Actually, building the Shop page comes from the Elementor Pro version, Elementor free version does not support that as you might know, also, the theme does nothing in building the shop page, I built the Shop page from Woocommerce template hierarchical, not from Elementor free or pro version, and so, I guess the problem does not come from the theme, honestly I have no idea how the Pro version works since I haven’t tried it yet.

Actually, just because re-designing the shop is a tool from Elementor Pro version does not mean that it is not your theme that is the problem, because I have built MANY websites using Elementor Pro template tool to re-design the “product archive” aka Shop page and I NEVER have a problem. So it’s something to do with your theme that is different from every other theme.

So whatever is the problem, it’s a shame that it’s not working because honestly the existing standard shop that comes with your theme, it’s UGLY. Why do we want to see related videos at the bottom of the shop? I want related products. And the price, it’s really small GREEN font. It’s hard to read and it’s ugly. The images are tiny and clipped, there is a blog sidebar which has nothing to do with the shop, there should be a widget area for the shop in widgets.

Seriously man, if people are gonna use this theme it’s probably because they want to find some way to monetize it, and if the shop looks terrible how are they going to do that? My customer has asked me to build a whole new website dedicated to the shop because your theme shop is so bad. I shouldn’t have to make a whole new website because I am a professional web designer and I use Elementor Pro, and the tool to re-design the shop should work, and if not you should investigate it and fix it.

Unfortunately because you are not willing to investigate it I am hiring a coder to work out the problem but even he is confident he can fix it, but it’s silly why wouldn’t you fix it so the hundreds of people who purchased your theme already can benefit from something that might only take you a couple hours to fix at max.

Actually I let you know of another suggestion in the past, in a previous comment how it would be nice to have a live chat on your videos, you weren’t very helpful and made it seem to be a big deal. Then this same coder I hired, it took him about 5 or 6 hours to build one from scratch. Now I have a live chat in your theme that I custom built. You know how many more sales you will get with this feature? It’s pretty much a standard thing on YouTube and Rumble videos and my guy built it in half a day it cost me $100 bucks. We can open/edit any video, then activate the live chat feature for anyone logged in. For such a low time/cost investment, this is also something you should be adding to your theme.

Anyway just letting you know my thoughts, I’ll survive without your support but you are ignoring a large chunk of users (& sales) that will benefit by not fixing these problems.

1. The problem was that before the products were not showing when I applied the Elementor Pro template. (Actually initially I wasn’t seeing any change but I think this was a cache issue). I had to get my dev to fix it. It won’t work for any of your other customers til you find this problem.

5. As above, the built-in video live streaming is not ready yet, bear in mind that you can always embed Youtube live streaming if you wish, StreamTube supports embedding videos from other websites such as Youtube and Vimeo.

My built-in player only supports Youtube videos (demo) which means you can embed the Youtube live streaming.

Actually, those above players only support embedding VOD videos (HLS – m3u8) or Youtube videos, this is not something I meant.

1. As far as my experience, the feature requires the Transfer Plus add-on to be installed and enabled, unfortunately, it is a paid add-on from the myCred store.

To be clear, myCred plugin is compatible with the theme, I wish but this does not mean all its premium add-ons come for free and I’m afraid you would need to purchase the add-ons if you want to extend your website functionality.

2. That is a nice question, you can select the default role from New User Default Role dropdown which is underneath the Membership checkbox as above (screenshot).

• Subscriber and Contributor roles can only view video/post content, they can’t upload or submit any posts.
• Author (Creator) role can upload videos as well as submit blog posts but with restrictions, to prevent publishing videos from Author users, you can navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Upload and disable the “Auto Publish” option (screenshot).
  Author role can only edit and delete their own videos/posts.
• Editor role can upload and manage other user’s videos/posts
• Admin has full permissions as you have known.

All logged-in users can comment, like, dislike, follow, buy points, donate, withdraw

So, if you want to allow all new users to be able to upload videos, you can select the Author role by default, however, be careful, it may hurt your server resources.

Otherwise, you could manually upgrade/downgrade the role by editing the specific user profile and just select the role as you wish (screenshot), it is up to you and you would ask a question, how to know which users want to become an author role?

The idea is to create a Contact Form (or a Google Form) and add it to the menu, if someone wants to upload videos, he can fill and submit the form with his content and you know what you will need to do.

As mentioned in the early comments, you have to install the FFmpeg software to encode your uploads locally, it seems you haven’t installed the FFmpeg yet (documentation)

To install FFmpeg, you will need to have a VPS or a dedicated server with Linux OS, if you aren’t how to install the FFmpeg, please ask the server technical, they would install it for you.

Keep in mind that encoding files locally would spend a lot of resources, for example when you upload a video with 100MB, the FFmpeg will encode your file into multiple files with multiple resolutions such as 240, 360, 480, 720, 1080 .. etc and it would spend around 300MB or more of your storage, in the future, you will need a very big storage to save all encoded files, let think what you will need to do.

Please note that most shared hosting may not support FFmpeg because it misappropriates a lot of resources, and if so, you can’t encode the uploads and you will need to deactivate the WP Video Encoder plugin and make sure you upload the mp4 format with H264 codec instead.

Finally, If you can’t install FFmpeg or your hosting does not support FFmpeg, or you don’t have big resources, Bunny Stream is your choice, please note that it is a paid service, it does all things for you such as encoding and delivering your videos through CDN with low cost and large bandwidth, fortunately, I integrated its API into the theme, your uploads will be uploaded to Bunny CDN directly.

1. Exactly, but it does not apply to the Donation button, it is used for selling content, member pays points to view video content (documentation), (image), (demo video URL)

The feature can restrict visitors from viewing your video content, for example, you can restrict non-logged in users from watching the specific videos or you can restrict subscribers from watching the specific videos that require an Author role to be able to access … etc

3. The amount must be larger than 0, otherwise, it does not appear.

4. I forgot to say that you have to choose “Custom” from the Location field (screenshot).

It is not available but possible, as mentioned in an early comment, I wish but I’m afraid you would need to purchase the Transfer Plus addon from myCred store, actually, the donation button works based on the myCred Transfer free addon (screenshot), I hope you understand that StreamTube hasn’t been made for referring you to purchase any premium add-ons, that is the way how myCred works.

3. That is strange, it works for me, did you clear the cache? could you share the admin credentials via this form privately? I will have a look into it.

I suggest that you activate the child theme (streamtube-child.zip) and put the code at the end of wp-content/themes/streamtube-child/functions.php file

Modifying the child theme is always recommended and the changes won’t be lost when updating the parent theme.

I’m afraid you would need to activate the child theme and add the code manually, I can’t customize the theme on your behalf for a number of reasons.

So 30% things that are showing in your demos are not actually coming in Demo imports. That’s a bit disappointment. I have to setup everything from my end like mycred, social share and other plugins. One click demo import means everything that you show in your demos should come with that import. Isn’t it? So if i don’t set up Google Sitekit and Google Tag Manage, page views will never show ., right?

That is normal, One Click Demo Import does not mean you can import all things like the demo website, it only includes Posts, Pages, Comments, Taxonomy Terms, Images and some basic settings, if you use another theme, you still need to set up your own content.

Calm down my friend, Google Sitekit plugin requires connecting to your Google Account and only you can connect to your account, I shared the documentation and it has all things you need.

Please note that the theme hasn’t been designed for that purpose and that is the sample code snippet and the sentence may not appear fine as you expected, you will need to adjust it manually.

The theme comes with dark and light modes only, you can navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > General section and select default mode, it is not available to change the background color from the theme options panel, I’m afraid you will need to work with your own custom CSS.

2. Those selections are the bulk action feature, that appears since you have set up Bunny CDN from the Settings page, they allow you to sync/generate multiple videos with just one click.

All WP cache plugins should work fine as they are made, you have to work with your Hosting and WordPress, a lot of reasons may make your website slow, not just from the theme, that tutorial shares all things, depends on what you have and what you need, I don’t think there are any themes that made for specific cache plugin.

The Webhook URL can detect the video status automatically and it is strongly required, you have to put your Webhook URL to the Webhook field from your Bunny dashboard as detailed.

Please note that the Webhook will apply to the new uploads only.

To update the status of earlier videos, you can navigate to Media > Library, edit the video files and select “The Video encoding has finished” status, remember to save changes (screenshot).
