So here is the thing. I used another Ad Network offering VAST Tag. The Ad-tag is VAST-compliant and served using HTTPS. I tested it with https://adplayer.pro/developer/vast_inspector

4. If I want to add a script specifically to the default video page template, how do I do that?

1. The theme uses Google IMA SDK for requesting ads from any VAST-compliant ad server as you might know, please check Support and compatibility.
That tag URL returns empty tags (screenshot), also I tried the tag on the Adplayer pro page but no luck, it didn’t work https://youtu.be/OzzFYLWgt0c
2. You can select the ratio from Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Player > Player Aspect Ratio field, don’t select default, just try and see how it works,

3. I guess the Google IMA SDK can manage that, anyway there is nothing we can do, the Ad Tag must be VAST-compliant.

I already have script and code inserter plugin installed. The problem is none of them will insert the code specifically in video page template’s segment. All of them will insert in across the site either in body, header, or footer. I need a solution for adding the script directly to the video page template only so that the script runs only when someone views a videos and not when they are reading blogposts or visiting homepage or other pages.
You can hook into the wp_footer action hook, it allows you to add any code as you wish, for sample, you can put this code snippet to the end of streamtube/functions.php or streamtube-child/functions.php file if child theme is activated and put your scripts into the code as mentioned.

Video encoding is failing. The log says this: sh: admin/nice: No such file or directory
I checked the path to application folder on server is set to usr/bin. That is where ffmpeg is installed.
All plugins and and the theme are up to date.
However, I do see nice bin path being set to “admin.” What is that?
Okay, I unchecked the nice box and it seems to be working now. What really happened here? Nice box was previously checked and it worked perfectly fine.

1. You can navigate to Appearance > Customize > WP Video Encoder section, scroll down and enable on the custom resolutions as you wish (screenshot)
- After enabling the options, you will need to re-encode the encoded videos.
- Enabling more resolutions requires more resources such as RAM and disk space.
2. Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Player section, scroll down and clear the AdTag URL field, it is used for demo purposes, you can run your Ads by putting your tag to the field, it supports Ads from Google Ad Manager, Google AdSense network, or any VAST-compliant ad server.
FYI: I have been working on the next update with many improvements, Custom Ads will be supported, it will come soon.

1. The users cannot view the premium video content unless they paid it by points of myCred, there is nothing wrong with the Picture in Picture feature.
2. Ads do not apply to premium videos.
3. You can navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Player section, scroll down and clear the AdTag URL field to remove Ads.
At the moment, It only supports Ads from Google Ad Manager, the Google AdSense network, or any VAST-compliant ad server, also, the theme has no options to put Ads on custom videos.
I have been working hard on the next update with many improvements, custom Ads will be included, it will allow you to run your own Ads along with any VAST-compliant ad server, also, it will support Ads on custom videos, the update will come soon, at the moment, it is not ready yet.

Embedding the Twitch video is more complicated than other websites, I suggest that you embed its iframe code instead of the video URL.
Step 1: Copy the iframe code (screenshot 1, screenshot 2)
For example:<iframe src="https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=cafegyrhe3rd&parent=www.example.com" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" scrolling="no" height="378" width="620"></iframe>
Step 2: Replace www.example.com with your own domain name, for example your-website.com
For example:<iframe src="https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=cafegyrhe3rd&parent=your-website.com" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" scrolling="no" height="378" width="620"></iframe>
Step 3: Paste the modified iframe code to the Media Id field as you have known ( screenshot 1, screenshot 2).
Twitch requires API access to be able to retrieve the video thumbnail, title, description … etc, it is currently not ready yet and I’m afraid you will need to enter those content manually.

License code issued I bought your theme for testing purposes I installed on a subdomain. I bought your theme and tested on a subdomain and couldn’t get it work because of FFpmeg issues. I change server and purchase a real domain and want to transfer my license to the new domain and can’t by the way the subdomain is deleted. caona.org is the new domain for the license.
When I attempt to embed a video from youtube, the thumbnail loads and says successful, however the video page does not show the embedded video.

You can select the default Aspect Ratio of player from Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Player section (screenshot), don’t select default.
Also, you can set the ratio on the Edit Post screen from the backend (screenshot) or frontend (screenshot).

This is working out amazing thank you, ran into another issue which is probably user error lol. When editing the left menu, I am setting it up as Videos -> Genre -> Sub Genre. if the link has a sub link under it(sub genre) it doesnt expand that list instead it closes the video list back

The left menu only supports one level of dropdown for a number of reasons, if you need unlimited levels, you may switch to Header 2 template instead, navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > General section and select Header 2 template (screenshot).
