Great theme all around but why it has ‘nextjs’ tag. I really dont know about Gatsby so i have purchased this theme because of ‘nextjs’ tag. Can I have a nextjs version of this or something. Thank guys, sorry for my bad English.
Hello,
As advertised, FlexiBlog is a Gatsby theme. NextJS version of the theme is not available.
Hello, How are you. I was going through your theme features and Layouts and you have done a great job. I wanted to build a blog and I love blog page with sidebar where I can add related posts, Ads & Newsletter.
But Layout with sidebar is less wide both content area and Sidebar area should be slightly wider. The Main content area needs to be about 40px wide.
As we use responsive design and many readers also read blog on mobile the sidebar should be moved below content on mobile devices as in this case we dont have sidebar on mobile devices.
please refer this width layout https://medium.com/javarevisited/explain-the-kubernetes-to-5-years-old-44cb2e8a193f
It is possible for regular people to change width and do you have guide in the documentation. if not can you add new wider layout in future.
Thanks.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Any React developer can make that change. You can also contact our support team after purchasing a license and we’ll customize the layout with a service fee.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi ElegantStack, great work. i just want to know are your using graphql or rest in this template. if graphql then which client are you using (e.g. apollo client??). i’m looking for graphql apollo + react hooks one thanks in advance
Hello,
We’re using the gatsby sourcing plugins and GraphQL to fetch data from the data sources.
Hi, I have a feature request, can you add scroll to the top icon (Botton right) for the blog post page, for making it easier to navigate to the top. Helpful for blogs with lengthy content. Thanks
Hello,
We’ll add this to our list. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hello, Presale question. Design is good but I want to know few thinks.
Do we have Fields to set custom Meta like SEO Title, SEO Description, Keywords. The meta value should be Custom and not be same as Article title. So that we can set small title but Good SEO title which will not show in Article but Search engine will se that.
Can we Add html element like Affiliate Button in Article and add CSS for these button.
Suppose we have Thousands of Article then do we have problem on Building App.
Thanks.
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in the FlexiBlog theme.
1) Title and description and meta tags are generated automatically from article data. Keywords can be defined in each article settings.
2) Yes, you can use HTML and CSS in article body or create and use React components in articles if you choose to use MDX data sourcing.
3) You will have a higher build time for thousands of articles but it’s not an issue.
Hi, Thanks for Response, Unfortunately I need dedicated SEO Title and Meta Description so that we can have Better Search View. I don’t know if its possible for you to add this fields but it very useful and, on Wordpress we heavily rely on this feature.
If you consider this in future update I will like to move from Wordpress to Gatsby.
Thanks.
I will add this feature to our list of feature requests.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Hi, Can I buy and Build Blog and start moving Content from Wordpress to Gatsby. and when later you will add above feature it should automatically integrated. So, while creating Blog posts on Contentful can I create custom fields of SEO Title and Set Description and move all post.
Hello, Upgrading is not automatic. You’ll need to manually update your repository with the new version of the theme.
I mean Currently we don’t have Support for Custom SEO Title and Set Meta Description. and suppose I buy the theme and Build blog and the create custom field for Title and Set meta Description in Contentful but as theme currently does not have support for this. So, when you will add the future my existing fields will work.
Can I expect above update in next month..?
Sorry. I don’t have an ETA for the next update and I don’t promise the features you requested will be integrated.
Thanks, Please add this to the add feature list. I want to move from Wordpress but I can wait till you add this feature. As once I move from Wordpress All the Seo title will change to post title.
Hi, is it possible to add the above feature as custom customization from you or other freelancer and the custom customization won’t be overwitten after updating to later versions of flexiblog theme.
Do you have a video showing the installation procedure? I have little knowledge of Gatsby, but I really need it for speed
Hello,
Our written documentation is comprehensive and covers all aspects of the installation. We do not have videos.
Another question, can you integrate wordpress as CMS, there are lot of them who are looking for Gatsby and wordpress as CMS. I can see there are plugins available in Gatsby plugin library for integration of wordpress and Gatsby. Plugin: gatsby-source-wordpress
Hello,
As advertised, supported CMSes in FlexiBlog are Contentful, Sanity, Strapi and Netlify CMS. Other CMSes are not supported, nor advertised and we don’t have any information about them.
I had sent an email 2 days back no response. My documentation is blocked, its asking me to contact support.
We’re not available on weekends. Please continue the conversation in your support ticket.
Hi, Can you make a video tutorial for the installation. I am not expert coder, finding quite difficult to follow the documentation. Video will be helpful for other also.
Hello,
Thank you for purchasing from us.
As advertised FlexiBlog is a ReactJS and GatsbyJS theme. In our documentation we expect the customer to have a experience with both frameworks or at least have moderate experience with JavaScript ecosystem. Hello, is it possible to add sub menus to the top navigation bar?
Hello,
Yes. That’s possible. You’ll need to modify the source code of the Navigation component to add this feature.
Hi, I wanted to build multi author Blog and Wordpress as a Backend support would be great but, its not supported on your template. Can we use multiple Contentfull free accounts and give it to multiple author which we can Moderate before publishing. Or any other way to build multi-author Blog but I need to Moderate each blog post before publishing it. Thanks.
Hello,
Yes. It is possible to source the data from multiple Contentful spaces and you can use Contentful space roles to manage user permissions in each space.
Reference: Contentful space roles and permissions
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi, Thanks for the confirmation. Unfortunately I can’t afford Contentfull Paid Plan and I have to settle with Community plan which does not allow author. So, I will create multiple Contentfull account and give editor privilege to author.
Do, we have any limit on number of Contentfull account. Can we have documentation on linking multiple accounts. Or is it under paid customization.
Thanks.
Our documentation covers enabling Contentful in the FlexiBlog theme. You can simply repeat the step for adding the first Contentful space/account for adding more spaces/accounts.
You can also contact support if you encounter any issues during installation. Your purchase of the theme comes with 6 months technical support.
I don’t know if there’s a limit on how many Contentful accounts you can create.
Thanks, I have one request if you can consider it. Can you add one more field for blog content. Is a short summary about 2 lines which we can display after title. Sequence would be Title -> Short summary about blog post -> Image -> Author, Published date. and One more thing Do I need to know coding to setup blog. Thanks
Hello,
That would be a customization. You can contact us via support for a price quote.
FlexiBlog is a React and GatsbyJS template and knowledge of both libraries or at least some JavaScript knowledge is required to be able to work with the template.
Hello, I am trying to add two contentful spaces but its not working. I have added 2 api keys in .env and added this in gatsby-config.
spaceId: process.env.CONTENTFUL_SPACE_ID,
accessToken: process.env.CONTENTFUL_ACCESS_TOKEN,
spaceId: process.env.CONTENTFUL_SPACE_ID2,
accessToken: process.env.CONTENTFUL_ACCESS_TOKEN2
Blog is showing content from only second Contentful space.
Please submit a support ticket and include the content of your gatsby-config.js file.
Our support team will get back to you within 24 hours in business days.
Thank you.
Hello, I see that external links in the Blog post are not nofollow. How to make external links nofollow. Thanks.
Hello,

Hi
https://prnt.sc/26sf8do1 => How can we bring an image suitable for the blog content here. Exactly including Twitter meta tags?
2 => If I make my own administration panel with my own react knowledge, will the site break? (i.e. do we have to use content management systems like contentfull? Is there a dependency? Can we remove it from the code?)
Finally, is netlify cms free compared to others?
Best regards
Hello,
1) Preview image for Social sharing is already supported. We’ll have to check our live demo.
2) Supported CMSes are Contentful, Sanity CMS, Strapi and Netlify CMS. Other CMSes are currently not supported. Using a CMS is optional. You can use file-based data source (Mdx and JSON) if you don’t want to use a CMS.
3) Yes, Netlify CMS is free and open-source. Other supported CMSes have generous free plans too.
do you have html version only for this theme?
No, Sorry. We don’t have an HTML version.
Hello, I’m trying to connect Strapi or ContentFul to Flexiblog but it doesn’t work. I followed all your tutorial, step by step, and I have the same result:
ContentFul:
Missing onError handler for invocation ‘building-schema’, error was ‘Error: Type with name “ContentfulArticle” does not exists’. Stacktrace was ‘Error: Type with name “ContentfulArticle” does not exists
Strapi:
Missing onError handler for invocation ‘building-schema’, error was ‘Error: Type with name “StrapiArticle” does not exists’. Stacktrace was ‘Error: Type with name “StrapiArticle” does not exists
I’d like to use Strapi, but it seems the method described in your documentation doesn’t work.
I hope for your help, Thank you.

Hello, does RTL support right-to-left writing? Are there documents to read before purchasing your product? Is adding and publishing an article easy or not. For beginners and regular customers.
Hello,
Managing the content is easy with the supported CMSes, specially with Contentful that is beginner-friendly.
RTL is not supported and documentation is available to customers after purchase.
Very good template unfortunetly isnt html
Thank you!
Hi
1: What I want is that I want things related to the blog post the reader is currently reading to appear on the right. Is this possible? For example, I wrote an article about the C# language. Will other C# related posts appear on the side (posts from different authors)?
2: I guess this is not a wordpress theme. Are we writing our blog posts from the admin panel? Is there a demo or image you can send me for the background (authors, categories, edits, how can we write blog posts)?
3: How can we place the ad space? Is the theme adsense compatible? If we can put ads, where can we put them? (Compatible ads)
4: Do we have to use Disqus for comments? I can’t say that the Disqus comments look very good in the dark theme (a bit of an eye catcher). If Disqus is mandatory, is it possible to change the colors of these comment fields when switching to dark theme?
5: Can we choose the hosting provider we want? (gatsbyjs.com) mandatory?
6: An example that I would very much like: Is it possible for you to add a bar above showing how far the user has progressed while reading the blog post? Do you think something like this in future updates?
Example: https://prnt.sc/26bf7a7
It is a very nice feature for both mobile and desktop as in this example
My English is not very good. I hope I explained my questions properly.
Thank you from now
Best regards
Hello!
I will go through your questions in the same order:
1) Yes, the related posts section shows the posts from the same category or with the same tags.
2) The theme supports Contentful, Sanity CMS, Strapi and Netlify CMS for managing content. You can try them from their websites. We recommend Contentful for beginners.
3) The theme is based on React. You can place ads/banners anywhere you want.
4) Supported commenting integrations are: Disqus, Graph Comments and Facebook comments. We’re using graph comments in our demos.
5) Our recommendations for hosting are Netlify and Vercel but you can choose your hosting provider.
6) I’ll add your suggestion to our list. We might integrate in future updates.
You’re welcome and thank you for your interest in the FlexiBlog theme.
I forgot to ask, is the site easily translatable to another language?
Also what languages does syntax highlighting (coloring) for scripts cover? Different languages that I will use a lot of code in my blog posts.
Most of the texts are from the content (articles/categories/authors) and the remaining phrases can be translated easily if you’re comfortable with React.
We’re using Prism for syntax highlighting. The theme supports some languages by default and it is extendable to support more Prism language highlighting.
First of all, thank you very much for your answers. I have two last questions. If I make some changes on this site with my own software knowledge, but what should I do so that the site is not damaged when I make the next update from you?
In short, I want to add something myself, but if I apply the next updates, will the site be damaged?
Also, isn’t this your long term theme? Will your theme always continue to evolve?
Thanks again for your answers.
Best regards
Component Shadowing is Gatsby’s solution for theme updates.
As you can see in the changelog, we’ve been updating the theme regularly since July 2020 and we’re not planning to discontinue the theme anytime soon.
Hello again
As far as I can see, your theme only supports type, title, image and Published date fields for rich results. So how do I integrate my how-to blog posts (build steps…)?
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/structed-data/how-toThere are more examples at this link
Actually, everything is detailed in the document, but I wanted to ask before I buy
Example: https://bul.tc/PFuv http://prnt.sc/26cqou3 http://prnt.sc/26cqp54
Hello,
FlexiBlog is a blogging theme and for this purpose, Article and Breadcrumb structured data are integrated into the theme.
If you’re familiar with React and structured data, It’s easy to add other types to the default structured data component in the theme but how-to steps type is not available in the theme’s data layer so you’ll need to add new fields for how-to steps in the GraphQL’s data layer first then add the new fields to the structured data component.
For adding additional fields to GraphQL’s data layer, you’ll need to be comfortable working with Gatsby or you can hire us to work on the project.
