Thanks for your reply. But disabling Nicescroll disables whole scrolling function on both devices, desktop and mobile. What else might be the problem? Thank you.

Manipulating code and changing overflow:hidden to overflow:visible on body element re-enables the scrolling function. But what part of theme/code might be causing that? That might be the answer.

Make the option off not on and the scroll will work on every devices.

Ehhm, the nicescroll option is OFF for sure, and it’s not working on, any device to be honest. I set it OFF right now, maybe you can check if it’s scrolling up and down. Using Inspect and changing body overflow attribute from hidden to visible enables scrolling. Please reply with a better and more detailed answer next time.

No, now you are right, it’s not related to the nicescroll, but also not related to our theme, check if you add an extra code for the body with CSS or use any plugin effect on your site.

Hello. It’s me, again. On my WP Settings>Discussion, avatar display option is not checked. But users with Gravatar photos set are shown with their photos. Any solution through theme files to stop this from happening? I’d like to make it default icon for all users.

Do you want to use the default avatar for all the users? and do you want to allow for them to choose their avatar after that?

Probably I will never want my users to choose their avatars. I want all of them look the same, the default icon. So, how can I disable their avatars/Gravatars from appearing? Any solution through your theme settings or theme code?

Hello, again. I have few requests.

In our website, if you click on avatars, the ‘author’ link redirects to the homepage, fails to open the author page. I really couldn’t see such setting that may have disabled author page availability. I’d like to learn how I can enable author pages.

Also, I’d like to change the /author/ URL to something different. I need to know all /author/ code written in theme code that will successfully change the slug into the new one. Like, /example/ instead of /author/

Same kind of change is also needed for /page/ URL slug. When you navigate between multiple pages of questions etc, you get the /page/ slug. I also wish to change that to something else.

This last 2 changes MUST NOT fail the code. So I really wish you to help me make these changes flawlessly.

I have a page, the template is ‘Blog’. It displays all my posts there. It’s nice.

But I have a category also. I don’t want my posts under that category appear in that ‘Blog’ page.

Under that ‘Blog’ page settings, there’s an option to filter which categories to show under that page. But that option isn’t working well, because it still displays all my posts, doesn’t filter that particular category.

I want to filter a category from appearing under the ‘Blog’ template page.

This is a lot of changes, you need to update all the theme, do you make your changes on the child theme only? or on the main theme files?

Right now, I have modified main theme files only, and haven’t updated the theme yet. If I’m going to try this new update and see how it looks, I’m probably going to copy my current files and rename it as my new child theme. Backup, update, and see the results I guess. If it clears some/all of my changes, I might have to return to my backup. What do you think?
