Hi I was hoping you may be able to guide me, i want to use the default layout for the menu on mobile as i think it looks nicer with the ‘wish list’ etc under the sections, but i don’t like the ‘Nav All’ or ‘Menu’ title being on there.
Is there anyway you can turn these options off within the theme settings? i know you can in the custom menu but then there is no wish list or account options shown.
I have attached three images to show the custom menu without the wish list account etc options and two showing the default menu but with the sections id like to remove.

Hi, no as my support has run out, but just getting to grips with the new theme as opposed to the older one if worked on.

There is still error in Ella ver 6.2.3. The collection page not showing the collection title. I requested at support to resolve this issue in Ella ver 6.2.2 and they did it and also told me that they will resolve this in Ella next version so I checked again in Ella ver 6.2.3 but still the same problem. How do I install the child theme templates? I am using the tea child theme but I can’t find where to install the templates.

6.2.3 doesnt show collection header description any longer. Same exact setting applied from 6.2.2. Seems like a bug. Great theme but 6.0 hasnt been without its issues.

We are facing one issue in our website i.e. https://www.bossexotics.ca/. We are using Super Market demo. On product details page, when we click on “Add to Cart” button, it is redirecting the user to Checkout page which is wrong. But this is working fine at home page and listing page. Problem is only in “Add to Cart” of product detail page. Can you please help us?

I just tested the new theme and see that the configuration file (settings_data.json) will not work in the new store. There are several errors. I know you said EVERYTHING has to be built over but does that mean: header, footer, brands, categories, and mega menu items too?
Are you using ella 5 and want to update to ella 6?
If yes, you can start with setting up theme again. Please don’t use anything from ella 5 for ella 6, they are 2 different theme source.

Because the Ella theme version 5.0 and the Ella theme version 6.0 are completely different code structures, our new version was built from the Dawn theme and compatible with Shopify 2.0
When you wanna update to new version, you must build your website as using a new theme such as header, menu, collections, etc… and you don’t copy code from theme source “Ella 5.0” to theme source “Ella 6.0”

in 6.2.1 cant import demo content

With the Section themes, when you install the theme source, it won’t include demo images/ banners as you see on our theme demo because Shopify doesn’t allow you to get data to show up when it is Section themes. Therefore, you need to start uploading and refer to our instructions in the User Guide to manage and set up. The demo in documentation will help you easily manage when you created menus, categories, and uploaded images.. for your site.
- For demo contents such as banners, and product data, it will not be included in theme purchase as they are under our license and we are buying licenses from other resources. You need to set up your own data - Regarding theme demo data, the banners, as well as demo products, are not included in the theme package as they are under copyright and are just for demo showcases.
If you want to have demo banners shown on your store, you can purchase our basic installation service for $39, and then we will install banners on your site: https://www.halothemes.com/amember/signup?id=100
But after that, you must replace them with your banners as you are not allowed to use them

Our child themes will be made again to include its design into ella in the future updates

from now child themes will be added into ella. We will start with Gymuso and Glassos first and then will be Belle doll and so on

this is not the same as the original. the product page layout is completely different. the thumbnails are not on the right, the “complete the look” section is gone, the square ‘add to bag’ sticky is gone and is now a full width rectangle at the bottom of the page, the sticky ‘recently viewed’ tab on the right is gone and is now a column at the bottom of the page, you can’t click arrows to go to previous or next products, and it doesn’t even have the “before you go…” exit popup. What in the heck happened?? Where is the original version I do not want this simplified stuff with everything good taken out of it! i waited MONTHS

Belle Dolls was a child theme of Ella and to develop this in Shopify OS 2.0 we only can do for homepage. This is the same for all child themes and some of them will be removed out of ella, some of them will be included with changes to be suitable for new theme structure
We hope to receive your understanding for this difficulties when we cannot bring exact things from Belledoll to ella

The old belle doll is a different theme from ella so it doesn’t have things from ella. When we include belledoll design for ella, it means ella has this homepage with all things from ella.
All functions are the same or it even has more than belle doll has, but different from design of inner pages, we only include homepage

There is problem in Ella Version 6.2.2 in variation sizes. For example if you will create different sizes 18 20 and 24 then when you will select the 20 it will be on 18 and will not be 20 and when you will select 24 it will be on 18 size. Please resolve this issue in next Ella version
