1) is there a chance to let the photos in a portfolio post be displayed underneath instead of merged in a slider?
2) any clever idea for getting rid of the date and comment box at blog page and blog posts page? if i deactivate the area, which area do i have to reedit so the photos and the text could easily fill up the space? i want to use the fullwidth layout, but the ident of the text collumn annoys me a bit.

1) In slider.inc.php replace id=”portfolio-slider” with id=”portfolio-slider-something” and add this to Extra CSS in Brankic Panel

Hello, I seem to be having an issue with the blog page. I noticed that when I add more than one image to a post ie extra image 1, extra image 2, the previous post that also had multiple images now slides through ALL images from BOTH posts. When I click on that individual post, it only shows the desired images.. however, on the main blog page where each post is condensed, it is showing all images for both posts. What is going on?
Other users noticed this too, and I’ll fix it in next update in couple of days…

Another question – I’m using portfolio items to show images and videos of zombies on my website. However in doing so I’m publishing them on separate pages – videos and images – instead of a portfolio page. However whenever I click on the link-through on the hover buttons I get a 404 error (I assume because it’s trying to link-through to the portfolio page). Is there any way to rectify this so as to not to receive a 404 error?
This happens because of your permalink structure. 1st try to use default (ugly one) permalink structure to see if it’s working. If it works, try to change slug of portfolio page. If this doesn’t help, change default rewrite slug for portfolio custom type in includes/bra_theme_functions.php

After that update permalink settings…

we’re using wp_menu function, so I don’t know what can cause the problem with ubermenu.
However, I think you should ask ubermenu authors if there is something you should do on your side…

Is it possible to change the proportion of space that page content and extra image are presented on single portfolio page? It’s set as : one_third – page content and two_third – extra image. Could it be the other way around? or 1/2 to 1/2 maybe?

you can try to edit single-portfolio_item.php.
Replace class “one-third” with “one-half” and “two-third last” with “one-half last”
Not sure are there more stuff you’ll have to change, but this is enough for the start…

Ok this seems to be better if I use the ‘footer left and right’ instead of ‘footer 1st,2nd,etc box’. However, the social media widget isn’t displayed on the webpage? I’ve placed it in ‘footer left’....

Sorry Brankic its working, I had just edited something in the footer css that had affected it. What css can I add to lower the height of the footer? I’ve been trying but just can’t get footer-content, footer-bottom and footer to work nicely when I edit one or the other…

I don’t see any sense in lowering the height of footer because it’s repsonsive to content. You can only lower top/bottom padding (35)

Our slider doesn’t allow videos
You have to enable “Show sharing options” in Brankic Panel -> Blog (same setting is for posts and portfolio posts)

If this doesn’t help, try to disable all plugins, to see if there is some plugins conflict.
I have updated all, and had deactivated all plugins but it seems to be same problem and no solution

in your case it’s a permalink issue. Try to use default permalink setting to see if it’s working.
If it’s working try to change page slug for Portfolio page, or change word “portfolio” with some other in includes/bra_theme_functions.php

I am fairly new to wordpress and all of this coding stuff. I have managed to customise everything apart from the portfoilio section. I cant, for the life of me, get it working. I have created a category called “my work” and sub categories called “print”, “Screen”. etc… When I upload the work it just falls into a column and the tabs dont show…
