Hello, Hi, I can’t use elementor with vara too ! I have to desactivate vara in order to use elementor. All updates are done. Can you solve this please ?

Hi! I sent this through support last week, or maybe the week before that, and I never got a response. In fact, I’ve never gotten a single response to any of the support questions I’ve asked. Anyway, I thought I’d ask the question here, in case anyone reading these comments knows the answer: none of the categories are showing up when I add a Portfolio Element to a page on my staging site. Even your demo pages, which I imported to the staging site on install, do not show the categories on the Portfolio Element, only the “All” option. They don’t even show up in Elementor’s edit mode. I added them in the Filter Query field in the Filter tab in the Portfolio Element editing area, which added the categories to the list, but nothing happens when you click them. I was looking at your categories-portfolio.php file, which is where the call is failing, but I can’t tell why. Will it work when I migrate to the production site and get all my urls in order, or is there something else that’s causing the issue? Please reply.

When will be new release be out that can support Elementor 3.6.4. It crashes the website when I did the update of the plugin. Elementor has provided the reason and I have forwarded to the author but there is no reply nor acknowledgement. I am on 6 month support and regretted it if there is no one to reply. This is a bug on theme.

Hi. I wrote to you a couple weeks ago in the contact form with two questions about Vara, and I have done so again now and I am repeating the questions here. Please respond. Question 1: The documentation is unclear on media image sizes/ratios and the demo media library has images in a variety of sizes/ratios, so what is the ideal size for my images, or does it vary depending on where the image is displaying? Question 2: In the Elementor pages and templates, where the global style settings should be under the top left hamburger, the settings are missing. And your css files and theme documentation indicate that a lot of global styling was done in Elementor. Did you remove access to the global settings or did Elementor? Thank you in advance for replying.

The images used on Vara theme, some of theme are cropped based on the layout design provided by the designer of the theme and some of them are just placed like they were in their original resolution size and wordpress functions crops itself, so it depends for which page you’re asking for, it is really a combination.

Hello, with the last update of wordpress the Vara plugin and Vara theme don’t work correctly. My site is broken since this update. Please, I need an update for the theme an I think that to pay for support isn’t necessary to this. The last update is from June 21. Could anybody help me please?

I bought this theme few days ago. And I am really satisfied with this. And thinking to give 5 star. But at the end I faced 1 issue at the footer.

I added 100% width and everything. I know how to design this because I ma elementor developer for the last 5 years. But didn’t see this type of anything.
When I am clearng my cache and then trying, it works 1 time. But then again my footer take this look. Can you help me.

Yes. I resolved it. But I have an another issue with the filter option. I enable only 3 categories here to show there projects. But all 3 categories are not working here. Only “all” filter is working.

Hey guys,
We have a problem with the filter within a portfolio page. It does not sort.
What I could find is that in the “data-filter=” we have this: .3d-modeling
And the category of the portfolio is like this: project_cat-3d-modeling
It’s missing the project_cat so it does not sort.
Any idea how to fix this?

Sorry for the late reply. It seems like we have some trouble with a small part of code on Vara Plugin and it is causing filter functionality, we’re working on a new version of Vara them and will update soon. In meantime please go and edit this file.
In file vara-plugin/inc/widgets/portfolio/parts/filters.php on line 42.
instead of this echo '<li><a href="#" data-filter=".'. esc_attr($term->slug) .'">'. esc_attr($term->name) .'</a></li>';
put this echo '<li><a href="#" data-filter=".'. esc_attr($term->taxonomy.'-'.$term->slug) .'">'. esc_attr($term->name) .'</a></li>';

adding pictures to a portfolio item one by one is not ideal. you must implement to multiple image upload. One portfolio item has 50 images and I have 100 portfolio item. i have to add pictures one by one. thats horrible

Unfortunately, this is the only option that will allow you to add images to your gallery, but in future updates we will change this option and make it so that you can add more than one photo.
