Hello, unfortunately i don´t get a self ad schedule running…. i followed step by step your documentation … no succsess. ad schedule shows green “running” , added the schedules, the ad tag url shows a nice xml file…, added the test schedules to a self hosted video…. nothing happens. maybe something with the cache i use ( wp rocket ) or bunny cdn? All other things work great…. update, stability, user friendly! not like many other themes. and it is usable for people like me , who are more user than programmer. It seems your FFmpeg does not support HLS, to see if your version supports HLS, navigate to Tools > Site Health > Info tab, scroll down and expand WP Video Encoder section, and look at the FFmpeg HLS and FFmpeg Segments rows (screenshot), if there is nothing, this means you will need to reinstall the latest version of FFmpeg with HLS and Segments settings enabled.
FYI: If you don’t want to encode the uploads locally, you may be interested in using Bunny CDN instead (documentation)

Make sure that you activated the StreamTube 2.1.4 and StreamTube Core 2.1.10 , those are latest version.
You can set those options from Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Player section, don’t forget to clear cache if you activated any cache plugins.

1. Just a disclaimer, it’s adult. However, when I revert back to an older version of the theme I started with, it fixes itself. It was the theme update, not the core.
2. I’ll take a look. The google kit immediately worked as intended for the views. I just haven’t seen anything show on the page.
Also, going back to the sidebar titles, I meant the titles of the videos. since the sidebar is small, most of the overflow gets hidden when I change the videos to extra-large. I do see an option for overlay, but I’d like to have the option to change to inline. I can probably just get the selector and change the display to inline-block. Right now I just set the visibility of the titles to hidden.

Regarding the first question, after updating the theme and StreamTube Core plugin (version 2.1.7), to move the comments section:- Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Single Template section and check on “Disable Comments Template” checkbox, remember to save changes.
- Navigate to Appearance > Widgets page, drag and drop the Comments Template widget into the Content Bottom sidebar (screenshot), the widget has no additional options.

1. Will that be fully editable or just widgets? Hoping I can add fields like actors, artists, and etc. The importer has that information as well, just a matter of plugging the data in.
2. I am not using Youtube. I may be able to edit the plugin to work with other sites, but the plugin I’m using now does everything it needs. It has its own custom fields which I need to plug into the widget or blocks.
3. Thumbnail from the importer I’m using works. It’s the secondary link preview in question. I can get it to work by copy-pasting the .mp4 that’s available, but I have to do it manually. Looking for a way to have it hook into that field. I know by inspecting its, featured_image_2. I’m normally used to using advanced custom fields with Elementor Pro and plug things in that way. But it seems I’ll need to dive in and edit the php to inject what I need.
4. Popularity can work in terms of analytics on our tube site. Most of the time, it’s easy to just sort by the most views in a specific amount of time. Although that can sometimes get more complicated when it comes to engagement algorithms, views are the easiest solution.

The single video template is the default WP template, it is a static template, not built by Elementor, I suggest that you customize the template using hooks, a ton of hooks are supported, I haven’t created documentation for the developer yet, let me know what exactly you want to implement, no guarantee but I may share a few tutorials.
2. I thought that you asked for importing youtube videos, the field is video_url as you have known, it accepts an embed URL, iframe or attachment ID
3. The post meta field is _thumbnail_url_2 and it accepts a webp/gif image URL only, mp4 format is not supported, are you looking for this info?

2. I fired up ACF and was able to successfully have some information directly imported in. The plugin that is importing the embed links is working as intended and the video player is working. So I should be good with that.
3. They serve an mp4 format. Looks like I’ll need to have them convert to webm/gif, unless there’s another way to have a video preview on hover.

While working on the tidbits, I had to do some CSS for hiding the title for the sidebar widgets. I didn’t see any option to do so in the settings. So had to resort to selectors and using visibility:hidden. If there’s any other way, I’d love to hear about it.
In the categories and tags, I’d like to remove the Video | Posts tabs when searching. Same with the dropdown, preferably removing that and just having search.
I tried what you suggest with hiding the comments, then adding as under content. But the original comment box will not hide.

1. Honestly, don’t wait for the developer documentation , I have a priority To-Do list before making developer documentation and DON’T modify any hooks of the theme.
You may learn how to work with WordPress Hooks https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/hooks/ it would help you a lot.
By default, all built-in hooks of single video template can be found in streamtube/single-video.php file and keep in mind that the theme comes with three single video templates, you will need to work with these two files if you plan to use Single Video V2 and Single Video V3 templatesstreamtube/page-templates/single-video-v2.php streamtube/page-templates/single-video-v3.php
Firstly, I suggest that you activate the child theme (streamtube-child.zip) which is included in the purchase package.
Then, for example, you can paste this code snippet to the end of streamtube-child/functions.php file, this code will show a text after the video player, it is just a sample code, but it may give you an idea to work with hook, you will need to understand WP coding knowledge as well as PHP, HTML, JS and CSS, if you can’t, I’m afraid you would need to hire a freelancer.
4. Did you mean the Widget Title, each widget must have its own title field and simply, you can remove the Title text (image)
To remove the dropdown field from Search bar, navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Search Template section and select No Filters (image).
You will need to hide the default comments template, navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Single Template section and check on “Disable Comments Template” checkbox, remember to save changes.

So I followed the instructions and was able to connect Bunny CDN. MY issue is once I click Sync from the media page, it gets stuck on Uploading.
But it shows it has uploaded on Bunny CDN in the dashboard.
When clicking on the URL for the video on the site, it shows the video still being uploaded also.

It shows it is attached on the main media dashboard, but not when you click on the individual video. The only attached thumbnail is the main image for the video.

Please note that importing images only works after you set up the Webhook URL, it does not apply to the existing videos, could you try again?

After discussing with the team a few days ago, we didn’t intend to integrate the fluid player because it does not meet the theme functionality, if you wish, you may hire me or find a freelancer.
Don’t modify any files of the theme, your changes will be lost if you update the theme in the future update, I highly recommend you to modify the child theme instead.

I have checked your website, and unfortunately, it works very slow and the preloader is loading forever, I’m not able to tell you which reason is causing the problem, so many things could be causing trouble such as hosting connection, active plugins, number of visitors, image size …. etc.
I run the theme on shared hosting and it works fast as you have seen, so, I believe the problem does not come from the theme.
Firstly, make sure that your hosting has enough resources such as RAM and bandwidth.
Then, you may deactivate all unused plugins and try a cache plugin, I use Wp Optimize and it seems to work fine https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-optimize/
If you modified something, make sure you understand what you have done, otherwise, you should restore the theme to the original version.

Instale el theme y todo y fui configurando como dice, agregue el bunny.net pero al subir un video me los sigue guardando en el hosting local aunque ya este habilitado el bunny cdn si puede ayudarme a configurar eso le envio los datos de inicio ya busque errores pero nada sigue subiendo los videos a el hosting y no a bunny
Ahora veo que el mycred free simplemente no sirve para nada y muy a fuerza necesitas del mycred mas caro para realizar todas las funciones en la web, espero en un futuro ya no depender mas de terceros para que el plugin haga sus funciones mas basicas, por ahora dejare pendiente este proyecto porque es muy costoso usar las herramientas de terceros, espero en siguientes actualizaciones no se dependa tanto de mycred gracias

1. Have you configured the Bunny API as detailed in documentation? could you share the log content (image)? I will have a look into it.
2. myCred is compatible, I wish but this does not mean all its add-ons come for free after purchasing the theme, I’m afraid you would need to purchase its paid add-ons if you want to extend your website functionality.
I am still improving and adding more powerful features for the future update, I guess I would develop a built-in Points and Subscription plugin, it is a large project and needs much time to be done.

Si lo configure tal y como dice su manual y no me lo acepta en bunny
If you set up your website on localhost, you will need to change the Sync Type option, Feching is selected by default and it can’t work on localhost (image)
You may select PHP Curl or Shell Curl instead, Shell Curl is recommended and make sure your hosting supports Curl.
If no luck, could you share the log content (image)? I will have a look into it, and if possible, just share your website URL and the admin credentials via this form privately, I will have a look into it shortly.

solo necesita la pass y user de el wordpress verdad, porque muy cierto no configure el shell curl porque no entendi como instalar
M e podria asesorar como dejar un solo theme en la web, trate de quitar los submenus que muestra los cambios de la home pero no supe como, si me puede apoyar a quitar todo eso seria de ayuda gracias

You have to click the Eye icon and copy the text instead, don’t copy the dots (screesnhot).

ya modifique, y ya me sube los videos a bunny pero ahora al entrar a ver el video me dice que el video se esta subiendo y el video ya me lo muestra en bunny a que se debe ese error

Webook is required to detect the video status automatically. - Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Player and select an Aspect Ratio, don’t select the default (screenshot).
Then, you can try to upload the videos again, in case Webhook isn’t configured yet, you will need to edit the video attachment and select “The Video encoding has finished” from the Status dropdown field (screenshot) and remember to save changes.

I believe I found the issue, you copied wrong Webhook URL, I suggest that you copy this URL (screenshot) and try again, it must work.

Yeah, you may try again later and remember to remove the existing videos that you just added from your WP backend.
