Hello, we have a problem, only users with rule admin can post or upload pictures in the timeline. When new uses come in all the other rules, like subscriber, dont show the area for post. We try everything and dosesent work. Happen same thinks with groups.

- In the HTML template there is a Chat option, can it be used as well for the WP template? And can it be used for Groups Chats?
- The HTML version has a Marketplace and the My Store section, where users can sell their individual items. Can this be done for the WP template as well?
- HTML has a Stream section, can this be added for the WP version?

Hi lionheartewa, sorry, but the WP theme doesn’t have those features. The WP version has an option for chat, but you won’t have the sidebar chat. The WP theme doesn’t have a multivendor marketplace, but a woocommerce shop. And people can add their streams to their profiles, but there’s no stream section to see all in one place. You need to enter people’s profiles to see them (as you can see in the live demo)

Is Spotify integration coming someday? There is allready spotify shortcuts but this theme not show that in front page, maybe next update?

I was testing your demo before I buy and I noticed that the login button when you clicked on it to go to the login page, in the URL it has the .php extension. Is that a bug or buy designed?

Hi rwazeralie, sorry, but there’s no option for that. You can use PMP https://bit.ly/3fQv83h to make some forums only accesible to subscribers (but not unlock them with gems)
Also GamiPress has some paid plugins that allows people to convert gems into discounts/buy stuff with WooCommerce . You can check the plugins here: https://odindesignthemes.com/vikinger-theme-landing/#plugins What you need may be achievable, but you’ll need customization in order to achieve it.
Just please keep in mind that due to Envato’s Support rules, customization is not part of support, so the support team won’t be able to help you with this as it falls outside the scope.

hi, I would like to make changes in the file vikinger-functions-wplogin.php. However, when I put the changed file into the respective child theme folder (/vikinger-child/includes/functions) it isn’t overwriting/overruling the main theme file, i.e. the login page is unchanged. Does this theme deactivate or make it not possible to use the buddypress native member types and group types?

but not having support for something and removing a native feature are two different things. You dont know how the user plans to use the native feature. It may not be visable using your theme but removing the save button is just bad form.

We didn’t remove the member and group types features (it wouldn’t make sense for us to do so if we can easily integrate the feature with the theme), the theme uses custom template files with React and the BuddyPress REST API, which means that support has to be added for each feature.
As you can see in the live preview demo, neither member types nor group types are used or advertised as supported by the theme.
Nevertheless, we do have plans to add support for them in a future update.

We have recently purchased your theme. We found out that there is a bug on the activity creation form.
When a user selects to upload multiple photos from the “Upload photos” section, the form is not being submitted. If you upload no image or 1 image the activity post is being created successfully.

For my wordpress website, I’m using the Vikinger BuddyPress and GamiPress Social Community theme, and I’d like to add custom forum roles. For example, there is Keymaster, Moderator, Participant, Spectator, and Blocked, and I’ve tried to add custom forum roles, but they don’t seem to function properly. I’ve read into articles such as these:

Hey I am sorry to bother but I purchased your gamipress theme and installed it and with every install its giving me a CSS issue. It keeps creating a huge huge gap after the initial nave bar and its ruining the web service I provide is there anyway we can connect on a zoom call to figure this out

If you haven’t done much yet, we recommend you to do a clean install to start again to make sure that the things you’ve done don’t interfere with the setup (we recommend this because the issue seems to be with your installation, because other people were able to install it and make it work OK) Make sure to only install the plugins required for the theme.
After that you first have to install and setup the theme you can do it following the docs: https://odindesignthemes.com/vikinger-theme-docs/ inside “Getting Started” – “How to Install” “Theme Setup” (this is an important step as you need to correctly customize the BuddyPress setting to make sure everything works OK). After that, check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXEgduXEupk to import the demo content
Doing this things in order is very important for the process as failing to correctly setup BuddyPress may lead to errors or styling issues. If you install the latest version, you can see all steps in the “Getting Started” tab
