I have emailed you direct in the past with no issues. Not sure if my email client is blocking your response or you are not receiving email.
My email is in regards to the update and my licence. I have no active support and we bought to licence from an agency at the time. The agency doesn’t exist anymore but we do have a licence that I have shared by email. I usually use this to help identify that we are a genuine purchased user. Unfortunately this is the only way we are able to get support or theme updates from you.

The theme is supported and we will continue to update it. At the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out, however you will be notified via email when the new update is online on ThemeForest.
We should add that the current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and with PHP 8.0.

I just updated my theme yesterday from 1.2 to 1.7 and it has broken my website. Especially on the mobile device the logo is too big and covers the entire website and navigation. I’ve tried to remove logo from mobile and also tried to limit the size of the logo on the header and size of the header on mobile devices. I tried removing the logo altogether but it doesn’t seem to be working. How can I make it work?

Have you also updated Select Core to it’s current version (1.3 at the moment)? After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.
Also, when you update theme and plugins, you should navigate to Select Options > General and click on ‘Save Changes’ button in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file (with all of the settings set in Select Options).

Yes, all of this was done and yet the theme gave me a broken website. I’m now trying to restore my website to an older backup before I updated the theme.

Hi Team, just so you are aware and have emailed your support email. Google has now depreciated google.maps.Marker. Because you haven’t updated anything theme related for over two years Some elements from the plugin ‘Select’ (That is part of the core theme) do not work as expected and will break at some stage this year.
This is the error: As of February 21st, 2024, google.maps.Marker is deprecated. Please use google.maps.marker.AdvancedMarkerElement instead. At this time, google.maps.Marker is not scheduled to be discontinued, but google.maps.marker.AdvancedMarkerElement is recommended over google.maps.Marker. While google.maps.Marker will continue to receive bug fixes for any major regressions, existing bugs in google.maps.Marker will not be addressed. At least 12 months notice will be given before support is discontinued.
Please for god sake update your theme and plugins. This is becoming annoying now and others need to be aware to avoid this theme until issues are addressed.

Any news on this? Three years in and still waiting on an update. Out of date scripts, conflicts with WooCommerce, the list is long. Why is it taking three years to update? You need to remove this theme if you refuse to support it.

The theme is supported and we will continue to update it, however, at the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out.
As you may know, WooCommerce releases new versions of the plugin every few weeks. This means that some of the template files we use in our theme might show up for you as outdated. We do update all the template files when we release new versions of the theme.
If you are getting the ‘Outdated Files’ WooCommerce message, please note that most of the WooCommerce updates do not change anything critical, so it should not have an impact on the theme’s functionality. In case you already updated the WooCommerce plugin, go through the Checkout process to make sure everything is working fine. If everything appears normal, and in most cases, it will, you can feel free to ignore the ‘out of date’ warning.
If there is some kind of a glitch, you can downgrade WooCommerce to some previous version.
Also, you should know that you can always turn to our support team and you are more than welcome to submit a request at our Help Center and our support team will be happy to help.

Are you going to update the theme after 2 years of having nothing added/updated or tweaked to suite todays trends, WordPress changes and PHP changes. There is so many PHP issues in the theme when using PHP 8+, icons are out of date, conflicts with WP Bakery and Select elements. The list is endless. Why the lack of support for this theme?
If I’m honest the price tag for this theme doesn’t reflect its support. It should be half this if you are not willing to update it after 2 years. Things have changed and surely you are aware of security, bugs and improvements that come with this.

We have tested the theme on our installation with the latest version of WordPress and the theme is working correctly. Please note that not all WordPress updates require theme to be updated. The WordPress 5.8 was a major WordPress update where new block-based widget feature was added and the theme is now compatible with this feature.

Hi Select team, just want to know if or when you update this theme to add additional options for social media. Currently Twitter is now become X and its frustrating that the icon libraries are now out of date. Please do add this option to the next theme update.
