I bought your theme ‘Magazine’ and tried to import de .XML demo file to get my website like your demo and to work from there. But it didn’t looked like the demo in any way. http://www.damesvoetbal.nu/
I hope you can help me with the problem to fix it and get the website exactly like the Magazine demo.
I did it like I always do with .xml files. This is de first of 12 websites, where it didn’t work out.

Oh, alright, lets back to the question. Actually I still a bit confuse with that.
On the homepage, you can select particular post category to be shown. So you just select category that is what you NOT to be shown on there…. ?? This is what I understand since the first time…
ok, I’ll try my best to explain
- Every time you create a post (image, teaser, read more link), this is going to be added to the homepage
- Is there any way to hide a certain post to be shown on homepage?
- Pls have a look at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-hide-post/ to understand what I mean; unfortunately this plugin does not work
hm,
1. create a new post. and assign to for example category ‘newspaper’
2. in your home page, when you are calling post, you need to use page item ‘blog’ right? In this page item you can assign a particular category to it. Just assign something that is not ‘newspaper’

well, still not what i am looking for
right now I have about 7 categories and I want to show posts of 6 categories on the homepage but want to hide posts from category #7
Create a new category for example category ‘daddy’
then assign parent category of cat1-6 as ‘daddy’ then assign daddy to blog item in homepage.

Yes, go to admin panel ‘plugin setting > SLIDER TYPE ’
then try to change time period on slider you’re using.

I want to use the new free WordPress CDN Photon (http://jetpack.me/support/photon/) with this Theme, but the the Thumbnails from Megazin doesn’t work with Photon. Other Themes are working great…

no, this is a misunderstanding I do feature posts on homepage, but I do want to hide posts that belong to a certain category. so those posts should just be featured on the categories page.
