It will be updated to maintain compatibility with new version of WordPress. As you can see from the other successful themes we have had, for example SmartMag is still updated since 2014.

If you’re referring to the category and archives pages, sorry there’s no default feature to automatically exclude posts if they also appear in a widget in sidebar for example. As for your second query, assuming you’re referring to building the homepage and sorting posts by published date? Yes that’s how it is by default when using blocks and there are more sorting options as well.

Yes, that’s supported. A few are builtin, however, not all of it will be available without using an SEO plugin. We prefer Yoast SEO as best compatible but RankMath or others will also work fine.

Some additional to 1) When I write ‘background image’ I’m referring to the page hero featured image, and when I write ‘darker’ I mean having a half-transparent color overlay of e.g. black. 5) Is it easy to customize post meta where it says “BY JAMES DOE AUG 14 2018 5 MINS READ”? For instance add additional text like an affiliate disclaimer which will appear on all the posts?

2. Sorry, there isn’t a default feature for these but we can help via support.

3. Yes, it’s translation ready.

4. You may use any plugin that support widgets properly as the homepage would be built using those widgets. More advanced homepages (except the default on demo) will need to be built with WPBakery Page Builder (included).

5. This is not possible without modifying code. But we can guide via our support site.
