well i can’t imagine anyone wanting to get rid of things! not customers anyways— we love options. off topic but is it possible to edit what the dark mode looks like? i’m not a fan of the deep navy and dark blue theme it’s got going on. i’d prefer to do greys and blacks but when i went to try editing the code and hex numbers, it never seemed to change them.
dark.css is the right file to change. CSS is cached in phpBB though, so you’ll need to clear your browser cache to see the changes
it worked! thanks! i got all the colours setup except for the little box that says “new posts” next to the categories section in grid mode. it’s seemingly #CCCCCC but no matter what i change it stays the same. also cant find the very bottom two strips; the one that says: home, subscribe forum, contact us, the team, etc. and then the one below that where it says phpbb. any insight?

That sounds like an issue with the phpBB core.
Milk is front-end design only, it doesn’t affect user verification. The support team at phpBB.com will be able to help you out with this

One comment – I think I saw you mention you were thinking of deprecating the Grid layout? Please don’t – I feel it really sets this theme apart, even if it does require extra effort on your end.

On mobile display less than 400px, the textarea is misaligned. Very annoying because many users are mobile. How can I solve this?

The NO_FORUMS text is showing up at the head of every form, even if there are forms being displayed. It appears as a conflicting error message to users. Anyone else see this on phpbb 3.3.5

The output variable can be removed from forumlist_body.html in the meantime
Hello. I am changing the Theme Accent Colour. Whatever color I choose, it does not change inside the forms. I hope you understand my poor english. This happens also at your demo forum. From the colour picker , change the colour and then go to register and choose language (for an example). When you hover the language you will see that the background stays at blue colour whatever colour you choose for accent colour. How can we change this? Thank you

If you’re using a custom colour from the picker, ensure that “Custom” is selected in the theme preset options

As I said, I noticed this “problem” also at your demo forum. Try to register and choose language. the background in the form stays blue while the rest accent colour is diffirent.
I have been using milk theme for many years but with default settings (blue colour) .I decided to change accent colour recently and I “dicovered” this “problem”
This is not a big problem of course , but I wonder how to solve it….

Ohhhhh that background.
That’s inheriting the background colour from your operating system / browser. This isn’t supposed to match the theme colour, but it’s an interesting idea.

Hi, I bought the template. I wanted to ask why in some posts, the post management options do not appear expandable but are already expanded (see pic). It only happens in some forum posts and not all. I would like to understand why. https://ibb.co/1b1M7Vv
Just wanted to inquire again. I know it’s not a priority. I’m still encountering kind of annoying layout issue. I’m using “fluid” and “grid” for the layout. The issue seems related to screen resolution or browser scaling, because when I go to 90% scaling the browser the alignment snaps into place. But decreasing the size causes layout issues of the actual posts.

It’s just this weird right alignment, as if the box isn’t clearing the prior row. Suggestions on what I can do to try to pinpoint what might be the issue? “grid (list)” causes no issues. Could it be related to the rollover animations for the panels? Any insight on what I might try would be helpful. Thank you.
Regrettably the grid layout is going to be removed in a future update. Far too problematic, very low usage.
