1. You can paste this code snippet to the end of videotube/functions.php or videotube-child/functions.php file if child theme is activated, it will display the large image size instead of default.

2. You can easily change the size of container with just CSS, for example, you can paste this css snippet to Appearance > Customize > Addtional CSS field.

WPbakery is bundled and you can use it without providing a license, simply, just activate it from the Appearance > Install Plugins page and omit its license notification.

You could always purchase a WPbakery license if you wish, by purchasing WPbakery, you will have all paid features and Author Support from the WPbakery team.

Otherwise, just activate the plugin as how you activate a normal plugin.

1. You can use the Widget Importer & Exporter plugin to import the sample data widgets

If you can’t import the file, just copy and paste the file content to the field (screenshot).

2. To remove the Youtube info such as logo, fullscreen button …, you can activate this plugin.

3. To solve the Edit issue, you can navigate to Appearance > Theme Options > Submit Form and set the user roles that you allow to submit videos from the Who can submit the video? field.

4. You can modify the banner at Appearance > Widgets > Video Content Bottom sidebar.

The theme does not recognize the direct URL of the video file, I’m afraid you would need to upload those video files onto WordPress manually from the fields as you have seen.

FYI: If you want to stream your hosted video files, you might be interested in StreamTube, my newest video streaming theme, if you want to switch to StreamTube, I’m willing to give a refund for your Videotube purchase, StreamTube can encode your uploaded video files to HLS using FFmpeg and you still need to upload those files onto WordPress manually.

You can embed any videos if they support the embed or iframe code, HOWEVER, the VAST can only run on Youtube videos and self-hosted video files., I added Video.js player into the theme and it supports Google Interactive Media Ads as mentioned.

It is possible to switch to StreamTube theme, however, a few of the content will be lost such as post view and like counts:

Regarding the Post Views of StreamTube theme, I have been working hard to release the next update with Google Site Kit reports for each member dashboard, Members have their own dashboard as you might see, the post views will be calculated based on Google Analytics Reports, this feature is currently not available yet but it will come very soon.

I may make some videos for moving from the VideoTube theme, however, it is currently not available yet.

I suggest that you increase the Maximum Upload File Size in your PHP settings, if you aren’t sure how to increase it, please ask your hosting support.

• Log into your server using FTP and navigate to the wp-content/themes folder.
• Extract videotube.zip file and upload the extracted folders to /wp-content/themes/ folder on your server.

Unfortunately, the custom login option was removed for a number of reasons, the theme uses default WP login instead as you have seen.

If you want to use that, I’m afraid you would need to modify the theme manually.

Yes, but wordpress password protection does not help me, because each user has a different password, because they are personalized products. For that I use the “Passster” plugin in my current blog theme, but now I want to change the theme to one more dedicated to videos, so I would like to know if this plugin is compatible with your theme, to protect the videos. My idea is that each user can access the videos with their own password. Thanks
