Hello, I know Buddypress has roles for social groups:
1. Group Administrator 2. Group Moderator 3. Group Member
Is there a way to configure in your theme what these users can do based on their role. So for example a moderator can comment in a group but a member can’t. In what way would I be able to configure these type of restrictions?

Hi nicolosiciliano, for the WordPress we decided to work on features that were most requested by the WP buyers. The WP version doesn’t have the Events that the HTML has, but the WP has lots of features that the HTML doesn’t, like quests, credits, verified members, avatar types, ads integration and more that were more requested by users than events. For now we don’t have plans to add an events plugin integration, but if anything changes, we’ll let you know. Best Regards!

I watched your demo site and found that the pictures and video addresses uploaded in the news page have no thumbnail processing function. Is it incompatible with the picture processing plug-in? Or I use the cloud storage server to save my attachments and it seems that they cannot be used. Is this possible? It will cause a lot of stress on the server

We haven’t tested the theme with any of those plugins so we can’t ensure compatibility.
The theme includes a way to enable / disable image and video uploads for activities, limit individual upload file size and extensions via Customizer options.

Hi RJHAY0228, If you haven’t done much yet, we recommend you to do a clean install to start again to make sure that the things you’ve done don’t interfere with the setup (be sure to install the latest version of the theme!)
After that you first have to install and setup the theme you can do it following the docs: https://odindesignthemes.com/vikinger-theme-docs/ inside “Getting Started” – “How to Install” “Theme Setup” (this is an important step as you need to correctly customize the BuddyPress setting to make sure everything works OK). Doing this things in order is very important for the process as failing to correctly setup BuddyPress may lead to errors or styling issues. If you install the latest version, you can see all steps in the “Getting Started” tab

But i have some questions about it: - The website currency (“gems” for example) can be tradable between users and what can you buy with it? - Is there a possibility to link membership features with other platforms? (like discord for example, but not only it). A features like this exists on patreon (if you subscribe to someone you can have access to features even on discord and not only on patreon).

The Group Type BuddyPress feature doesn’t work with your theme. When you click on view on any type at the Group Type panel and it takes you to the link, it just shows all the groups… That’s disappointing.

Hi, how can I edit the forum reply editor? I’ve been having issues with it, I need to change the buttons/options in the reply editor as they don’t work as they should.
When the LI tag is selected it shows UNDER the comment itself and donks up the page.

And the scroll bar jumps around when scrolling up.

You just have to format them correctly, put the LI items inside OL or UL:

Unfortunately, I did not see that in the profiles on the site it was visible whether the user was online or not. And this is quite an important function for a gaming service. Maybe I searched badly?

We are using the buddyboss theme and platform with memberpress to charge our monthly subscription.

Due to the really custom nature of the design (that has things like a custom slider with icon tabs in the profile pages instead of the classic BP row of links in order to make it look different than the average BP theme) plugins that may work in a vanilla theme out of the box, may require some code customization in order to integrate them.
