3. for my groups when I open them they default on the forum tab. I would like them to default only on the home tab when i open a group. How can I fix this
1. No, you didn’t add it. Check documentation.
2. Today almost everyone has an account on the gravatar.com so generally you don’t need avatar editor. FAQs are here – http://themeforest.net/item/wildcommunity-buddypress-theme/faq/3146452
3. Check FAQ
Hello, I a new client using your template. on desktop view if you go to my site: http://montrealprotest.com/ (1) You will notice you are not able to slide down to click on a subpage on the main menu bar and (2) be as you register or edit your profile there is no upload avatar plugin for users…I thank you for your assistance! I can create a user for you to access my site if needed
Jeremy
1. You should add short description for each menu element.
2. Theme is integrated with Gravatar. Buddypress doesn’t allow to have square avatars and horizontal group thumbnails so that’s the reason why it was hidden. You can enable it if you want but first you have to create groups and then enable avatars editor – check FAQ
Hi there, I faced some difficulties when using a specific set of plugins. I’m interested in using Cubepoints integration for Buddypress, but when I activate this and go to the “points” tab in my profile I get the following: http://postimage.org/image/t8jxx0jrx/
The dark background should be white and it completely displaced the header section. Do you have an idea how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance! Elries
Hi,
It looks like this plugin uses own 4 page templates which are here – /includes/templates/cubepoint/
You have to add few DIVs on the top and the bottom of this all 4 page templates. Proper HTML structure you’ll find here (1st topic): http://themeforest.net/item/wildcommunity-buddypress-theme/faq/3146452
Also you must use 1.0.4+ version of my theme.
I just purchased this theme and would like to know where to find the installation instructions. I unzipped the files, zipped up the the folder named WildCommunity with the theme files but when I installed it, it won’t activate. Brand new installation of WordPress also. Thanks
Open the “Help” folder and make a double click on the index file.

Hello
How can we have the Main Forum look exactly like the group forums? Please see here: Main Forum: http://webdesign2day.com/hakomat/wp/forums/ GRoup Forum: http://webdesign2day.com/hakomat/wp/groups/ppp-supporters/forum/
The main forum page (listing all topics) and individual topic page must be like the Groups Forum/Topics…
Hello,
It’s a bbPress, there is no styling for bbPress. Main Buddypress forum is here: http://webdesign2day.com/hakomat/wp/forum/Sorry, but I’m selling here a Buddypress theme, not bbPress. I’m not providing any styling for bbPress.
Ok.. Thanks.. No problem.. One more thing I dont see any option for users to update their avatar with this theme??
Theme is integrated with Gravatar.com Anyway if you want to enable avatars editor on your site then check FAQ – http://themeforest.net/item/wildcommunity-buddypress-theme/faq/3146452
How to let the users to change their avatars on my website instead on the Gravatar.com
Elries, I guess there aren’t any for this theme. Or did I miss them?
Where can I consult the shortcodes for this theme? (e.g. buttons, quotes, lists, etc.?)
No shortcodes, but I will add it soon.
Well, to be honest I expected a bit more. No offense but some functions like the blog posts in the frontpages are missing some styles like lists which get reset by default and the posts displayed do not have a maximum number of characters displayed. If your blog post is 10.000 characters long, the whole 10.000 character blog-post gets displayed withouth a read-more button.
Also the “responsive” aspect of the theme is a bit flawed as the headline does not get recalculated on resize. Meaning if you resize your browser-window the headline looks odd and overlaps breaking the display. The mobile menu itself isn’t placed well and does not scale in the width by default, in addition to that. The first thing what I did is, I stopped including the responsive.css provided.
The overall typographic execution lacks a bit (in which lists play a part). Some buttons aren’t styled like the submit button and the headline sizes aren’t optimal in my opinion (but I guess thats just a taste matter). And some interfaces like the permalink-page of activites aren’t styled completely.
But oh well, I bought it for inspiration and the basic concept, which I think is nice. The theme itself seems laking some important details (see above) which would make it complete and it ’s coded with the XHTML standard to bad this isn’t based on something like Boilerplate (HTML5, CSS3 ).
Summary:
Stay away if you’d like to use it out of the box and expect a perfectly modern, minimalstic BuddyPress template with up-to-date technics.
Buy it, if you want a good place to start at and,
or want to learn how BuddyPress works.

I don’t see and problems with UL or OL lists – http://www.demo1.diaboliquedesign.com/3/fusce-pulvinar-libero-sit/

Smaller font is almost invisible on mobile defices, but anyway you know what you’re buying.

Select menu looks fine for me – http://imm.io/LVfl

I found this page and I’ll fix it by the way.

HTML5 language is still under development.
Is their a way to change the word “Base” on the members profile page to something else? For example “About”.
Go to WP Dashboard -> users -> profile fields -> edit group
I am having a bit of a problem. In a members profile, when I click the Profile tab it automatically opens the Activity feed for that user. I have no way to view the Profile tab.
Also, is it possible to set it so that when you open a members profile page it automatically loads the Profile tab and not the Activity tab?
Thanks.
1. I’m not sure what do you mean but it’s normal for buddypress.
2. Open members/members-loop.php and replace<?php bp_member_permalink(); ?>for
<?php bp_member_permalink(); ?>profile
Have a look; http://smartstartups.co/members/admin/ try click on ‘Profile’, it won’t work… it just reloads ‘Activity’.
I see “Business Name Alexander” when I click on Profile – http://imm.io/LHNW
Thats not the case for me. It just keeps reloading the ‘Activity’. This is when I am logged in of course.
This is also the case when I am logged out.
All good. I fixed the issue. Just had to clear the browsing history and cache. Where can I go to change update the profile photo though? Can’t seem to find it.
It’s integrated with Gravatar.com
How can I change this so users can simple upload the image easily from their profile.
You will find solution here – http://themeforest.net/item/wildcommunity-buddypress-theme/faq/3146452
First off i feel quite sorry for you, everyone thinking you’re french must feel a bit odd. Since im not the biggest guy in wordpress, is it possible to add some sort of Review section in the website without coding anything? I am quite new to all this. Thanks
Hi, it is more meant of as a author can post a review. You can take a look on this – http://minimosity.djwd.me/?mm-reviews=rodriguezs-role-first-cover-amazing. It is a another themeforest website where authors and not users can post reviews.
My theme doesn’t have review system.
Two last questions, is it possible to add an “About the Author” feature? and lastly is it possible to add a buddypress approved facebook login? Such as wp-fb-autoconnect ?
Yes, there is many solution like this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-about-author/
Facebook login is possible too: http://wpmu.org/login-with-facebook-on-any-wordpress-wpmu-or-buddypress-site-using-wp-fb-autoconnect/
