You should keep in mind that in case you used your purchase code to register one installation, you are required to deregister in order to use the purchase code on a different installation. With the Regular license you purchase with our theme, you can use the said theme only on a single website or a domain. For more info, take a look at this article.

Hi, I’m having an issue with the Elated Core Plugin. When the theme is updated, the Elated Core plugin (new or old) does not appear to be working. The content displays as mostly a collection of short-codes while the core plugin is activated or deactivated. The update worked fine in a local MAMP environment but has these issues on the production server. Has there been any other reports of this issue? Do you have any recommendations on how to resolve this issue?

We tested this on our local instalation with all the latest version of theme and plugins and everything works fine.
Please check do you have the latest version of our theme and all required plugins. Follow this article in order to update them properly.
Also, please check have you registed the theme under Ambient Dahboard since this is required in order for theme to work.

My developer is stating that the new theme version and the new Elated Core plugin are not working together.

Please try to deactivate and delete the Core plugin and then update the theme once again. Then you will be notified that you are mising required Core plugin and by installing and activating it you will have the latest version of plugin.

Hi thanks for our reply. I did that, everything is up to date now. However, now some of the styling has been lost (im using a child theme). I have some settings on the theme options and for some reason they are not reflecting on the live site anymore, eg. headings showing the default font, header not showing the correct bg colour, and some other things. Core plugin is updated too.

Is there a reason why I can’t see the WPBakery front-end editor? When I edit a page, I am taken into the traditional WordPress backend.
Never mind, I resolved it myself by creating a copy of the Visual Composer Config file in the child folder and removing the whole function as detailed in the link https://helpcenter.qodeinteractive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002330658-How-To-Enable-WPBakery-Frontend-Editor (I removed the whole function, not just the code within the function. Commenting this or removing it didn’t work, it needed to have the function fully removed.

Thanks for writing in! It is possible that those users changed default setups or using some 3rd party plugins that change product single layout. When you import the theme, the product single layout will look the same like on our demo presentation, so you can just change product images and product info to show your products. I can not submit the ticket because the support has expired, and it doesn’t add up to pay more than a half of the theme price to request to check a bug on the theme. When we switch to another theme the issue goes away. Hope you can help with this.

We couldn’t replicate the issue in our local theme
We have used WPBakwery page builder which is compatible with the theme for our demo, we have noticed that you are using Elemetnor page builder. take a note that we haven’t tested the Elementor page builder with this theme.

Thanks for writing in! Sorry to hear this, however the theme works perfectly fine and as you may already know, the regular license covers one theme installation for one purchase code. You can read more about the available license types here . And, if you’ve used out themes before, you’ll be aware that we already had a feature that required theme registration. You can learn more about the differences in this article.
Please update your theme according to our tutorial here as well as check if your purchase code is registered in our Ambient Dashboard as well as if you did update the Core plugin.

Please understand that theme options, shorcodes and meta boxes are now disabled if theme purchase code is not registered on live server.

Hi again Support I followed your instructions above…...I can’t begin to explain how frustrating this upgrade has been. You don’t pay attention to the problems and point your users to a document that fails with both upgrade paths!!! After I alerted you to two critical failures that I got when upgrading to ver 2.0, I get the same with 2.01 so I have a website to launch for a client that cant be launched because I cant install seo because the installed version of wordpress doesn’t support the latest ver of SEO and I can’t upgrade to WP 5.7!!! I have bought 4 x ambient themes and they are beautiful themes and they work really well and this is the first real problem I’ve experienced from you. Can I get an honest answer as to when this error might be resolved, I’m on standard cpanel hosting of my own and have control over everything and other websites are all running fine?
Also to make things worse I just tried to log a support call via Qode website and it wont let me because for some reason qode doesn’t know that I purchased Ambient 4 x times????
