WordPress and HTML. I’m wondering which one to choose. I have experience with WordPress. I’m new to HTML. I’m close to a beginner, but please tell me which one is easier.

The HTML template requires HTML and CSS skills, if you are close to a beginner it would be easier for you to choose a WordPress template. HTML template requires coding skills and has no admin dashboard. Check also this article.

Not program or a skin.
It is a set of HTML and CSS files for the frontend ( Coded UI ).
It has no database, no user admin interface, no backend functionality as in WordPress themes.
HTML templates are not fully working websites.
They are used by developers for creating websites on various CMS. So it requires high coding knowledge.

If you need to edit default olympus icons – you need to edit file
\js\svg-loader.js
There are icons with <title> tags.

Please, pay attention that HTML templates are just a set of HTML and CSS files for the frontend, but not fully working website.

I’m not sure where the company form is to post a job, I found the jobs home, the job apply pop up but cant find the html page for company job post. Any help?

All the pages provided by our designer are implemented in Olympus HTML. You can find all of them at this link https://html.crumina.net/html-olympus/ You are right, there is only a job listing page and a popup with the job application form. The popup is available in the Popup-Windows.html file on line 2970. You can copy that code and paste it on a new HTML page.
If you need a different page, please describe it in a little bit more detail, and we will pass your request to our designer.

Hi yes the popup is for user to apply to job vacancy. What i was asking about was vacancy posting page that company fills which up first so that their job post pops up. That page is missing something like this https://www.jotform.com/form-templates/job-posting-request to match the popup you did.

The mentioned pages are missing in Olympus HTML for a few reasons. First of all, Olympus HTML and Olympus WordPress are completely different products, with similar design touches.
As most features present in Olympus HTML were impossible to implement in WordPress CMS, we referred to the plugins like BuddyPress and Youzify, which provide the mentioned pages.
At the moment you are the first customer who requested those pages in the HTML version.
Anyway, thank you for the idea! We will consider adding those pages in HTML in future updates.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I totally understand. We will recreate the html pages of those ourselves following the wordpress layout, as our site requires to have groups, members etc. Thanks for the great design and effort however!

The latest version of the template is hardly compatible with previous ones. Many things have been changed and improved. It is good for new users, but it would be hard to update a ready site with the backend functionality. If you have done all integrations on the server-side and the site works fine, you don’t have to update the template.

But please note, that you’ve been testing the theme on Safari for Windows, which had been released in 2012 and has not been supported for 9 years already.
Sorry, but we won’t do anything to improve that. The template looks fine on most modern browsers, and we recommend you use them instead.

Having problem with Tooltips. It works but most of the time it only shows once when hover on element and then no longer shows. Also Tooltip should trigger only on hover on element and after click it should hide, but it’s remain same until click outside. Any suggestion?

I found a few more bugs in mobile view:
1. i can’t close notifications bar when it’s opened (may be it should close after second click on tab icon)
2. when scrolling left and right sidebar menus, the background content are scrolled too

I’m not sure what you mean
But if you are talking about the placeholders used in the template pages instead of the demo images, this is a requirement of the Envato reviewers and we have to follow it.
We also don’t include images in the package as they are copyright protected, and distributing them would be considered as copyright infringement.
If you meant something else, please give us a little bit more information.

We have learned this question more detailed and found the cause of the issue. Most likely you use an outdated version of Safari, that doesn’t support webp images. We will add compatibility for it in the next update.
