I can add an instagram like story on the activity page of the Vikinger theme. I solved this. I can completely customize the activity page for myself and I have converted the activity page to a shortcode. Let’s make this a plugin.

1. Somehow I appear to have corrupted the formatting of the following page and I’m not sure how to fix it…

And having chosen to use a dark them by default while allowing users to change theme style if necessary, I would like to know how to show the text in white in dark theme and black in light theme.

Hello I was just hoping that you could give a brief description of the steps to install the theme properly, for example how are the json files to be used. I had hoped there would be at least some readme file with some info on how to install the theme.

You first have to install and setup the theme you can do it following the docs: https://odindesignthemes.com/vikinger-theme-docs/ inside “Getting Started” – “How to Install” “Theme Setup” (this is an important step as you need to correctly customize the BuddyPress setting to make sure everything works OK). After that, check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXEgduXEupk to import the demo content
Doing this things in order is very important for the process as failing to correctly setup BuddyPress may lead to errors or styling issues. If you install the latest version, you can see all steps in the “Getting Started” tab

Thank you so much I looked around for documents but couldn’t find a link anywhere or in any of them emails I had received for the order. I have another plugin that edits the buddypress layout called BuddyBuilder, should I set the plugin to use the default buddybuilder layout so that the theme can do the changes properly?
Hi AssaultLine, the theme doesn’t have integration with that plugin. Please keep in mind that, as you can see in the live preview, this is not the common BuddyPress layout, but we had to customize it a lot in order to add things like the gamification widgets and the twitch widgets in the profile, among others. Alright so I disabled anything and everything from my old themes plugins, along with the other buddybuilder plugin and anything else that messed with the theme. I followed the full setup guide and watched the videos along with it, and everything is great other than I can’t get the menus to show. I disabled the original elementor menu that I was using and I’ve imported all the stuff for the menus and they won’t display. I was wondering if you had another idea on what might be prevent it from showing?

Its all good I figured out the issue, it was a mistake on my end I hadn’t disabled the elementor menu completely. I have them all working now, I am just working on configuring things more to my sites needs.
When trying to import all of the gamification demo stuff it does not import everything, only ever a portion of the file. I’ve tried it a few times and same issue each time. Is there somewhere I can go to view all the demo badges/quests and see what the settings were for them?

Which payment gateway does vk support? I hope it also support crypto like wirex, coinbase, crypto.com and local/ international payment like Payoneer?
Sorry, but the theme doesn’t support those payments. Please keep in mind that this is a WooCommerce shop, not a multivendor market like the HTML. (they handle payments, not the theme)

I’m having a look into the js files of the theme and I can see that you have all the React components in the js/source/components folder and all of those js files’ code is compiled into the app.bundle.min.js file. Under the standard license details it says ‘You are licensed to use the Item to create one single End Product for yourself or for one client (a “single application”), and the End Product can be distributed for Free’
But if I use the paid membership plug in with your theme, doesn’t that mean that I am getting payments from members, using this theme?

As I understand, newsfeed posts are somehow a different post type than blog posts. Is newsfeed post somehow configurable? Is it possible to alter the newsfeed post creation form i.e. for example ability to categorize newsfeed posts allowing the user to choose a category when posting to newsfeed?
Within the blog listing page, there is some search, filtering and sorting functionality. Is it possible to have this functionality within the newsfeed page for newsfeed posts?
On the other hand, blog posts are of different lets say post type and are created only by administrators/editors? Is it possible to have the ability for website users to add blog posts with a front end form similar with the newsfeed post form?
Is there anywhere we can see how the newsfeed form works? In terms of images upload, video embed and general whatever else can be added to the form?
Generally, we want to have users to be able to add categorized posts into a website, and have posts listings with the filters, search and sorting functionality like you have within blog posts listings. Is this possible to achieve with your theme via configurations or with another way?
