What do we need to do in order to get the sidebar to show on ALL pages? Not sure why this isn’t an option….every other theme has this option…what do we have to edit to make it work?? It is important we have the sidebar on all pages
Some page templates are designed to have no sidebars at all (portfolio and home page for example). But default page template and blog page can have default side bar and custom sidebars (for default page template).

I really like your theme and looking at buying it – but I noted few issues when looking at it on the iPad.
1) When I go to Portfolio – on a desktop there is an option to select a photo to open up large, or to click on the Project name and get the Project’s page. On the desktop it works just fine, but on the iPad there is no way to select the link to the Project and as soon as you touch the photo it just opens up the image.
2) the Touch functionality doesn’t work on the Home page slider
3) the Touch functionality within the individual thumbnails is SUPER slow and not really a workable thing.
My main concern is the point #1 – as I will be using this theme for a client and need to be able to access her featured projects from a Desktop or iPad.
Could you let me know if this could be fixed on your side ASAP ?

hello! can you please help me to hide the slider all together in the mobile version of this theme, i have tried everything to customize the slider to fit perfectly on desktop and mobile but it’s just not happening. please help me figure out how to hide the slider from being visible when the site is loaded on a mobile device.

I too have had problems with the contact page. I have tried every possible combination with SSL security, TLS , None, Authenticated, Non Authenticated and nothing but error, error, error. I have sent you an email in regards to this, though I really don’t see how else this can be sorted. However, it has been noted that the same error does in fact occur on the preview of the theme too… interesting!
The mail script is not one of ours and its best script out there for sending SMTP email through PHP (check phpmailer on google for more info). Its fully tested on our machines and it works perfectly. Its maybe because of your configuration or email server you’re using. We can not guarantee everything works on everyones server. Anyway please send us an email with your website URL so we can help you make it work.
Is there a way for for multi-upload images in a Portfolio ? Thanks for your support

Hi I mean uploading more than one pics and populate all image fields in one step.
Uploading works with standard wp media uploading but I have to choose one image per time.
How I can resize image during uploading or setting image field?

Hi, Its not possible. Its designed to upload one image per time. For resizing there is an edit image button when you upload images using wp upload.

it keeps adding an extra escape character each time we make changes and save it. It finally becomes like this shown below. Could you please fix this? Also, could we drop a custom.css file using FTP instead of using the editor. We tried, but didn’t work.

Hi, I can not reproduce the problem on my machin. However there are some white spaces generated by php that doesn’t really matter.
Hi Mohsen, It’s an important issue. The file size of CSS is also increasing 200%. It’s easy to reproduce. Please copy the following CSS code into “Theme Options” -> “Advanced” into the custom css. Once you save, you will see special escape characters. Click “Save” again. You will see more special characters. Do this repeatedly until you see a bunch of escape characters.

Yes, I opened a ticket but it takes them days to reply usually…. Basically to sum up everything I bought this theme for my limousine service in Pine Mountain, Georgia… A huge tourist destination and we are working with Callaway Gardens as their car service… We already have people asking about the website and I have tried getting this theme to work with no luck 
its urgent we get a website up quickly…. Is there anything you can do to help? Another theme possibly?

We currently have around 300 customers and our support team is trying hard to answer all questions in timely manner. Comments and emails are answered within a day or two. You can verify that by looking at time stamps on Black Pearl comments. Also we tested our theme on different devices and we make sure that everything works for most people. We are also constantly adding features and bug fixes to Black Pearl. Please understand that we simply do not have time or resources to make everything work for everyone as there are too many host configurations out there and people have diffrent technical skill levels. Thats why there is a user manual and finally a support team.
Again our team will try their best to help you with installing Black Pearl.
I have spent days trying to figure this thing out and everything keeps failing miserably. Contact Us Page constant errors…. etc. etc. Can you please refund my money on this theme?

I only have one slide for the homepage slider. Once it loads the theme goes and looks for the next slide, when it finds nothing it just shows a blank area. Is there a way to just show one slide without it transitioning? Thank you

Hi, We have created a post and it appears in the recent posts on Home page. When we click on it, the CSS and everything seems to be fine. But when we click on the menu with the associated category menu, the CSS for date gets messed up along with “Modern Blog” title instead of the original title appearing in our Page.. Please let us know how to resolve this problem.
Also, I tried to restrict the number of lines to 5 to show up in the post – like you have done in the theme. How to do this?

Hi there. After falling in love with the theme an buying it, found a very strange and simple problem: css is not loading.
Any other themes tried in the same wordpress installation worked fine, but blackpearl (last version, downloaded for the last time minutes ago) doesn’t even load the style.css file (nowhere to be found in the code as the page loads, checking with chrome developer tools). Could this be a silly error in the last version uploaded? Can you check if css is loading in this last version?

Hi, no, it works perfectly for other users. Have you tried to install it using zip package through WP control panel?
And the miracle happened! Thanks for the reply, we usually never install zip package, just upload the files via FTP , so we didn’t even think about it.

When you edit the contact page through WP admin panel, there is a box under the page editor that has “Page Options” title. You can edit that text under “Page Introduce” section.
So the path for demo content is “Pages > Contact (Edit) > Page Options > Page Introduce”

First you have to add your Pinterest image to “assets/img” inside the black pearl theme.
Find below lines inside your “style.css” file:

Assuming your image name is “icon_pinterest.png”. Then open “footer.php” file and look for following:

What I’ve tried to fix it so far: I’ve loaded up all the sample data I’ve deactivated the theme, deleted it, downloaded another copy from theme forest, uploaded that one and activated it I’ve tried adding another portfolio item since then.
My permalink structure is / category / postname / The only plugins I have installed are Pricing table SEO friendly images Wordpress SEO
