Sorry, but no, the theme’s WordPress blog feature works from the backend and they have an already really powerful editor with lots of blocks and features (and constantly getting updates).
If you don’t want to grant access to the complete backend features to someone, remember that you also have the option to give users the role of “Editor”, “Author”, or “Contributor” https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/ which allows them to write blog posts from the backend but “locks” some of the other features.

Hello, you told me that it was not possible to install a plugin in the theme to report posts, block users… there is this plugin, which you know of its existence, since I have spoken with the developers and they tell me that you have refused to collaborate. I’m talking about the “BSR” plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-toolkit/). I’m sorry but I want the refund, it’s a nice theme but it’s not functional. Hi nax1to, we are aware of that plugin and we spoke with their dev team and we didn’t refused to collaborate as you say. In fact, we provided them with a copy of our theme so they could work to see if they could somehow integrate it with the theme as we couldn’t because the parts of the application that are affected by it are inside React applications within the theme which makes this a really big job. Due to recent events (pandemic) our team got smaller and it’s already stretched thin which is why we can’t allocate resources only for this integration as it will take a really long time. Hi feghshf, sadly, the theme doesn’t have plugin integration for the features that you’re mentioning. Please keep in mind that due to the really custom nature of the design (that has things like a custom slider with icon tabs in the profile pages instead of the classic BP row of links in order to make it look different than the average BP theme) plugins that may work in a vanilla theme, may require some code customization in order to integrate them. If a plugin is not explicitly listed there, then it hasn’t been tested with the theme and we can’t ensure it will be compatible.

Hello! Very, very nice theme! Question for you:
I understand that the Moderation issue has been ongoing for over a year or so, and that there are custom elements to the theme (React) and other issues.
Question: How easy would it be then just to add a simple “report” button next to each piece of content that then links to a direct message to the admin? This would at least be a good step in the right direction.
Secondarily, if you could add the same button maybe next to a user and/or private messages, this would be a very easy “substitute” for a block button and a report button. May be even a few lines of code?
This would be awesome! It would enable me to buy the plugin! Thanks very much in advance?
Finally, do you happen to know any simple plugins where they will work, but it just will not look good? For example, we add the buttons in strange places, but the plugins will work for moderation? I think honestly my suggestion above is the easiest if you can tell me how it would be done.

Thanks, yes, I think also if you had these options and buttons included, and all of them went to a form or Private Message of Admin, it would be good and easy to implement. Here are the recommended buttons:
1) Report/Flag Users 2) Report/ Flag Content 3) Block User
I may have to buy another theme now, but if you happen to get it done quickly I can wait and maybe buy yours! Basically it is 3 buttons and 3 links to DM the Admin. Any thoughts on if support would let me know how to add 3 buttons like this? It is essentially just 3 links. Thank you!

Hey Legends – thanks so much for the amazing theme. I was wondering if there is any way to disable some of the notifactions coming onto the main wall page. For instance everytime a member joins a groups or adds someone as a friend it appears in the news feed wall but these notifications are of no use and it removes any conversation the team is having. Especially as we will have 100’s of people on connecting and joining groups and will just clutter everything

Hi vuminhquan, sorry, but BuddyPress doesn’t have a pending post feature. Regarding pinned post, each member can pin a status update post at the top. You can check this in the live demo. Best Regards
Hi. I asked my friend who bought the theme a few months ago. He said you can only pin it to the top of your timeline’s profile. There are no ways you can pin your post on the newsfeed as an administration. I want to pin my rules on the newsfeed to make sure my community doesn’t post something explicit. But sadly, your theme doesn’t have this option. Hopefully, you can add it soon. I’m willing to buy it if you have this option. Thank you.

I’ve installed the theme twice on two different pages trying to get this to work. I’m having some problems with the login pages. The main login page is jumbled out of order. I login through the WP or a membership login page but still get logged out automatically whenever I click and go to another page. Not sure what else to try from here.

Splendid theme! 2 Questions/remarks:
1. Does (or will) Vikinger also support the Wordpress Events plugin (as in the Olympus theme)? 2. Is there a way for the Better Messages plugin to be adapted to the theme styling? It is integrated lovely, however when you start using the plugin (e.g. compiling a message and searching for friends) it’s styling is changed to the Better Messages styling, such as Times New Roman font.

1. Too bad, thought that the Olympus theme was somewhat comparable to Vikinger. Will the Wordpress Events plugin be integrated sometime? 2. Well, it mainly is when starting a new conversation. If you start entering letters in the ‘send to’ row, the font is changed to something else. Also, in dark mode, the font in the ‘subject’ row is changed to white. And since subject box has a white background, it can not be seen. It would be best if the boxes would be similar to the ‘message’ box, which is really nice! Also the boxes that come up after sending a message (e.g. warnings) are in the original Better Messages style.

Hi, How many users can register? How many users and groups can it support? Are these numbers determined by the features of the hosting or does the theme have a certain capacity?
This things are determined by BuddyPress, not the theme, you should check directly with them as the theme doesn’t have a users cap.

Sadly BuddyPress doesn’t have that option, it only has the option for private groups.

Hi BrokenChaos, it seems that you’re a little confused about what BuddyBoss is, you say that as it BuddyBoss uses BP but they literally compare themselves to BuddyPress, https://www.buddyboss.com/buddyboss-vs-buddypress/ as they use the BuddyBoss platform, NOT BuddyPress. If they compare them VS something, this should tell you that they don’t use it as their main platform. Yes, this is because, for lots of things, BuddyPress needs to be customized via code as it doesn’t allow, for example, being edited with Elementor (just to name a case). Also, we think it’s really unfair to compare a one-time purchase theme like ours, with a platform that you need a pricier recurring subscription to https://www.buddyboss.com/pricing/

You got a reply about BuddyBoss because you were making claims that were not true, as we proved in our previous comment. This is important because you can’t compare two different platforms saying “you can’t tell me BuddyPress doesn’t do this because BuddyBoss does” when they don’t even use the same plugin expecting the same features. Regarding your question, yes, as we said before you need to customize the code in order to change/add widgets, you can find them inside “vikinger/buddypress/activity/index.php” (that’s the file you need to edit)

Hi hasslefreecargo, from what you are saying, it seems that you are trying to install the wrong zip file. You need to use the Installable WordPress file only. Check this tutorial: https://www.envato.com/blog/install-themeforest-wordpress-theme/ Keep in mind that over 970 people were already able to install it and you get the same files as everyone else, so it’s not impossible.
