.

Hi, I deleted the core plugin. I Copy/Replace the contents of the kalos folder to the /wp-content/themes/kalos folder of my web site. -> ok, The site was working with the new version of your theme, but without the Core plugin. So I then install the old version of “mkd-core”, but the site still did not work. How should I do with this Core plugin, once Kalos copy and replaced ? Thanks

When you install the new theme version, you need to install the new plugin version also, not the old one.

When you install and activate the latest theme version, you can navigate to Appearance >> Install Plugins and there you will be able to install the latest versions of all plugins.

Hi, I’ve a question, in the blog demo page there is photo and name of the autor, so, in mine blog the photo and the name does not appear. Is all the day that I try to fix it in the mikado option and in the mikado article too, but i’m not able to solve this problem…can you help me?

Yes, you can set category filter on element that is set on Thorian homepage https://www.screencast.com/t/GUM8C9gmz and as you can see currently is set to No, but if you set it to Yes, it will look like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/IIIcRXNX Just note that, it has to many categories and it looks like this because we set a lot of categories for the portfolio items.

I’m trying to edit some things on the Kalos theme and can’t find where to do it. Could you please let me know how:

1 Edit Footer – Can’t find where to change the Kalos logo and the contents of the footer.

2 Header Logo – How can I make the logo bigger?

3 Header Logo Position – As I was trying to make the logo bigger, i was playing with the options on the Header section. I had it centered before (Default) and after changing to something else and back again to default now the header size is all different (too deep). I changed it to something where the depth is what it was, but the logo is now left aligned.

Hi, I’ve update at 1.2 version, after that I found error 500, so I deactivated all plugins and rectivated one by one, so now I can’t reactivate WooCommerce Plug-in becouse he make a fatal error, so now I can’t read every articol of my portfolio. Could you please try to deactivate and delete WooCommerce and install it again from Plugins > Add New?

If that doesn’t solve the issue, please switch to some default WordPress theme to see if the problem will persist. Thank you.

Hello. I bought this template with a high expectation and I passed on that expectation to the client, who approved it. After purchased we have tried the installation and this has been a total disappointment. I have already invested 15% of the work schedule in processes and installation attempts. The required plugins arrived outdated, the WPBakery asks for a license and it is not clear what needs to be done. We assume that it is not necessary but we do not find the necessary options to work it, and less to update it. The demo content we have never been able to download. The process is always frozen in 70% or 90%. The truth is that the feeling of disappointment and impotence in this process is immense. There is not a package of demo content that can be downloaded to the PC and from there upload it to the web instance? It has always worked like this! Currently we try to install it on a test server to carry out the design and content phases and then it will be transposed to the client’s web server. I can not imagine how many problems I will have with that. Please, I need to unlock this installation process. My client wants to see results! And I also!

You should be able to import the demo normally following this article and please be sure to https://mikado.ticksy.com/article/12620/ but please make sure to set recommended php values, because this is probably the most important part.

The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.You can read more about this here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins

Plugins bundled within the theme are the latest version of the plugins in the moment of latest theme update.

Unfortunately it was not possible to implement this template. The process failed repeatedly when importing the sample data. Several server configurations were carried out assisted in support sessions with Dreamhost staff, modifying and adapting to the parameters suggested in the documentation that you provide. It was always interrupted at 90%.

(Among other things, there is double information about it, in the documentation that comes with the topic, a configuration is discussed and another web page specifies a different one.)

The plugins were disabled progressively looking for which could generate the failure. In the end it was only the Mikado Core and it did not help either.

Looking to optimize and facilitate the import, instead of bringing all the data in one load, it was done in parts: First, “Options” was loaded. Then the “Widgets” and then tried the “Content”. Even without the attachments of the media files.

And the data was not loaded either.

The process control was done (Chrome>Inspector mode) and effectively at 90% of the content load, it fails.

There are no more plugins to disable or elements that are saturating or demanding memory.

Today the client is not willing to accept that template and on our part the expectations were not met and the lost time is valuable. I request to you the refund of the value paid for this product since nisiquira managed to be implemented in the full demo version.

Hi, I have question about Mikado / Kalόs template purchase. When I installed the template, the slider revolution was automatically installed as well, I believe it came with the package. It asked me to activate it by adding the license code. But I couldn’t be able to find the code to upgrade it (the licensing file from the template package has the license details except the code).

How can I solve this issue? Do I need to purchase the slider revolution in order to get the license code?

Hello, I have installed Kalos but have a few problems:
1) as I must delete “Envato-Market” plugin, how do I disable the “required” check?
2) on importing demo there was no loader icon, therefore I pressed the “import” button twice and imported 2 instances of the content. How do I revert to original condition, i.e. without the demo content?
3) Wp-bakery plugin is outdated. Please give link to latest version.

dear Mikado, I have been testing Kalos but I think I’m not satisfied with the product. I was also fooled into believing that I could use my own animated text in a page like this one but that is not possible. I would like to know if it is possible to “return” the product and ask for a refund. I understand that I might not be entitled to a refund but please consider my request as I cannot afford to spend money for items I will not use. Thank you

I also believe there are many issues. The theme is quite unstable and pages/images/scripts are not always loading. Please consider my refund request, I have previously purchased Mikado products but I really think I cannot use this Kalos.
