We are going to use BoxIcons for BS5/Laravel 9 but you can use any other icons as per your choice/requirements

We’ve changed the HTML + Laravel template in the new update
It’s a total re-write, restructured, updated UI, updated libraries and there is no way you can upgrade from last version, You will have to move your files to the newer version if you would like.
The easiest way to update would be to move files from your existing app/project to the updated version’s starter-kit.
You can also check documentation for more details for the usage of the template

I have read you cannot offer any customization services. But do you consider it possible to have a vertical menu and horizontal menu in one interface? The idea is that users can select themseves if they want to have the vertical menu or the horizontal menu. By pressing some button the menu would switch from vertical to horizontal menu.
Example: first the user has the page with horizontal menu: https://pixinvent.com/demo/frest-clean-bootstrap-admin-dashboard-template/html/horizontal-menu-template/app-user-list.html ...and then switches to vertical menu (same page – only menu changes): https://pixinvent.com/demo/frest-clean-bootstrap-admin-dashboard-template/html/vertical-menu-template-bordered/app-user-list.htmlCan you please give some advice how this result could be achieved? Thanks for getting in touch. We do not consider this feature, one would use the default menu setup for them.
It would be possible in SPA built with Vue, Angular or React where you will be able to re-render application with different layout without refreshing the page.
In HTML template it’s not possible.

In the latest version we have only built major apps for now. According to our survey, very few people are using those apps and it increase our efforts to create and maintain such apps. We may or may not consider all the apps with Bootstrap 5 version in future but for now we don’t have any plans. You may consider converting old apps like chat, todo that are present with bootstrap 4 version to bootstrap 5. Mostly one can achieve this by replacing classes of Bootstrap 5.

Hi, I am using laravel version of the template but, when I changed the direction to rtl in .evn file did not change the direction of the template. How can I change the direction from left to right based on Language changes.?

We have not implemented such feature. You can run either LTR or RTL at a time. RTL is implemented using postcss which does not support run time changes.

Hi, I cannot change the logo in the laravel admin template. The block of code that contains the logo brand and image does nothing even when I edit it. The Frest logo and icon does not change. I cannot make any changes to the horizontal-navbar.blade.php file that holds the nav menu. Kindly advise.

Salutations, i bought this theme for laravel after watching the demo. When I installed the package I found that the demo shown is the theme for html and not for laravel and many features are different and / or missing, so there is much more work to be done than the demo implies. Why? Why do you show the html demo in a product for laravel?

In each demo you will see HTML and HTML + Laravel demo buttons above demo. Currently we have laravel version only for bootstrap 4.
If you are looking at Bootstrap 5 demos, we have just updated our template with Bootstrap 5 in HTML version. We are working on restrucring Laravel and update Laravel version with latest Laravel 9 and support Bootstrap 5. It will take at 1 or 2 months.
We have already written the same on the item page that currently Laravel version is available with Bootstrap 4 only.

It’s not possible to upgrade to version 3 as Frest is upgraded to bootstrap 5 with breaking changes of folder structure. So we suggest you to download version 3 and start integrating your application/website.
